I think you should talk to your kidneys and tell them to get procuding quicker!! I mean, you could test in the morning with FMU and see if there is a faint line!?!?! But be warned that there might be nothing!! I think if the spotting stops then you should def test!!! :)

You're right, there's no way I could not tell DP, and have been keeping him upated with all (well most - don't want to freak him out tooo much) of my forays into figuring out my cycle so it's only fair he's updated of the latest developments

Sorry to hear of your mc but fx for a nice new shiny BFP!! High and open sounds like ov to me and i have heard some women get pg almost straight away after an mc (some don't though)

I am not certain when I ovulated, but prior to mc was practicing natural family planning, so am very familiar with the signs. I think it's 12 days as I had a high, open cervix and lots of egg-white mucus. HOWEVER, that came the same day as the very last dregs of the mc bleeding stopped, so there's always a chance everything's just a bit screwed up in my baby making apparatus. :)

Or in my case, the best time to not SWI as i never get a sodding positive on them - still pee on them all the same though

Anything which might suggest upduffness on here is always a Good Sign. We might feign scepticism but any Good Signs are suggestive of a BFP and therefore a possible Symptom .

You could take mine and GTR's psycho lead and try POAOS (peeing on an ov stick) instead as substitute for the real deal. Might help you to know when the best time to SWI is too?

Right LouLou - I don't think that its AF because firstly it's not normal for you and secondly it's way to early for AF like bleeding if you are due on Monday. If you have a normal 14 day LP then it most certainly could be implantation as this normally takes place between 6 and 10 dpo. That blood is fresh as well!

I think be honest with DP and tell him what is going on because it most definitely could be the start of something beautiful! If you can't hold out until Monday to test though, I think you should at least wait until Saturday, just to give your kidneys a chance to produce the hcg! :)

Zombie meth tasting whiskey - sounds good to me as a potential sign; anything that doesn't taste as it normally does when TTC is a good sign in my humble opinion!! How many dpo are you??

So it looks like everyone is peeing together on a variety of sticks on Monday. I WANT TO PEE ON A STICK! But I have a 4ww instead of a 2ww, which seems unfair.

I also sipped at DH's whiskey and coke last night and it tasted like meths (perhaps it was meths) . . . BUT usually I like whiskey and coke. Maybe it's a GOOD SIGN! Clutching at straws anyone? [hmmm]

Just checked again... thought it'd stopped but had a bit of a dab around and it's still going but not much (can only see by dabbing quite hard). It was watery and a very light pink. Now it's bright red. Still not like the start of an AF for me though, normally it's darker, thicker and a bit 'clotty' (eeww I know, sorry!) This is just like fresh blood.

Will try to leave it till Monday but might go insane over the weekend... i'll probably be a BFN though won't it, so I might as well just wait.

Typically, we were planning an early 'no SWI' sex night tonight to make up for all the pressurised SWI we've been doing lately. Hmph. What do I tell DP? Don't want to get his hopes up but definitely not up for any action :(

LouLou - that sounds like implantation bleeding to me possibly - without wanting to sound perverse, could you describe it a little more for me?? Have you checked since you came back from your run?? Spotting from implantation should only be shortlived!

If it is implantation bleeding then it will still take hcg a few days to build up in your urine so Monday is still probably your best bet if you want to avoid a BFN!! Sounds really promising though - I am a little bit excited for you :)

Ok, so after moaning that I have no symptoms to speak of, yadda yadda, I popped to the loo before going for a run at lunch and it appears that a) I'm spotting or b) AF is starting much earlier than expected.

Not sure what to think. It would be wierd if it was AF as the earliest I was expecting it was this coming Monday. Also I had EWCM a week later than I thought I would be oving, which led me to expect AF then a week later too. Also, it's reddish pink watery CM which isn't how my AF normally starts. Oh, and also I don't have cramps like normal either (can you tell I really don't want it to be AF?!)

It appears that my cycles are totally screwed though, so I don't wanna get my hopes up too much as it could well be a period.

The big question: should I test earlier than Monday...?!?!?

I am TTC baby #2.

My last period was 1/9/11, since my period ended I have been using Clearblue Digital Ovulation Testing Kit, which came back as a smiley face so been having fun with hubby :D

Now just have to wait to see if my period appears on 3rd October... fingers crossed!!!

Welcome Zombie!! Previous pg all I felt early on was extreme tiredness,extreme randiness would have been nicer but then I never got the 2nd trimester horniness either...

I was so tempted to not wait a cycle after mc but did and it feels like I wasted so much time as AF took long to reappear (was expecting a march baby and this trying for a June baby is my 1st attempt post mc) so good on you for going with your gut.

Sorry to hear some AF's have appeared.

Not sure about early pg signs as have not yet got my bfp but CM is cervical mucus, SWI is sex with intent (basically sex to get pregnant rather than just for fun), POAS is to take a pregnancy test (the ones you pee on a stick at home) & 2ww is the two week wait, roughly the time it takes between ovulation & when your period (AF - Aunt Flo) arrives, or if you are lucky you get your BFP (Big Fat positive on your pregnancy test). CM = cervical mucus
SWI = shagging with intent
2ww = 2 week wait
POAS = Pee On A Stick
POAOS = Pee On An Ovulation Stick

I am new here. Can someone define CM and SWI?

I had a mc at 11 weeks 4 weeks ago, and had sex again for the first time 1.5 weeks ago, around when I seemed to be ovulating . . . since then I've been irrepressibly (ahem) horny which was a sign of pg last time, but the mw told me to wait 4 weeks from date of ovulation to test, because a BFP might be the leftovers of the last. Naught not waiting a cycle in between, I know, but desperately impatient :) Anyone else found extreme randiness to be a sign of v. early pg?

loulou if you look at the fertility friends charts obsessively like me then you can see that a lot of women get cm throughout their 2ww - I shouldn't worry about it :)

Thanks GTR, any news is good news, that's my new saying (not 'no news is good news', hmph) :) Ah well might SWI just one last time, even though that would mean that my cycle is monstrously long (you never know!!)

I should be really busy this weekend after a busy week this week so I haven't been as tempted as I was last month. I suppose not having any symptoms makes it easier though as I'm expecting a BFN anway so don't really want to see the single line spring up again.

I had a little watery CM today as well - sometimes you can get fertile CM after you have ov'd and it not being dry is a good sign! I have seen lots pg of charts where women had watery CM in the 2ww!! Don't want to get your hopes up though and sorry if that didn't really help

I have lots of watery CM today and yesterday... anyone have any idea what that might mean. No other symptoms really other than my boobs getting quite a lot bigger (but that happens throughout the month usually anyway). Expertise welcomed, I'm so clueless.
