I'm day 20 battery, the spotting started on day 16. I had a smear 18 months ago. Smile for af

batteryhen · 16/09/2011 11:31

Hello everyone - sorry for not posting much - have been lurking with nothing much to say about my crap body!

lady fab news - a lttle heart beat is a huge milestone :)
tina - are your smears up to date at all? Where abouts in your cycle are you?

My news is that AF has arrived! 13 weeks post ERPC - and one cycle with no bleeding at all (which frankly scared the crap out of me). I had accupucnture last night - she specifically worked on getting my periods back on track and then this morning -AF - and full on - not just spotting. I could cry with the reilef. So I am ready to be added to any lists that are being put together!

TTC#1, 3MMC. CD1 UCL 29 DAYS

I hope everyone is ok and gearing up to a fab weekend x

TomboyWife · 16/09/2011 10:44

Tina sorry to hear you didn't get a definitive answer, but hopefully they'll be able to tell you more on Tuesday.

LadyM hooray for positive scans! Smile

I have yesterday and today off before starting my new job, and I've been doing some oh-so-exciting house cleaning. Not my first choice for how to spend my holiday, but it really needed doing.

Someone asked about our camper van. It's back from the mechanic, but it came back with a couple of minor problems that we're trying to sort. Its MOT runs out today and it won't pass with these problems, so we're still without use of it. Sad

MissTinaTeaspoon · 16/09/2011 10:11

GP said it's likely to be hormonal due to ovulation. She didn't want to do a VE because of the blood that would be there so I've got to go back on Tuesday for that pleasure! She did say that ovulation bleeding only normally lasts a few days though so I'm not sure I'm that reassured to be honest Confused

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 15/09/2011 19:00

Grin to lady for a fab scan and Grin to yrmotb for viability - great news!!! Grin

aandr well done on getting the progesterone, keeping fx for you x

Tina I only had mid-cycle spotting once, but that was on the cycle I conceived I hope you get a sympathetic dr though...

MissTinaTeaspoon · 15/09/2011 15:04

Grin for lady Grin

I've had several scans digital, they've all been fine. I'm going to see if the gp will refer me though, the mid cycle bleeding isn't normal for me, and the old blood I get before my period seems to last a little bit longer every month. It seems like some kind of hormonal imbalance to me, especially as I also get very spotty skin during my luteal phase. I've also been researching endometriosis and I've got some of the symptoms

Velvetcu · 15/09/2011 10:13

ladym that's great news Smile

AandRMum · 15/09/2011 10:01

Oh LadyM fab - long may it continue.

Loup23 · 15/09/2011 09:52

tina sorry to hear re spotting, see the GP just so he/she can reassure you, they might be able to take a look and do a couple of tests there. I have spotting on and off after O every month (except this one) but all blood tests came back normal so I've no idea why it happens - I hope it's a one off for you.

Congrats to lady great news.

7dpo here, no symptoms, slightly sore boobs but temps only just scraping coverline Sad

Blackkat · 15/09/2011 07:49

digi & ladym fantastic news on scans, lovely to hear your news.

yrmotb congrats on the 24 milestone, sorry to hear you're so busy hope you get chance to read the hypno book soon.

Tina sorry to hear about mid cycle spotting, gp sounds like a good idea.

Sorry it's brief, on phone to everyone else

digitalgirl · 15/09/2011 07:12

That's great news ladym! Must be a relief. When's your next scan?

Tina perhaps ask your gp for a referral to a gynae? They can maybe check your hormone levels and also refer you for a scan to see what's going on.

LadyMaybe · 15/09/2011 04:41

Hi had my scan and so far it's looking fine. Heartbeat was seen, I'm 6+4 by dates but measured 6+6 which tallies with me ovulating a couple days early. Am off for a nap after restless night.

MissTinaTeaspoon · 14/09/2011 22:23

I'm spotting again, it's old blood. I'm day 18 so too early for implantation or period, I'm starting to get a bit worried about it. I'm not sure if it's my cervix or a messed up cycle...I had a few short ones after the mc but I'm normal like clockwork. I think I might have to go to the gp on Friday (the bonus of dd being in school is that I wont have to take her - it's not nice having her on the other side of the curtain whilst the dr pokes my bits about!

Enjoy your hols freezing

Freezingmyarseoff · 14/09/2011 22:09

Quick post from train so mission accomplished. We got there with no tears (DH decided to cone with us rather than meet us at Euston) & I now have a DD sleeping on the floor next to me.
anyway enough of that

Grinfor Digi
Grin for YRMOTB
Sad for Tina & first day of school
Squeeze to Itsa but only if you want it
Smile for AandR for the progesterone

(tmi alert) Another one here with lots of CM

Sorry that's about all o can remember for now, want to post before we get out of signal
Big waves to everyone else.

AandRMum · 14/09/2011 21:16

Congrats Tomboy It can't have been a nice place to be in the last couple of weeks. How is your campervan? Has your dh made peace with the garage?

Itsa I meant to say that I can completely relate to the list koala incident! We are amazing at supressing our emotion but they tend to find a way to leak out anyway!! I spent a cathartic few weeks recently just letting myself sob all the way to work on my bike and finally I can talk about the mc without breaking down. I think everyone has their own timescale and way of grieving and all you can do is go with it!

Tina it is rather momentous sending them off isn't it. My DD is settling beautifully but I keep getting a shock seeing her in her uniform?!?

Big waves to all

TomboyWife · 14/09/2011 20:43

digi hooray for good scans and heartbeats! Grin

AandR glad you found someone to give you progesterone.

AF finally deigned to show her face today. I'm feeling less PMT-ish already, which is nice. I'm sure it also helped that my last day at my old job was today, so all the tension around leaving has gone as well.

AandRMum · 14/09/2011 20:38

LadyM any news from your scan?

AandRMum · 14/09/2011 18:34

Digi so sorry in my discharge induced myopia I missed your fab news Fantastic news!!!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 14/09/2011 18:26

Big whoop!!!! for digi !!!! Grin Grin Grin

AandRMum · 14/09/2011 12:32

Thanks all for your leaky stories - they help! I have a prescription for progesterone from a consultant who was simply humouring me - only 400 per day but hopefully it will do it's bit. I have a scan scheduled for Friday week when I will be 6 weeks so fx there will be something to see ...

Will catch up soon - work calls!

CollieandPup · 14/09/2011 10:28

pops in to say thanks for replying at the weekend Tina what you said was really helpful! My nipples used to be quite flat, but are now very peanut like Grin so I suppose the shields wouldn't help, which is good to know. Turns out my pushy pro breastfeeding friend has been working with some local women to help them latch so as long as she promises not to lecture me, I know I have her to go to for help, which is hugely reassuring!

Really sorry for not catching up properly but I'm having major sleeping issues and I'm a walking zombie! But, big whoop for yrmotb for reaching viability!!! How was the hypnobirthing book by the way?

And good luck to Tina and loup on the 2ww..I'm always lurking for happy bfp news!!

MissTinaTeaspoon · 14/09/2011 10:20

Grin for digi Grin

I'm sitting here sobbing because I just dropped dd off Sad, she didn't look back though!

The bleeding's stopped now loup, I'm 3 dpo today so we can be cycle buddies! Smile

Loup23 · 14/09/2011 10:12

Yay for digi fab news and hooray for yrmotb, this thread is producing lots of positive stories so Fx for those of us yet to get the BFP.

tina hope the midcycle bleeding has settled - since coming off the pill a year ago I have had ov bleeding every month except January and this one..... I'm wondering whether it is a bad sign that I dodn't this month as my temps post O are quite low too so wondering if I did in fact O at all Confused the specialist I saw said ov bleeding was fine but an acupuncturist I saw said she would try and stop it (maybe that's what's happened this month....) Anyway, good luck on the 2ww, I'm 6dpo today...

Waves to all and hands round packs of haribos for morning sugar rush required to get going Grin

Velvetcu · 14/09/2011 10:12

yippeeee digi that's great news :)

aandr dont get me started on discharge! I have to wear the extra long panty liners now otherwise it soaks through either at the back or front of my clothes depending on where it's positioned!

Those with new bfps it is sooo hard at the beginning and the middle and the end and I totally remember the feeling of wanting to go to sleep and wake up after the 12 week scan. It really is best to try and forget about it although I know realistically you cant. Ranting on here really helped me through it though :)

LadyM I have pgp and it's finally gotten the better of me now. I've been given really shitty classes at school so I'm going off sick for 2 weeks now before my mat leave starts. Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with choosing schools yet - sounds like a nightmare! I don't know if having insider info about local schools will make it more or less difficult?

I hope everyone has a good day today. I'm using todays sick day to take the dog for a haircut and go and get my nails done :)

Youremindmeofthebabe · 14/09/2011 09:28

Weeeee! That's fab news digi! How lush xx
