carlychristmas · 13/12/2005 11:25

mumsXMASwish · 13/12/2005 11:21

I've got visions of you putting a bulb right next to it to see straight through! lol

Well I hope you get your BFP you deserve it as much as anyone else.

carlychristmas · 13/12/2005 11:12

morning mums
I will give af till friday if she hasnt turned up i will test again. To be honest i think i have resigned myself that im not pg, so doing countless tests and having constant bfn's is doing my sanity no good. And its not doing my purse any good either i will buy one cblue digital on friday if no af that way i cant sit tilting it in the light and holding it up this way and that way

mumsXMASwish · 13/12/2005 11:05

Carly - I'm glad your feeling abit more positive. When are you going to test next? You gonna give it a week?

carlychristmas · 13/12/2005 11:03

morning ladies
well still no af, but have really tingly boobs again, they are not like it all the time just every now and again start to hurt and tingle. I realised that i had my dates wrong and sunday was cd28. Im still not going to test cos im still having af pains and not wasting anymore money because what normally happens is i think to myself "im pregnant", do a test, and then come on later that day and feel gutted I cant remember if my boobs normally feel like that but they probably do.
HC lots of luck for today xx
Please give a recipe for choclate haystacks have no idea what they are but sound yummy
Morning to XACK,ASH,MYGIRL,FIRSTNIKKI,G4P,MINCEPEE,DIDDLE and anyone else if i missed you sorry xx

mincepee · 13/12/2005 10:44

Good morning......
Didds, had to laugh at the house lights. COOL I would love them. We put them outside too. One of my upstairs windows won't open know cos I insisted on putting the wires thru the opening and locking the window last year. This has obviously busted it. May drill thru the UPVC when DH is at work

Yesterday was a weird day. That brown stuff was really freaky. There was loads. It all stopped by about 2pm. All clear now. STRANGE.

ASH thanks for putting me out of my misery. I have heard of the club but not DH's cous. That's it won't mention it again.
It was really weird finding out your real name.
You must have guessed mine. Stop it..... DON'T LAUGH . According to my Dad it was that or Flora. Not sure which is worse. (think of the old TV advert)
Anyway now that i have your real name I can run a few checks and make sure we are not all going to meeting up with some loon in january.
I have a duty to the rest of the mumsnetters so will update them with my findings.

mumsXMASwish · 13/12/2005 10:22

well morning everyone.

Hope your all ok. I've got an absess on my wisdom tooth which kept me up all night.

Carly - really feel for you having to go dentists. I hate them

HC - Sorry to hear you feeling yucky but at the same time, its good that you are.

XACK - You dont really want a hysterectomy do you?

Nikki - Congrats on the rock cake challenge!

Everyone else, I hope youre all ok and having a nice day.

going4potty · 13/12/2005 10:08

Hi everyone cary glad ur ok and crimbo cat big hug! Choclate hatstacks oh yummie! This being at home is great but i can just see the pounds piling on. Ps i have a little bit of an issue with the size of my bum, hence the paranoia. Went to hand my hospital discharge letter to the doctor and almost started blubbing when the receptionist actually smiled at me.

Atomicstockinghanger · 13/12/2005 09:54

Morning all,

Hope you're all doing ok this morning.

Carly - i hate the dentist was supposed to be going in for an opeeration on my gum tomorrow, but i cancelled it. partly because i'm scared to death and i have no idea the effects it could have an on baby so i'm not doing it.
root fillings are horrible aren't they, but better than having the pain that the bad tooth causes.

Hc - so pleased you're feeling sick, will pop over to your july thread and post an essay.

hope everyone else is ok

i know i shouldnt feel guilty about me time, but i do. so im gonna justify myself and say he has only started this nursery this sept!

going4potty · 12/12/2005 17:04

know what your saying, ds goes to childminder when im working and the two days i dont he goes to religious based nursery during term time for a couple of hours, for me to have me time. So when i do have him with me i do like to do things with him, but not allways the best thing for the time available. Eg if he is tired, going to the park or flashcards are not exactly helpful. But cuddling on tv 2gether, is great time for physical bonding.

mumsXMASwish · 12/12/2005 16:48

TV rules.

Me and DF keep argiuing about this. I've said where is the problem when it is teaching them stuff anyway and he thinks that kids shouldnt be allowed to watch tv until they've done educational stuff. I agree kinda. No tv till homework done but he thinks no tv till kid is at least 3 and even then only after he's done some times tables etc. Cos aparently our kids are gonna be geniouses. lol with my brains?

going4potty · 12/12/2005 16:27

i know what you mean. but i think if it keeps you sane and loving being with them, why not.? activities without tv are great fun,but at times you need quick solutions or just a rest

mygarland · 12/12/2005 16:21

I feel quite cruel actually cos even the 8 month old knows the theme tunes she esp loves the fimbles!
Tis the best (legal) drug going!

going4potty · 12/12/2005 16:18

ah, it is a wonder drug, in widespread use.
