Struck out this month...anyone care to join me on the June 2012 bus?

OP posts:
MrsGrumpWantsABump · 26/08/2011 14:25

mrsmellow, sounds lovely, hope you have a good time! Wink

cheekycurls, cheers! Smile Might have a sneaky G&T myself tonight.

welliesandpyjamas, step away from the pg test! Them sticks are a nightmare, aren't they? (Uhm...I just stocked up.) Blush

I'm sure DH is dreading coming home as the past few days I've been ready to jump him as soon as he gets in through the door. Just a few more days and then he can have a breather. Grin

Have a fab weekend everyone!

welliesandpyjamas · 26/08/2011 14:11

Oh today and I just know it will turn up too...as do the rest of my family! Have been particularly grouchy this week!

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 14:09

ooh when is AF due wellies? (sorry if stated on the list, don't remember every ones name)

I do love a BFP story Grin

welliesandpyjamas · 26/08/2011 14:06

Just bought a 99p preg test way before I need it just to keep handy in the house. You know. Lordy, the famous obsession has started. Grin

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 14:05

update: muffins. are. amazing!! Grin although a little hot, clearly couldn't contain myself!!! Blush

Sn0wGoose · 26/08/2011 13:42

Mmmmmmmm muuuuuuffins... :d

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 13:24

oooh mrsmellow fancy hotel, expensive sheets is just a must for SWI!!! go for it Grin

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 13:20

has a bottle of JD with my name all over it! (I'm a Jack whore!) Wink I've held off from drinking as I was so sure 'this was THE month' but bloating, achy back and legs tell me other wise! have a few birthdays this weekend and I've decided I'm gonna make the most of them! Will update the stats when evil AF makes her appearance, but safe to say i'll be on this bus with imaginary symptoms before u know it!! Who would have thought getting preggers would be so bloody hard!! Shock
but be warned I am the worst at symptom spotting and poas so I'll probably drive u all crazy with my ttc crazyness!!! Grin Blush

now just need to change this >>>>> Wine into a lovely cold, tall glass of JD & coke, and i'm currently baking a batch of double chocolate muffins (AF craving) that will obviously be shared amongst u fine ladies Grin

mrsmellow · 26/08/2011 12:12

Bad luck ladies, have some Wine and chocolate.
We're going away to fancy hotel for the weekend, so will try SWI and DS on expensive sheets .... all in the name of mumsnet, honest Wink
It's a bit early (CD9, CD10) - but no harm in practising! DH is very pleased about the frequency and suggested style of SWI...

louloubellamozzarella · 26/08/2011 10:33

*DS = doggy style - wouldn't want to get mixed up with the other DS!!

louloubellamozzarella · 26/08/2011 10:32

Sorry to hear that Kinky and Dial. Big hate sent out to your period (or lack of) and spot, respectively. GRR feck feck feck (sorry just living up to my strapline there).

Nil to report this morning from me. Had some pinkish thin CM a couple of days ago which I thought was AF arriving. Seems it was not. No other symptoms except I am bloated like a puffer fish. Is that an ov sign??

Tried out the position du choix of this forum last night and may continue to do so if it's as effective as claimed! TBH it doesn't really do anything for me, so it's pretty selfish SWI going on - me first, then DP Blush who is loving my insistence on the DS.

DialMforMummy · 26/08/2011 09:52

Well POAS this morning. BFN. Not that surprised as big fat spot appeared on chin. Oh well. Next time.

KinkyDorito · 26/08/2011 09:48

DH may avoid coming home tonight for fear of angering me.

KinkyDorito · 26/08/2011 09:47

AF 2 days late. Am pissed off, and when added to ongoing PMS symptoms, that makes me one angry bunny. Grrr. I look like this: Angry

welliesandpyjamas · 25/08/2011 22:44

welliesandpyjamas · 25/08/2011 21:40

Chocolate that puppy story was gooooood - very funny! It was even funnier when I misread it to be about your dd though Grin Me and my skim-reading!

sweetpb · 25/08/2011 21:06

Hi x so my CD is currently 32, have to see the consultant on the 31st, not sure whats going to happen there as it doesnt say anything on the letter! I dont take temeratures or do ovulation sticks although may need to start as i never have any idea when i ovulate so its just swi 3 times a week! (trying to convince hubby to up that ;) maybe the pre seed will help?)

have bought a cheap pack of tests from the pound shop to test on the day that i go to see consultant just in case ;) even though i still wont be expecting AF for another week x

good luck all x x x

desperateoldie67 · 25/08/2011 20:40

I have it in sub-lingual form: Here you go. They dissolve under the tongue like homeopathic remedies do, so not so many tablets to take. And they come in high strength, which is great for me as I need to take around 4000-5000mg daily. If I had to take all those as tablets I swallowed, I'd never take it.

I have a terrible gag reflex... :o

OP posts:
princessesmummy · 25/08/2011 19:11

taking it with breakfast when possible. Just wish it came in liquid form, might look it up? anyone taken it in liquid form?

lots of chocolate for DO67-when you feel better :)

Sn0wGoose · 25/08/2011 17:06

Good luck grumpy, it's addictive! DH now asks me how my BT was each morning ha ha

Princess are you taking it on an empty stomach? I bring my pregnacare straight back up if I don't take it with food.

grinningbee · 25/08/2011 16:49

Good luck DialM.

I will test again at the weekend. Not holding out any hope though...

desperateoldie67 · 25/08/2011 16:47

Yup princess, I take SHIT loads of folic acid - being that I'm crazy, I have to take extra - so it's 4000mg per day for me! Eeeek! Maybe that's what's making me feeling sick, but I don't really think so. I just think I have a tummy bug - niiiice :(

Come ON for our first BFP on this thread...we're counting on you DialM (so no pressure then :o)

OP posts:
princessesmummy · 25/08/2011 16:28

Fingers crossed for our first BFP.
Is everyone taking folic acid then? Its making me feel very sick.

trilottie · 25/08/2011 15:55

Oooh fingers crossed for you DialM! Would be a fantastic start to this thread.

MrsGrumpWantsABump · 25/08/2011 15:12

Thanks desperateoldie67 and Sn0wGoose, a new BT has been ordered (good value for money and I'm getting more OPKs to obsess about, yay) so I can't blame wacky charts on the thermometer next month. I may have slipped (no pun intended) some pre-seed in my basket as well as OV should be in the cards for the weekend. Grin

Keeping my fingers crossed for DialMforMummy. Smile
