Normsnockers glad I am not the only one who has been over-indulging. Got in at 5am after my Christmas do on Thursday night. Felt terrible all day Friday-thank god for Cbeebies. Also felt guilty for being so unhealthy when TTC. Had said I would go along to a Brighton mumsnet meet up this evening but was just too nackered to cope with meeting new people. I am on CD 13 today so next week have to make sure we are at it like rabbits!!! (and am doing the driving next Saturday to the party we are going to)

Congratulations Trix1.

Hope everyone else is doing OK.

Evening all,
You've all been busy posting since I was last on, just had a quick read,

Words fail me staceym11, but glad you are getting on with life and I hope this pinkish tinge is implantation.

Regarding feeling unpregnant, When i was pregnant with ds af was a few days late and i felt so unpregnant that when i did hpt i didn't wait the full 3mins for result to show and chucked the test in the bin - that was how unpregnant I felt, but dh's gut feeling was to get the test back out of the bin and there it was a bfp.

Normsnockershow did your night out go, did you have a drink ( i would have)

trix1 congratulations and enjoy your pregnancy

fairydust I'm pleased for you that af has arrived so that you can start ttc

Jag hope you and your family have got over your stomach bug

Artoo I hope your feeling better and good luck with your appt not long to go now

jen1209 sounds like you have a fab infertility dr, goods new that shes getting you the test and on the nhs, hope you have a fab time at your grannys

Welcome and good luck to saskia and eldestgirl hope you both have a lucky stay

for those who don't know my stats are :
me 29
dh42
ds3.10 (took three years of trying but he was well worth the wait)
m/c first week of sept - suspected etopic as the hormone levels was so low.
on cd 21 of a 28 day cycle
nothing much to report, having had 12 hours sleep from 10.30pm last night i still feel exhausted- heavy head a stuffy nose that comes and goes and feel ever so slighty nauseous at times looks like i am coming down with yet another bug!

Hope all of you are ok and good luck xx

eldestgirl · 10/12/2005 01:03

I'd like to join please...
Me 35, DH 38, already have two DS
TTC since July, though it's a bit random thanks to DH business trips.
CD12, and also on the Persona thread...

Jen1209 · 09/12/2005 20:55

Evening all! DP at his works do tonight so the PC is MINE, all mine!!! Hope everyone is ok?

Norms, hope your party was ok, and nobody got too suspicious...

Of to my Granny's tomorrow with my Mum for the weekend. Really looking forward to seeing her and having a "girly weekend" - 3 generations of girls! She is down on the South coast so lots of lovely walks on the beach! DP loves it to coz although he adores my Gran, he gets to play the PS2 and PC all weekend without me here to nag him about housework etc!

merrycompo · 09/12/2005 15:48

Congrats Trix!! Here's hoping this is a very lucky thread I'm on CD4 and last month had a 40 day cycle. If you were me would you start bd'ing around cd10-30 or something like that?!!

jersey · 09/12/2005 15:17

Hi everyone just dropping in to wish you all luck for those BFP's.

Congrats Trix on the first pos of the thread .

Good luck from the Due in July Thread girls xxxxxxx

homemama · 09/12/2005 14:48

Normsnockers, my MW told me that nature designs the newly conceived baba to be able to cope with rather unhealthy things for the first 6wks or so to compensate for the fact that it takes that long to become aware of a pregnancy.
So don't deny yourself too much. Enjoy!

Hi everyone! Glad we have a new lucky (hopefully) thread.

Congratulations to Trix! Well done!

Right girls, none of us are going on to a new thread after this. We are all graduating from this one. Deal? Good!

The last OV without trying has passed this week so I'm all excited about next month. I may not let DH out of bed!

Snowballstrike · 09/12/2005 10:25

Ahh the Christmas Party dilema. Well I was good and drove to one last night, so only had one drink. Will probably indulge a little at dinner with friends tonight though. My Stats are Me 29, DH 36, 1 m/c in May, still trying for number one. Using Persona and have just started temping and having acupuncture, which helped me ov earlier this month. CD22.

Congratulations Trix!!! Enjoy every second (if you don't feel too sick )

Fingers crossed Carly, you probably tested too early. I do it every month, it's costing me a bloody fortune!

Saskia909 · 08/12/2005 22:43

I forgot to say - Snowballstrike and Normsnockers - I honestly would not worry about throwing caution to the wind over Christmas if you are ttc and not sure if you are pg or not. Unless you are totally over-the-top binge drinkers I think you can only do yourselves and your potential bumps good!

Saskia909 · 08/12/2005 22:37

Hi there
I was about to join the last thread when I saw it was ending for this one. I'm a lapsed person who has only "lurked" since DS2 was a baby. To introduce - Me 40, DH 35, DS1 13, DS2 2 and a half. Ttc for about 6 months now. I've never had any trouble b4 but I am 40 (aagh!) so it just may not happen. Which makes me feel a little down. However the giving and receiving of support and baby wishes can only help so here I am. And this is a lucky thread! So good luck to absolutely everyone, with only a tiny bias towards us older "last chance" mums. BTW I'm absolutely crap on all the acronyms!

loubag · 08/12/2005 21:17

Norms and snowball - i''m in the same position as you -CD22 today. like you I'm feeling 'unpregnant', except for sore boobs, but I'm not sure what else I might expect to feel if I was! Would I be feeling sick or anything if I was pg?
even after 2 months of ttc, I'm fed up of people asking why I'm not drinking etc!

Jen1209 · 08/12/2005 19:25

Hi all!

Quick catch up from me too as the week has flown by! Congrats to Trix1 - what a quick BFP for this new thread - lets hope it continues to be lucky for us!

Well, I had my 2nd apt with the infertility Dr (first was at beg of Oct when I was actually pg but didn't know it) I asked about the blood test my friend had had done privately as I wanted them done too and wanted to know where to go in Colchester for them. The Dr said that she didn't want me to get all stressed about the tests and that she would put me forward for them to be done on the NHS!!! Most people have to wait until they have had 3 m/c's before they start this so I am really pleased. Now all I have to do is wait for AF to start as the first set of tests are done on CD2. Currently on what must be CD38 after m/c

So that's it from me. Glad we have the new thread and hope you are all ok.

J x

Artoo · 08/12/2005 19:00

Hi ladies, and thanks to IamBlossom for starting the new thread.

First of all, congrats to Trix1 on that BFP - let's hope that's a really good omen for us

Time for re-introductions I think - I've kind of lost track of the old thread. So here's me:

I'm Artoo, 34, trying with DH (35) to conceive our first child. Been trying since July, using BBT to monitor my cycle after coming off the Pill (been on it well over 10 years). Noticed that my luteal phase seemed too short (7 days), so went to see doctor, and started taking vitamin B6. The B6 extended my LP to 10 days, and day 21 blood test showed low progesterone (20.5 when you are looking for 30-35). GP has referred us to the Gynaecologist, and our first appointment is December 20th.

I was very depressed last week, as I totally failed to OV last cycle - confirmed by both BBT and OPKs. I'm hoping that was a one-off and not anything more sinister. We did undertake a long haul flight on about CD8, which I understand can through things off.

CD1 today, a new cycle, a fresh start. I'm taking EPO, drinking Fertilitea, and I've started accupuncture. I'm at the "I'll try anything" stage!

Good luck to us all, let's have some more BFPs for Christmas!

Hugs,
Artoo.

JAG123 · 08/12/2005 18:56

Hi

Sorry haven't posted for about a week whole family has been down with a nasty stomach bug. (Mind you i'm not too good at regular posting either.

I'm on cd7 & also in the position of Christmas works do next Fri which should be a couple of days after ov. I've decided i'm going drink what i want. I don't do it very often so i don't think it could do much harm.

I had a quick glance through the thread, i hope everyone is starting to feel a little better.

Great thread title by the way>
Lets hope its lucky for us

trix1 · 08/12/2005 18:32

Carly - just do a test. Go on

carlychristmas · 08/12/2005 17:49

they are called pregnow off ebay cheapie ones but i have 6 left evry now and then i have pg symptoms like really sore boobs and peeing a lot especially in the night but then i realise that they are also af symptoms too

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:45

what test did you use yesterday? have you got another?

carlychristmas · 08/12/2005 17:43

i am ttc my third on cd26 but tested yesterday and bfn i usually have cycle 28-29 days but im pretty sure i ov'd cd13 due to ewcm (sorry ladies tmi) so i was convinced i would have an early bfp but nothing yet i would like to not test until saturday but im useless with things like that

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:38

Good for you then Fairy.

Carly - dh should be home in about half an hour but as I am desperate for him to come in the door and he has left his phone it will probably be longer.

fairydust · 08/12/2005 17:37

Hi all here's hoping this is a lucky thread,
Well AF has arrived for me which is a rare thing so i'm all excited

trix1 · 08/12/2005 17:37

Carly - been selfish but cant read the thread right now - whats your current situation?
