Eurgh sweetpb that was early! Sorry to hear you're struggling to sleep - it's awful isn't it.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Hi guys, thought i would pop in, its 4:50am and i cant sleep :( still wondering what will happen with consultant next week - and slightly gutted, out of my 3 best friends..... all 3 are now pregnant :( one is 6 months, been trying 3 yrs, one 9 weeks been trying same length as me and hubby and the other one found out on this week - caught first month around Envy so i am sat here with a cuppa Brew watcing the last ep of season one of damages. Another close friend just given birth, and another going for their 'implantation' next week, really have my fingers crossed for them. We said if that works for them and I manage to get Pg this month we should go in the local papers lol.

anyway - positive vibes back!!
P x

Ah, rotten luck oh Kinky one. No chocolate??? I ate enough at work this afternoon to actually make myself feel sick....bad, yes? No? Not good for the diet though :o Ah, who gives a flying fuck at the moment!

It'll have to be feckin' virtual JD thanks to robbing housemate [fume]. Sorry, I've not quite let that one go yet...

One more sleep until I see DP. Can't wait :)

OP posts:
DialMforMummy · 26/08/2011 20:23

Sorry Dorito

KinkyDorito · 26/08/2011 20:23

desperate virtual JD all around I think.

KinkyDorito · 26/08/2011 20:20

Well, AF is finally here. CD1 for me. Still disappointing, even though expected.

And, to make matters far, far worse, there is no chocolate in the house.

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 19:58

It's ok, she's got MUCH bigger boobs than me, so she wouldn't fit in them!

I have to say that I'm a little hopeful their tent gets flooded - is that mean spirited of me?

OP posts:
DialMforMummy · 26/08/2011 19:46

I'd hide the undies.
Housemate could be sipping your JD in your bra and knickers while counting your dosh.... Wink

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 19:37

Don't worry...I absolutely CAN NOT afford to say diet schmiet!

Pissed off. Got home to find housemate had taken what was left of my bottle of JD to the festival with her "to save on beer tent costs" for her and her boyfriend. I'm feckin' incandescent!

I wouldn't have minded so much if I hadn't asked her to look after £500 of mine last year before I moved up here which I moved up here to find she'd spent, without my knowledge, and then couldn't afford to pay me back! I sometimes can't quite believe we're still friends, and, if I could afford to move out and get a place of my own, I don't think we would be. Angry

It may seem trivial being this cross about a quarter of a bottle of JD, but after the above incident, it's one in a line (there have been others - e.g. being absolutely FOUL to Mr Desperate and I when we first started seeing each other because she was single and jealous of me/us). Flippin' 'eck...

...and breathe...

On the plus side, despite not being allowed to ttc just at the moment, I still like this bus :)

And I bought some utterly frivolous undies with which to give Mr Desperate a hard on heart attack this weekend! WinkBlush:o

AF arrived super early CD21 (first proper cycle in 15 years so it was bound to be crazy) just in time to spoil a perfectly good bank holiday weekend and put the cherry on top of a shit week.
Nonetheless a great opportunity has arisen to join the bus of filth, hoorah.
Wine bottoms up...quite literally by the sounds of it Wink

grinningbee · 26/08/2011 17:10

I'll def give it a bit longer. Hate going to the docs! I'm 40 so hopefully still too young for any menopause silliness.

I'd love to say diet schmiet Wink. Doing ok though, and have lost 35 pounds in 13 weeks.

So on to the next pondering thought. Wonder how many bfn's you can have but still be pg Grin

Right. It's after 5pm. Where's the sauciness?

Sn0wGoose · 26/08/2011 16:40

I had that last cycle -- PMS symptoms for about 3-4 days before my AF was due, as per normal, then another 4 days of PMS while my body farted around deciding whether or not it was actually going to let me have an AF at all Hmm. Personally I wouldn't worry until it'd been 2+ weeks?

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 16:16

cue someone with more knowledge .......

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 16:16

sorry that sounded bad, but from what i've read/heard is that if ur over 35, weird AF is best to be checked out by dr, I might be wrong.....cue someone with more knowledge......

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 16:13

Diet schmiet! love it! Grin

geinning? sorry I don't know hold old u are but if ur anything like me (round the dr's every 5 mins!! Blush hopefully someone here can give u some advice :)

right well I'm off to a party and to make a decent dent in my bottle of JD

happy poas, swi and all round naughtyness ;)

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 15:53

Diet schmiet! :o

OP posts:
grinningbee · 26/08/2011 15:53

Actually, before we degenerate into Friday night filth Wink just how long should I leave it before going to the gp? I've been having pms symptoms for about 10 days now. Would they just laugh me away?

I really hope it's nothing menopause related....

Right. Back to naughtiness again please! Grin

grinningbee · 26/08/2011 15:44

Someone has more restraint than me! I had 2 double packs of tests, did those, then bought another, did those, bought another and have managed to keep one for more than 24 hours. Woohoo! And that's just in the last couple of weeks (I started testing way to early in the cycle, lol).

Day 35.

Still no AF.

I will test again tomorrow. Luckily we are going into town in the morning and I can stock up in poundworld with lots more cheapies!

They also sell boxes of maltesers for a pound, but I am on a diet. Boo.

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 15:42

This thread is bloomin' filth! :o Me likey :)

OP posts:
cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 15:27

cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 15:27

defiantly demand DP to mount ask DP to try a bit of the doggy Blush
hey if it works!!! Grin

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 15:15

Bwhahahaha...all this talk of DS (woof) is making me giggle! I can feel a set of frivolous knickers coming on (and then rapidly coming off again, obviously) for tomorrow evening when I see Mr Desperate...who, hopefully, after nearly 2 weeks of not seeing each other will hopefully be...errr...desperate! :o

I know I bloody am, but then I always am! I think I may get a bottle of wine on the way home, although I do still have some Uncle Jack Daniels in the cupboard... :)

And REALLY wellies...you're going to keep the other one for next month? Not if AF still doesn't make an appearance you won't LMAO :o

OP posts:
cheekycurls · 26/08/2011 14:59

oh I hate that, AF always hides till u test then shows up!! grrrr

fingers crossed this is not the case for u :)

welliesandpyjamas · 26/08/2011 14:55

Thing is, since it's a two-pack , you just know that I'll be trying one out in the morning if AF is a little late (not exactly unusual, either!). Then the other one I can keep for next month...
