jane glad the wedding went well, frustrating about the non bfp, did you ov late?

Ive just got DH to agree to test tomorrow and well now hes said yes I dont feel that pg anymore, what am I like. I still have all the same symptoms and Im cramping kind of like a period but not. Ok Im going to stop obsessing now, I thought I wasnt going to obsess this cycle, I just cant help myself.

janedoe25 · 26/09/2011 13:11

Hi girls, hope you are all well?
The wedding was fab and AF has stayed away Im now on cd 38 of a usual 28/30 day cycle! I have tested twice once on cd 28 and cd 34 both bfn. I am way to scared to test again so I'm waiting it out for AF to arrive.

ciwi · 26/09/2011 11:03

blue I had ov bleeding in the 2 cycles before I fell pg this time, maybe you are about to ov. I have found that with me the test line starts light and gets darker till it's positive. Get on with the swi!

greenzebra · 26/09/2011 10:33

blue on one of my cycles after Ophelia died I ov tested everyday from day 9 just to make sure my cycle wasnt complety different, but then again I am a person who needs to know everything.

Bluetinkerbell · 26/09/2011 10:29

well did an ov test there is a test line, but it is lighter than the control line, so that is a negative then... will do one again tomorrow!
don't have a clue yet when I usually ov... need to try and understand my cycles a bit more first. At the moment DH and I are on a swi every other day routine Wink

he's just gone off to sell our car, as we now have his driving instructor car. And I've just realised I'm meeting up with a MN lady tomorrow, and would need the car to get there... well could also go on the train but that would be a £8 return ticket...
he also gave me the key of the driving instructor car, as I will need to go and pick him up when he does sell the car, I don't even know where he's gone off too... Major stress for me, as I don't like driving somewhere I don't know!

thats true Blue my cycle lengths have changed and ov has moved a day since I had Ophelia.

razzdazz · 26/09/2011 09:52

Never say never blue, I usually have 35-40 day cycles but the month I concieved this time I was having a 28 day cycle (hubby was only around for a short time period) as confirmed with scan dates. First 28 day cycle since I fell pregnant with my son ten years ago aged 22!!!

greenzebra · 26/09/2011 09:49

when do you usually ov blue?

Bluetinkerbell · 26/09/2011 09:48

hmm no not done an ov test, it would be a very early ov though... considering I have such long cycles...

greenzebra · 26/09/2011 09:43

razz I dont need much encouragment to poas, dont have any money on me now but I have a stick at home, wondering if I could persaude DH that tommorrow I should test? Dh is a little worried that we could have a chemical pg again and doesnt want to test till later but I might be able to persaude him as if we do test then tes tthe next day to and it gets darker then its all good. We didnt do this last time.

razzdazz · 26/09/2011 09:42

green just thought that I would add that I have not had sore boobs at all this time, not even fuller, nipples can be slightly sensitive. If I wasnt so sick I wouldnt even believe that I was pregnant!!!

razzdazz · 26/09/2011 09:39

Morning all
green, go on, poas, you no you want to [devil icon]. Like ciwi I also just knew that I was pregnant and actually did a test 4 days before AF was due which I had promised myself not to do due to the previous CP's. Wishing you loads of pregnancy vibes.
dachs so pleased to read of your lovely outcome at scan and your casts sound lovely.
too, how funny, I also did the ring test on saturday (during x factor break) and it said boy for me also. However, I saw a world famous medium in July who predicted this pregnancy and told me it was a girl, she got loads of stuff spot on so who knows. I do not care one little bit, just want a baby. it is fun to do though.
mel I hope your dinner with in-laws went well and that you are feeling a little better.
cheese I so no how you feel regards not 'feeling it'. I am also having to try hard to conceal the pregnancy at home aswell as work. Dont want my children to be aware until I am hopefully given the all clear at oxford which is hard with my vomiting.....ds thinks I have a stomoch ulcer, bless him.
jane hope you had a great time at the wedding and angel I hope you enjoyed being pampered, I am green with envy Envy.
Waving to all I havent mentioned.

greenzebra · 26/09/2011 09:36

blue might be ov bleed have you done a ov test?

greenzebra · 26/09/2011 09:36

thanks ciwi I think Im 13 dpo. Last time though my boobs really hurt and this time they dont but they are very full and nipples are a little tender. This headache I been having though is just what I had when fell pg with Ophelia and I had it a bit when I had my cp.

Bluetinkerbell · 26/09/2011 09:32

oh green that would be lovely!

I'm now on CD10 and yesterday I had a little brownish/reddish discharge. I had the same last cycle on CD13 and 14. Never had it before.

ciwi · 26/09/2011 09:23

green I was convinced I was pregnant this time from about day 22 so much so that I said if I did a test and it was negative I wouldn't believe it, I just knew I was. I really hope this is the case for you too. My boobs hurt, I felt slightly sickly, felt hot and tired. Fx crossed for you, how many dpo are you?

greenzebra · 26/09/2011 08:52

I tried all that gender prediction stuff last time and it was false, it told me I was having a boy and had a girl. Its just a bit of fun really. The only one who was right was my husband. Also when my mum was pg with me she was told I was a boy as my heart rate was in the boy zone and well it was wrong!

I have convinced myself over the weekend that Im pregnant. Its CD28 today and all weekend Ive had a headache and a period like feeling. But no period, I know its early but I just have this feeling that I am, and I need to tell some one as DH has kind of banned this talk untill Im a few days late and we take a test. My nipples are darker too and also a little tender but not as much as last time. Im so hot all the time aswell and tired, keep yawning. Before I was pg I had cycles of 31-33 days but since I have had cycles of 29-31 so maybe I could test tomorrow? I think though if Im not then I will be dissapointed but not as much as I was last time. Its a strange feeling, anyone else felt like this? This is so strange as I thought we might have missed ov but we did swi the day before, god I hate all this waiting, I so desparatley want to go over to sainsburys and buy a stick!

DiffedAgainDachs · 25/09/2011 16:26

Has anyone tried the baking soda test? There are lots of US sites that recommend it (wee makes it fizz with a boy, doesn't fizz if it's a girl) but wouldn't ALL liquid make baking soda fizz?

DiffedAgainDachs · 25/09/2011 16:24

:)

DiffedAgainDachs · 25/09/2011 16:23

I told my obs I was really worried about bonding with this pg and couldn't see how I was going to be able to after last time, and that I was worried about bonding with the baby when it comes out if I can't bond with the pg. He said that in his experience some people don't bond that much with the pg after a late loss but it doesn't stop the feelings flooding in really strongly when the healthy baby pops out. It's a defence mechanism but not something to be worried about. He's not expecting me to be able to feel positive at all about this pg until well after 28 weeks, and for people with a later loss than I had, he wouldn't expect them to bond until even later.

Can someone explain nub theory to me? :)

ciwi · 25/09/2011 16:17

cheese I keep checking the hb on the doppler, I know I shouldn't but it is reassuring. They are going to monitor my blood pressure very frequently and regular scans, don't think they can do a blood test for pre eclampsia. Also don't worry about the bonding thing, I was worried about that and talked to my acupuncturist about it and she said I shouldn't be too hard on myself, I have been through a lot and it will right itself. I also know the love I felt for Ciaran as soon as I saw him and I know I will feel the same about this baby so try not to worry too much.
too will have to try some more gender things, I tried the nub theory and that says girl but I am not sure I did it right.

CheeseandGherkins · 25/09/2011 16:05

Oh Too I tried the nub theory one and I think it's a boy from that too, I feel a boy too but I really don't care as long as this one comes home with us. Maybe I feel boy from early on because Scarlett was a girl and I need this pregnancy to be different? I think about and analyse things far too much can you tell?!

CheeseandGherkins · 25/09/2011 16:03

dachs that sounds really lovely. This is what ours looks like imageshack.us/photo/my-images/29/img0137ic.jpg/ I found a lovely place for baby loss items here www.alexandrasangelgifts.co.uk/ maybe something that could work for you?

It's really hard though, I keep thinking that I should be bonding more and "feeling" more pregnant, like last time.

Too Just did it and it came up girl! As did the chinese gender predictor! I'm sticking with boy though for now. I'm going to find out at the next scan, still not decided to pay for a private one in a week or so or not. I think I was 9 weeks when I first heard the heartbeat? Can take a while that early though.

Yes you're right, it is early on still so I should have expected to feel this way! Some days I've even dared to think about bringing a baby home this time and then stopped myself quite quickly. It feels like tempting fate in some weird way.

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 25/09/2011 15:50

X posts, Dachs - hi! Chinese gender prediction (found in an ancient Beijing tomb Hmm) says girl for me too. Will try nub theory after scan on Wed!

Not really sure which way to jump on the date/frame dilemma because I haven't seen the frame in question. Hmm. Like you say, you won't ever forget the date, so it isn't really necessary. On the other hand, it doesn't hurt to have it included! (I'm a huge help, really!)
