green I'm not scared at the thought of being pregnant, it was the BFN and AF showing up it totally devastates me. I was also stressing way too much during the 2ww. It has helped me so much by having this wee break.

I hope you move into your house very soon and have a wee baby to fill the bedrooms!

greenzebra · 12/09/2011 08:28

angel good luck in the scan Im sure it will be fine. Whar a tough life we have to lead.

jane I thought about taking a break this month as I had a bit of a break down on the friday, and DH and I discussed how scared we are. But we are back on the swi no positive ov test yet but expecting either tuesday of wednesday.

I am so chuffed that I will be moving in soon, I cant wait! I am hoping that this is the start of new beginnings and maybe this is the month where all our hopes and dreams are realised. But DH has told me Im not aloud to stress about it as it doesnt help in the ttc.

blue mel how much longer are you going to wait?

janedoe25 · 12/09/2011 07:25

how exciting angel! In no time at all you will have gils snuggling into your arms.

too Im ok, took a break from ttc this month i really needed it as I was stressing way too much! AF is due end of the week and I'm raring to get back into the saddle! Only 10 weeks left till the wedding eek!
How are you?

AngelGeorgie · 12/09/2011 07:00

Thanks Too . no , no more sleep. Really odd vivid dreams!!! Won t miss this part of pregnancy and 3 visits to the loo!!! Scan time again ; hate them!!! Been counting; it s my 9th scan this pregnancy!!! Only today and 1 more to get through!!!
Have a good day everyone xx

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 11/09/2011 21:45

Mel and Blue, after all this waiting, I'm almost sure you are both going to produce BFPs in a few days! Do either of you know when/if you ovulated? Any interesting symptoms to report?

Dachs and Angel, hope you manage to get a bit more sleep over the next few days. Angel especially will be needing it soon!

Jane, how are you doing? When is the wedding? How is all the prep going?

janedoe25 · 11/09/2011 13:44

blue and mel fingers are still firmly crossed for you both!

green yay, for the house!

AngelGeorgie · 11/09/2011 13:08

Dachs totally with you!!! I m so tired but , now, so uncomfortable on bed. Last night didn t get to sleep to 1 ish then awake at 7 again. Too early for a weekend when I want a lie in. Done some jobs off fir a siesta nowWink
Mel. and blue it's very frustrating at times Isn t it? I remember, think was January this year not ovulating and having a long cycle for me because of my age I was panicinig my body was very slowly heading towards the menopause or it was stress causing the blip. ( I had just turned 40 then!!!) but, was fine in the end. Sure you ll both be back in sych soon. Xx
Hope everyone's having a nice weekend. Weathers great here considering was suppose to be awful!!! Xxx

DiffedAgainDachs · 11/09/2011 11:16

blue and mel Sorry your bodies are being crap. I hope they sort themselves out soon xxxxxxxxxxx

cheese Yay for DH's platelet levels. I hope they continue to improve :)

green Good that the housing is getting sorted - do you have a date yet? V exciting xxxx Grin

I hope you are all having good weekends. I'm not having a very productive weekend, but that's good! Am v tired at the moment - I don't seem to get morning sickness but I do get really really really tired, and I'm one of those people where the more tired I am, the harder I find it to sleep.

MelMal · 11/09/2011 10:28

Haven't got a clue Blue. It's been 32 days since my op so we kind of thought that we could try and base times on that. We didn't bother about ov tests this month as I didn't have a clue where I'd be in my cycle. Body just sort yourself out!

Bluetinkerbell · 11/09/2011 09:59

On which cycle day are you now Mel ? I'm on CD 39...
See I might have ovulated late and therefore still in 2ww, if only I knew! It's a waiting game now...

Blue snap. I was about to scream ffs hurry up and come af. But then thought at 6.45 it wasn't the best. It makes you feel so down because it's neither one thing nor the other! Getting organised for busy day too. Church, family visiting and then work x

Bluetinkerbell · 11/09/2011 09:09

well just a quick one, lots to do before we're off to church later.
Tested again this morning, BFN again. Really had enough of it now, AF better show up soon, so I can start charting the next cycle, and try out my ov sticks properly!

enjoy your Sunday all! x

Cheese, yay for your DH's platelet levels! Hurray! Not so good that he still feels ill, though. Hope he's much better by Tues and his tests are all ok. Also not so good about your blood glucose levels. Sad I don't know much about gestational diabetes, but at least if that's what it is then it's been diagnosed early and your MW and consultant will be able to stay on top of it.

Green, have you a date for moving yet? Hope you're feeling a bit brighter today.

Mel, boo to thrush getting in the way of ttc! I seem to have heard that you need to treat DH as well or he can pass it back to you - nurses, is that true?

I slept in until nearly 12 this morning, which I haven't done in ages! Mind you, I didn't go to sleep til after 1 because DH chose the moment right after turning the light off to tell me that someone in my team at work has walked out (I have been on holiday so have missed all this). I got all excited and worried and wide awake, and then DH fell asleep mid-sentence! I had to turn the light back on and read for a bit to calm down.

Ugh, my fingers are puffy intermittently already. Yuck. They seem to swell up when I'm hot, but I'm sure they didn't do it this early before!

Bluetinkerbell · 10/09/2011 11:38

I enjoyed a nice lie in this morning as well! Now relaxing on the sofa watching Cbeebies with DD and cuddling! Love it! Might go out this afternoon.
I've been suffering pain in my left hip for a few weeks now, DH keeps saying I need to go to the doctor with it, but I keep forgetting. Will have to be a task for Monday now though.

I'm working this weekend so I need to wait until wed before my weekend starts Sad
Hope everyone has a good weekend and that we all make it through drama free Wink

AngelGeorgie · 10/09/2011 08:50

Hi cheese enjoy!! X only up once last night and glorious lie in. I LOVE weekends!! So all good x

CheeseandGherkins · 10/09/2011 08:29

Morning, off to take ds1 to his football match this morning, lovely miserable weather for it!

Mel wish I knew, sorry, hope you feel better soon though.

Angel hope last night wasn't the 3 times again! I woke twice in the night but for no apparent reason Confused

AngelGeorgie · 10/09/2011 00:14

Clotrimazole pessaries. Don t take oral fluconazole if ttc or pregnant. When using the pessary don t use the applicator. This is what we prescribe. X

MelMal · 09/09/2011 21:38

Not a long post, but hi to all. Quick question ladies, best treatment for thrush when ttc? Not had it in about 10 years but it's reared it's ugly head today. Angry Any suggestions?

AngelGeorgie · 09/09/2011 21:04

Just had a thought : Razz do you give the HPV vaccine? ( Gardasil) we sometimes get enquiries about it?

AngelGeorgie · 09/09/2011 21:02

Razz that would be really good to set up a nurse led FPC along side you re other clinics.x
Cheese I getting up to pee at least 3 x a night!!! It's so tiring. At least can have a lie in tomorrow. X glad DH is doing better.

CheeseandGherkins · 09/09/2011 20:41

Dh's platelet levels have risen again! :o But he's feeling pretty awful so they've done some more tests which should be back by the time of his next appt on Tues. I have my blood glucose testing kit now, it's not too bad but I'm still nervous about it even after using it 3 times and it not really hurting just a little sting. My numbers have been over the limit they gave me so far, sigh. Not sure what that will mean but I wasn't expecting it this early on. Have to see how I get on.

Angel I remember having to get up lots in the night, hopefully will have that to come.

Ciwi maybe because this is my 11th pregnancy, 6 mcs, 3 dcs and Scarlett plus this pregnancy and so I feel movement earlier? I remember dh feeling the movement from the outside from earlyish last time too, about 17/18 weeks I think?

Too I'm always spilling things down me too, usually when I'm trying to drink water. Glad they managed to fix your tank.

green brilliant news about your flat! :) Sorry that work is so bad though.

razz your job sounds really interesting and rewarding :)

razzdazz · 09/09/2011 18:37

angel, you are quite right, my new job is very different......mainly sports injuries and vaccinations for all of the exotic holidays they get to go on Envy. I do still get to dish out emergency contraception and the gp tied to the school has said he will look into maybe starting a nurse led family planning clinic which would be great for allowing me to keep up my skills. At some point I am going to have to tell them about my own family planning situation which I dont imagine they will be so enthusiastic about Hmm

AngelGeorgie · 09/09/2011 17:40

Ciwi glad you like your new job. Must be incredibly challenging?
Too glad you'd. " tank" is sorted. Hope all smells nicer now?
Razz I was on the family planning course last year before I found I was pg but pulled out of it( so to speak!!!). That course is the 1 course I ve not done and would love to. Your new job is a little different Isn t it? Glad you re liking it. We only prescribe emergency contraception but I would like to ve able to pescribe all forms of contraception. Lots of our young girls ask for it when they come along for screening.
green yeh for new place
Hope everyone else is well. Yeh it's Friday ; lovely lie in tomorrow. We ve a few jobs to do ; tidy the garden, paint the shed and resting. Only 2 weeks to go then AL bring it on!!! ( actually 9 days as away at Thoresby Hall 2 weeks today can t wait)
Love to all xxx

ciwi · 09/09/2011 15:38

Hi everyone,
too I started going for acupuncture for my thyroid and because I felt generally rubbish and out of sync iykwim. She now mostly treats me to prevent miscarriage and to help keep me calm and my blood pressure nice and low. Blush over the tampons but as razz said, you won't have that problem for a while x
angel I am in paediatrics, just started a new job looking after children with complex needs for respite in a community setting - I love it.
green sorry your job is so crap, fx you get a new one soon. yay for the flat though!
Hi to everyone else x
