I am so knackered! Yesterday I was so tired at work coldnt stop yawning, when I got hope had a eye strain migraine and had to go to bed so Ive slept like 10 hours! Stil dont feel right this morning. I was quite surprised yesterday a lady from work was asking about Ophelia and she asked to see the picture of her I wear in a locket around my neck. I dont mind showing everyone but I was surprised as she is the first person to ask.

janedoe25 · 22/09/2011 20:43

Bluetinkerbell · 22/09/2011 20:37

Sooo tired and feel a bit rough...

Dachs so glad all is ok, you must be so relieved!

angel enjoy your lie in Wink

August hugs dear! I'm being confronted with 2 pregnant friends all the time, so I know how it feels! I should have been bigger than them by now, instead I'm thinking about what to put on my baby's grave instead of getting everything ready for her to be born :(

shakey I hope you get your care sorted! It is such a shame we have to do it all ourselves and that they aren't better at organising it properly so we can be at ease with it after what we've all been through!

Hi everyone else

Dachs that's fab news. Am so pleased that everything went well with the scan and that you have a good consultant. That'll hopefully make things easier. Out on nightshift soon so away to grab an hours kip. Hi to all of you xx

AugustMoon · 22/09/2011 18:55

shakeyjake :)

I just got Ed Shearan's album in the post from my bf in Spain, literally this afternoon. I had already downloaded the "A-team" song having heard it on the radio but I haven't heard "small bump", not sure if that's why she sent it. Will have a listen now.

AugustMoon · 22/09/2011 18:45

Hi guys, Angel I find I'm doing the "keeping busy" route at the moment and I'm not even pg - also love the mantras, razz you will remain strong enough, thanks for the honesty, I thought it might feel as you described. Cheese you are overdue some good luck - things sound like they are really tough - you deserve to feel happy about your pregnancy although I understand how hard it must be. I saw my pg friend today. She's due in 12 days. We had lunch, with another friend who's not pregnant and before she left we, very quickly, went through some of Jacob's baby clothes and just put a load of stuff, neutral stuff - vests and muslins, nappies, a couple of blankets and the breast-pump - in a bag for her. I still have lots of things, she doesn't know whether she's having a boy or a girl and so didn't take any "boy" stuff. Initially I felt fine about it, even a bit of relief just because there's less here to contend with but then I suddenly burst into tears a minute ago with a pair of socks in my hand. Sometimes feel so lost.
Too I can imagine I might also feel a bit calmer if I were to be pregnant, I still don't know if losing Jacob means I can't get pregnant again, hope and pray that I can.
DH home from work now so will be back in a bit, sorry, not had a chance to fully catch up with all the posts.

DiffedAgainDachs · 22/09/2011 18:41

So relieved!

Baby measuring fine for dates, looks nice and healthy. Looks like bleeding was from the cervix, well away from where bean has decided to implant.

Doc not worried about cramping now he's seen the baby and established where the bleeding was from. :) Still seeing me every week though, so I get another sneaky peek next Thursday.

We talked about the twins and my fears and he said that this pg looks fine so far, is much lower risk as it's not a twin pg and he's going to monitor me as closely as he needs to for me to feel better. He really seems to care about getting me a baby this time, and he gave me a great big hug :)

So it's a much better day than I thought it was going to be when I got up this morning!

(It's a shame the baby looks like an alien on the scan pic - it must take after its father...)

Mama5isalive · 22/09/2011 18:39

Thanks Too & AngelGeorgie
ohhh time is getting closer , not long now!
Diffeddaff- ohhh im so sorry for what you going through - Big hug! all will be well!
Green - Big hug too you missing a loved one is really hard!
Shakeyjake - could you asked for a closer scan surely they should understand!
seeing baby twice should be good more pictures!( if hospital aint too far)
Cheese - yeh still have not tested, so dont want to get a BFN!!! so just avoiding it! now thinking got dates wrong although i counted loads of times maybe cycle has changed! Wow your nearly 15 weeks thats great!

Its so nuts that hospitals dont have more of a understanding your concern policy and give scans just so your not worried!!!!! which cant be good either!

AngelGeorgie · 22/09/2011 17:34

Dachs hope u re ok?
Ciwi was told " don t pay for anything now when you get it for free" which us a novelty I must admit after always paying for everything!!
Shakey wow 18 weeks. Hope you get your appointments sorted. Not started mat leave yet just AL. Never the less is a lovely thought a week of now!!
Hope everyone else is ok??? Xxx thank god to have finished so tired, will be lush to have a lie in tomorrow xxx

janedoe25 · 22/09/2011 14:31

Forgot to say dachs I have everything crossed for you. I really hope you are ok .

CheeseandGherkins · 22/09/2011 14:05

Afternoon. My head is killing me today, really throbbing. Held out as long as I could and then took some paracetemol but it's not helped that much, might be another migraine. I've never had them before I got pregnant this time but seem to be getting them fairly often now. I'm still finding the injecting quite difficult, it can be quite painful at times so it take me a while to actually push it in every time. My sugar levels have been up higher today which is odd, I need to call my numbers in but called yesterday and didn't get a call back. Think I might have called the wrong answerphone Confused.

ciwi That's good about the results. My next scan isn't until 20 weeks, I'm wondering if I should ask for one before then. I feel ok with things at the moment but I know that can change and it's probably down to me not really connecting yet, if that makes sense.

Too I thought it would help once I felt movements but it hasn't so far, which surprised me. Maybe when I feel proper kicks? I feel more than flutters now but nothing regular as such. Definitely every day and a good few times but no pattern. It's really difficult. I think it must be normal to feel this way though, at least I hope so! Your bank sounds a pain! Congrats on 12 weeks :) I can't believe I'll be 15 weeks on Sat, I can barely believe I'm pregnant still. I'm sure I felt so different last time at this stage, sometimes I wish I could have that naivety back. I feel so negative all the time.

I buy the asprin myself, I have to cut them up though as I can't swallow tablets.

Mama Are you still holding out from poas?

green Yep signed up a while back. Hope you're ok today what with it being your grandad's birthday. I feel the same about my nan, she died when I was 15 of cancer (she was only 65 I think) and she said she always wanted to see me grown up and with children. I just hope she can see me now and is looking after Scarlett for me.

Dachs hugs, that must have been a hard day. How are you feeling now with the cramping? I hope things are ok, have you had your scan yet? Fingers crossed for you xx

shakey Can you be seen or have a scan sooner? Surely they must understand how hard this time will be for you? (hugs) xx

janedoe25 · 22/09/2011 13:05

shakey thats crap! I listened to the song, it is so sad i cried too.

greenzebra · 22/09/2011 12:40

shakey that is rubbish, what kind of a reasurence scan is that if its 2 days before the 20 week scan. Im going to look out for that song.

shakeyjake · 22/09/2011 11:37

hi girls

wow i am rubbish at keeping up and posting Blush

august hi and welcome and again sorry to find you here, sorry for your loss jacob is a lovely name and 1 we are considering for this baba if a boy.

dachs good luck for your scan today, dont worry about posting on here when you are feeling down, graces due date was hard and i am now at nearly week 18 where dr's told me was when she died, so i am feeling very nervous now.

angel wow last day woohoo you will soon have that little bundle of joy :-)

too 12 wekks yay!

waves to everyone else.

fed up at the moment of chasing everything, was finally told yes i would get my reassurance scan between 16-18 weeks and to call if appt hasnt arrived, so i call them they tell me they have to speak to the consultant AGAIN before arranging this. i finally get the appt through the post and its for the 11/10 which is 2 days before my 20 week scan! not really worth going for it!

i bought the Ed Shearan album and there is a song on it called small bump - lol my dh must of thought i was crazy when he came back from work as it made me cry, beautiful song about stillbirth, i think it just took me by suprise as didnt know it was about that till i heard it.

greenzebra · 22/09/2011 10:08

having a reflective day today its my dear grandads birthday today, he died two years ago in November. He was a great Grandad and I miss him alot, its made me think of Ophelia and how they were never to meet. How sad I remember thinking how I wanted my grandad to meet his great grandchildren and that will never happen. How sad.

greenzebra · 22/09/2011 08:42

dachs yeah glad to see, saturday must have been very hard to deal with ((((((hugs)))))) I hope your scan goes well.

I should be working! Ooops oh well I just dont care!!! lol Grin

DiffedAgainDachs · 22/09/2011 08:31

You guys talk a lot! It was the twins due date on Saturday so I've been a bit miserable and have had lots of bleeding and cramps so I've been hiding. Seeing my doc later today and having a scan, so hopefully I'll find out either way. This being pg again after losing my babies is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

angel Enjoy your last day at work before AL :) xxx

mel Good news re: reduced dose. FX you have good news soon :) xxx

green I don't have any SANDS stuff - I also found it too hard to go there when I lost Alexander and Felicia, and I haven't been back since. The wristband sounds like a lovely idea :) xxx

ciwi Yay for good blood results. xxx

too Big yay for reaching 12 weeks :) I am 8+3 today and 12 seems a long way away still! I hope the bank stop dicking you around and things get sorted soon :) xxx

I'm honestly going to try to stop being so crap at posting - I've just found it really hard to feel positive about anything lately and I didn't want to keep being gloomy at you all!

greenzebra · 22/09/2011 08:25

Have you girls signed up for the Why 17 campaign on Sands?

www.why17.org/

ciwi · 21/09/2011 22:19

AngelGeorgie · 21/09/2011 21:25

Good to see all is well with all. Sorry, too tired to name check!!! Tea out was lovely got homd about 1 HR ago. Been packing all the baby clothes up for my mum: she wants to wash them for GILS they ' ve been in Georgie' s wardrobe for a year now. All seems unreal. Xxx

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 21/09/2011 21:24

Oooh, good luck Mama!

Mama5isalive · 21/09/2011 20:40

Hi Jane - im 2 days late if go by last cycle 28 days! this is my 2nd since mmc so not a pattern but was on 28 days before so as soon as i was a day late i knew!
but now nothing and i dont want to see a negative so just waiting! till the weekend if no show the i will draw for the Stick!!
Too- yes finding way to distract yourself must be hard, but keep it up!

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 21/09/2011 20:13

Crap, I forgot to call the doctor and ask for my aspirin prescription to be renewed! Doh! I have one tablet left, which I will take today, and then I'm out. Angel or one of the other nurses on here, can I buy the right sort of aspirin? It was 75mg of dispersible aspirin. I won't be able to get to the surgery before 5 tomorrow to pick up a new prescription because I have to go to the bank after work and DH has to work late. I could get to Sainsbury's or perhaps a Boots that stays open until 6 and buy aspirin to tide me over.

Jane, it doesn't feel like 'already', it feels like every moment has been counted twice! Being back at work does help because it distracts me. The week I was on holiday was actually worst.
