Struck out this month...anyone care to join me on the June 2012 bus?

OP posts:
TheCake · 04/10/2011 17:55

Discolite she's not here yet thank god so hopefully normal cycle this month. Gutting to see so many people are out, we definitely need s

Discolite · 04/10/2011 17:43

Hi the Cake! Hope AF is still holding off. I've just counted up and I've had lower abdominal cramps of one sort or the other for 21 days now so I'm not getting too excited by their appearance any more! I really don't think I can read anything into it now as it is getting to be my default state.

Ilanthe, have you managed not to test?

Rusulka, I have bought some Vicks First Defence, I don't want another cold! Even if it doesn't work, I will view it as £6 well spent as some sort of weird totemic device to keep the viruses at bay. I'm pretty sure it was my cold last week that buggered up my ovulation. Excitingly though (well, for me at any rate) it looks like I may have another bite of the cherry as I got a positive OPK...on CD 30! Still, better late than never. Here's hoping your temperatures stay up. I'm hoping for my second (but hopefully permanent) temperature shift tomorrow.

Bye bye to all those leaving the bus, hope you have better luck next cycle.

Mama5isalive · 04/10/2011 16:52

rubia - no july bus, but a plane short haul to BFP only!!!!!
sorry for all who have been bumped off by the flippin hag! or just aint feeling pregnant its never over until the hag turns up!!!!!!

Readynow · 04/10/2011 14:44

Not feeling very hopeful :( Am expecting AF on the 9th & I am already getting cramping that I usually get before AF!

rubia · 04/10/2011 14:29

I'm off at the next stop too. After two 25 day cycles I went to 30- cue lots of POAS to no avail.....

good luck to all and I'll be watching for the July bus coming my way.

grinningbee · 04/10/2011 12:24

I'm off the bus Sad

Hopefully some of you will be lucky - if not, see you over in July!

LydiaTheTattoedLady · 03/10/2011 20:30

Hello Hello Sassymay. Best of luck! I too am not added to the list.

Only 'symptom' is basic cramping, low level (sometimes I'm not sure it's there but then it increases slightly in intensity) and seems to be around most of the time. But then again I kind of think I might just be imagining it. Oh yes. Sore boobs have made ther appearance.

I don't think I get these usually. But then again I've never been so focused on my physical state of being.

Sick of this now really. One week of obsessing is enough.

Testing, testing...

I have a horrible sore throat. Either I inhaled too much mud gardening over the weekend, or I've caught what everyone else at work had last week (go conception vits for holding it off!)

I'm at 8DPO now and my temps are all over the place- up down up down! Bloody hot weather making my stuff go crazy. Fingers crossed for a triphasic shift...

Ilanthe · 03/10/2011 18:11

Ooops that wasn't meant to be a double negative Grin - a Freudian slip, perhaps?

Ilanthe · 03/10/2011 18:10

More super symptom spotting from me today. A little bit of pink and red spotting and cramps like very mild period pains. It is either a) my period, a week early, b) my cervical erosion playing up or c) an implantation bleed (possible, I'm about 9DPO).

Still not testing till Sunday though. Even though I got a BFP at 9DPO last time. Definitely not not testing.

TheCake · 03/10/2011 18:07

Just to point out - I am not saying anyone on here is weird - just pointing our my own spelling mistake!

TheCake · 03/10/2011 18:06

weird

TheCake · 03/10/2011 18:05

Discolite I'm having the same wierd cramps in the middle - it does not hurt - but feels like someone is prodding me. I really hope AF is not making an early appearance again this month - for some reason my cycle was only 25 days last month when it is usuallly 28/29 one month and 32/33 the next (I should be due a longer cycle this month). Well I suppose I will find out one way or the other!

sassymay · 03/10/2011 04:17

Hi, have just added myself to list as second half of 2ww seems to be
giving me insomnia this time round. And where better to be at 4am than
on the June 2012 NightBus. (The ones I used to get in London were full of drunks including me but that was long, long ago.) My DD aged 3 tried to force a jar of baby food into the shopping basket last week because is convinced I am growing a baby. Fingers crossed. Here's to a bumper crop of BFPs. :):)

The only symptoms with me are cramps on my left hand side, and a weird cramp that was right in the middle (I'm guessing my uterus!). But then again, my temperatures have been up and down all over the place, so still not convinced I have actually ovulated.

Still, messing about and putting imaginary low future temperatures into Fertility Friend is quite entertaining. It is, honest! If I have another low temperature it drops my coverline by 0.1 degree celsius and makes it all dotty, i.e. it's not convinced either. If I haven't ovulated I hope today's beach barbeque and swim (in October!) helped convince the egg that I was properly unstressed and over my cold.

Rusulka · 01/10/2011 14:12

TheCake I think you'll be ok. FF always puts my ov at either 1 or 2 days after positive POAOS, so I would say Thursday was ideal timing. The only reason you'd want to have sperm flying up there on the day of ov is so you would have a better chance of having a boy. Boy sperm fly up there really quick, but die off sooner, and girl sperm are slower, stronger, and last longer. Apparently.

No symptoms here, apart from the chlorine smelling v. strong as mentioned in an earlier post. Too early to be significant though. Oh, I also had sore nipples for a few hours one evening this past week, but I suspect it was because I had taken my bra off to give the girls a rest.

TheCake · 01/10/2011 14:10

Thanks anyway MaccyH I've been ttc since jan and I still feel a bit clueless! Hope your cramps are implantation and your uterus stretching!

MaccyH · 01/10/2011 14:06

Congrats online friend! You have given me a ray of hope during my 2ww as was thinking I had no symptoms at all but have been getting mild cramps for last week or so and AF not due for another few days. So all may not be lost just yet...although going off wine has definitely not happened to me, in fact sunshine is just encouraging cravings!!
Enjoy the weekend everyone, can't be too long for the rest of us waiting on the June bus to find out whether we can join the other Olympic gold medallists or need to transfer to the July bus.
The Cake - sorry do not know enough about the specifics of ewcm to comment on your last post as this is only my 2nd month of TTC#1 but hope one of the more experienced passengers can help you.

TheCake · 01/10/2011 13:52

Oh bugger. Plans to SWI busted after brother in law who is staying over woke us up with a cup of tea- DH then got up to watch th rugby and they went straight out to the match and are going out drinking straight after! I was thinking today would be my optimal time as well. What do people think? I dtd Tuesday- had ewcm, had loads of ewcm on Wednesday, had a positive opk on Thursday morning at 6:30 had quite a bit ewcm during the day and dtd Thursday night at 10 o'clock ish. Wanted one last SWI this morning, have had a tiny bit ewcm yesterday and today but not much- nothing like the massive 10cmish long stretchy stuff I had on wed and Thursday. DH does not know the ins and outs of my fertility as it is off-putting for him- I tend to just take the lead, but did not have the chance this morning- is it all over for me? What do people think?

Prunella79 · 01/10/2011 13:01

other people's symptoms seem so much more real - especially not having symptoms at all icooksocks - i'm regularly reading it was when there was nothing to report that the BFP arrived. and sweetpb nausea and tender nipples sound like proper symptoms rather than my kind of made up ones.

especially obsessed at the moment as by best friend gave birth to a perfect little boy on thursday, trying to pretend i'm not racked with jealousy. Envy

icooksocks · 01/10/2011 12:11

I have no symptoms at all, nothing, nada Confused
AF due on the 5th October, i still just feel like me. I'm not feeling it at all this month.
I didnt want another June baby anyway-july is so much better for me Grin (ds1 is a june baby)

sweetpb · 01/10/2011 11:43

Oh and really really tired but think thats just to long shifts at work and a crappy cold!

P x

sweetpb · 01/10/2011 11:43

Prunella79 - ok i will indulge,

  • two days running complete nausea and feint (sp) feeling from about 9.30-11, today just a bit of nausea but no heat at work to contend with.

-started today - tender nipples!!

always pee a lot anyway so no change there! not a boat load of symptoms and i am sure the nausea is mainly due to the heat at work along with the etformin tablets :(

cycle day 30 today, will try and hold out to next weekend to test :( (again!)

Px

Prunella79 · 01/10/2011 11:20

presumably everyone left on this bus will by now be in the dreaded 2ww. currently i'm spending way too much time trawling old threads for other people who've mentioned similar symptoms which have turned up a BFP. I'd think i was odd, obsessed, crazy if i weren't sure everyone else on here'll be doing similar.

so my list so far and growing crazier by the hour is:

  • constantly erect nipples
  • indigestion
  • tiredness
  • peeing loads
  • bloated
  • taste/smell that's like blood
  • numerous aches and pains in the abdomen but then surely that's just my usual IBS??
  • and the craziest one of all - super soft hair all of a sudden

what are yours? indulge yourself by letting them out...
