NEW BUS BOARDING FOR JUNE 2012

desperateoldie67 · 23/08/2011 06:40

Struck out this month...anyone care to join me on the June 2012 bus?

OP posts:
Readynow · 28/09/2011 08:05

Sorry to spell your name completely wrong Rusulka!! I'm still half-asleep!

Readynow · 28/09/2011 08:04

Thanks Rulska & Discolite. I do take it at the same time 5 out of the 7 days but I do sometimes have quite restless sleep & at the weekends do partake in an alcoholic beverage or 2!! Must be more disciplined I guess next month if AF doesn't stay away!!
Discolite Am very impressed with the amount of SWI going on! Grin. If only my DH had your partners stamina!!

Prunella79 · 27/09/2011 21:29

Ah ha thanks Disco that puts a whole new light on matters, but probably means i missed the boat with SWI at the right time sadly. Still i'd be so pleased to see any return of AF, that at least it would be a positive move in the right direction even if i've missed this month.

Fx for you still GTR

sorry to hear so many people packing up and leaving for the July bus but then again i've heard it's a pretty cool place to hang out, maybe see you there

GTR2882 · 27/09/2011 20:39

Indeed!!! Hope the hag stays well away!! I'd it's not this month, there is always next month :)

Discolite · 27/09/2011 20:35

Well GTR, I don't want to say 'OMG yr like so definitely pregnant!!!' but who knows, where there is no AF there is still hope! It's got to be your month at some point, right?

I'd try another test in a couple of days...good luck!

GTR2882 · 27/09/2011 19:11

Disco - went back up today!!!! Thought I might have a faint positive but not sure if it came up within the time limit so might be an evap - although it does appear to have colour!! I'm also feeling very wet and my cervix is low and really soft (almost squishy) and I had some EWCM (never had this before!) but not sure if that is just a sign of impending AF! Confused

Discolite · 27/09/2011 18:48

Rusulka, can you try and arrange a transfer of your fertility charm pupil to my secondary school please?! Ok, ok, he's probably about half the size of my pupils and may just stand out but I too feel in the need of a little luck!

Rusulka · 27/09/2011 18:41

2DPO and going nuts.

One of the mums at the primary school I work at says her son (in one of my classes) is a fertility charm- all his teachers, assistants etc. get pregnant within X amount of time. Find myself hovering near him with no suitable explanation, lol.

Need all the help we can get!

Readynow are you taking your temp at the same time every day? If you take it at different times that can make it change a lot.

Discolite · 27/09/2011 18:38

Hello again everyone.

GTR - did the temperature drop stay today or has it gone back up again?

Prunella, I only get sore nipples when I ovulate but I think that I ovulated on Sunday and no sore nipples yet! I do love the unpredictable nature of the menstrual cycle (not)

Readynow - in my extensive (ok, four months) knowledge of charting I've only noticed erratic temps when the mornings became less light and I started waking up later. They miraculously got back to normal when I set a 5am (shudder) alarm on my phone. Are you taking your temperature at the same time each day? I''ve also found that a proper boozeathon (more than two glasses of wine) also makes my temperature spike.

I'm sitting here glad that I've ovulated but pissed off that my DP and I managed to do the deed on 8 of the 9 days prior to ovulation...the day off being the crucial day before ovulation! ARRRGH! Oh well. We also did it the day of ovulation and the day after, so now have retired tiredly from the sex marathon.

Good luck to all those boarding the July plane!

milk · 27/09/2011 14:28

My period is due on Sunday, and 2bh I really do not feel pregnant :(

When my period arrives, I'm pigging out on Ben and Jerry's!!! lol

Readynow · 27/09/2011 13:04

Hello to newbies! Am very confused about my temps as very erratic & worried this means I have problems with ovulation! I know I know it is irrational but I just can't stop obsessing!! Blush Does anyone else who temps get erratic temps throughout their cycle even though the EWCM & positive OPK points to ovulation?

DeeLite · 27/09/2011 08:55

Sorry Floralflora - just realised that in copying your list, I also copied the last line of your post!

DeeLite · 27/09/2011 07:57

Looks like all the Monday testers were knocked off the bus by mean old AF before they got a chance to test. I'm just back to take my name off the list. Good luck to the rest of you. Hope the BFP list grows fast.

Just popped back to take myself off the list as I am on the July plane with a wine.

serious hormones raging atm! seem to want to cry at the littlelist things!! for example - Scot Mills had a prank call between mother and son at uni - very funny, then at the end they both said miss you!!! I could have cried, actually had to stop myself! (but then it could be hormones for AF and this damn headcold i have :(...)

I will wait for the internet cheapies to arrive but also still not sure how long my cycle should be!!!!!

Come on all you monday testers we want some BFP'S!!
P x

mrsmellow · 26/09/2011 16:04

worse Blush

mrsmellow · 26/09/2011 15:43

I also never thought I'd turn into this person and thought one of my friends was nuts a few years ago when she was obsessive Blush - but in my defence I don't tell anyone but MNetters about this...
I also need to do some work- tomorrow, tomorrow.. I can only imagine it gets works if you actually have a BFP!... then it becomes a PFB and you're neurotic on here.. why do we want kids again?!

zombiebanana · 26/09/2011 14:06

Hehe, yeah, I know, but boobs were definitely sore last time (although I mainly noticed it in week 5 . . . rather than week 4 which is where I could be now if DHs sperm has battled it's enthusiastic way to my little eggy.

BUT today have strange feeling in vagina. Perchance a TMI alert, but often when I have AF I get a kind of heavy, achy feeling in the outer parts of my vagina (lips etc). I have this sensation today, too, so I am reluctant to test in case it's a BFN and AF is only now packing her bags and boarding the train direct to my uterus! It would just be too disappointing (somehow less disappointing if AF just turns up, because then I can say to myself that I never thought I was pregnant ANYWAY).

But, ever contradictory, I purchased some sticks for the aforementioned peeing on today at lunchtime, and I am going to do it tomorrow morning if AF has not arrived, despite the fact that MW said to wait another 2 weeks. Unless I am suddenly gripped with resolve and decide to wait as instructed. Or maybe I'll split the difference and wait another week? Oh I can't decide.

Does anyone else find that this is taking over their thoughts? I can't bloody concentrate today and I have a really important deadline on Friday. I must STOP READING MUMSNET IMMEDIATELY and DO SOME BLOODY WORK. :) I had no idea I would turn into this person. I used to be so cool. And also productive.

Sorry, train of thought, self indulgence rantage :)

GTR2882 · 26/09/2011 12:01

Zombie you don't necessarily need sore boobs at this stage if you are pg - some women get them, some don't!! Not saying you are, but might be worth POAS just to see!! :)

zombiebanana · 26/09/2011 11:40

I am still waiting to POAS . . . but feeling a bit sick today again and yesterday had weird migraine (I get migraines with aura usually, and had weird aura-free migraines before when pg). However, boobs remain stubbornly un-sore. Grrr. Come on boobs!

Prunella79 · 26/09/2011 11:23

Hi All,
was so looking forward to seeing a pile of BFPs this morning, maybe some will turn up later - still holding out hope for the monday test team.

I'm still in the purgatory of post pill AWOL AF and still searching or signs.
two weeks back got obvious EWCM like i've never known before with my 15 years on the pill. so i presume ovulation?? then a week of headaches followed by really sore nipples. having invested in a bag o internet cheapies i thought i'd join the monday test team but BFN.
Never have sore nipples and headaches are rare, are these likely precursors to AF? or maybe i should be patient and try again in a day or two...Confused

You are all bad influences! I have never POAS'd before until a sensible time so have only ever done two tests in my life, both of them BFPs. Now I've discovered MN, and I got thoroughly caught up in all the symptom spotting and tested on Sat which was only CD22 of a normally long (32-35 day) cycle.

I couldn't see anything on the test to start with but when I looked back at it hours later under a strong light, I could see a very thin bit of a line (quite dark blue so don't think an evaporation line) and got all excited and tested again the next day - def a BFN that time though. I swing between blaming the tests (left over from two years ago when I bought a multi-pack and only used the one), blaming Sunday's BFN on it being the afternoon and only having a tiny wee and blaming myself for getting stupidly overexcited and testing TOO FLIPPIN EARLY!!

I have felt nauseous on and off for about a week, in a very morning-sicknessy sort of way, but it started before I would even have expected to ovulate. So, in short, I WANT TO KNOW, I WANT TO TEST NOW, I WANT A BFP!!!

Actually, I'd also really like to hear of some BFPs from all you testing today. Please update us all!
