Yoo-Hooo! its gone awful quiet.....

Was that a tumble weed I just spotted......

Atomicstockinghanger · 07/12/2005 10:14

I don't think the Rh neg had anything to do with this MC as of my 3 boys only one is Rh pos and I had Anti- D after having him. BUT I am concerned about nay further PGs coz the EPU i went to for my MC failed to ask if I knew my blood group and I missed my window for having anti-D. It was too late when I thought of it (not exactly the first thing i thought of when I was told I had lost my baby!!) So, as well as the hospital verging on neglegence, I might also have jeopardised any future PGs

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 07/12/2005 10:13

Rh neg here too. Lots of interesting facts about it on the net. Especially from the American hospitals and their policies. They're alot more on the ball so to speak.

Atomicstockinghanger · 07/12/2005 10:11

Oh goodness yes, Aprilgirl....

ARE YOU THERE APRILGIRL?????

Let us know ASAP

FirstSaintNikkilass · 07/12/2005 10:11

FirstSaintNikkilass · 07/12/2005 10:09

mygarland · 07/12/2005 10:09

i need a degree in common sence tho ash - u'll find out in about 6wks!

Atomicstockinghanger · 07/12/2005 10:06

Hah!! I doubt it Mygarland!! You are educated after all!! Its just I am a motor mouth and talk all th time!! hehheee!!!

mygarland · 07/12/2005 10:04

ash u r much more articulate than me!

mygarland · 07/12/2005 10:03

me and ash (& every1 here) would love to have the chance to be pg

Atomicstockinghanger · 07/12/2005 10:03

I meant Mums that I would be grateful for a few needles if it meant I was PG. I am Rh neg and I am a pin cushion whist PG but I wouldn't care - coz I would BE PG!!!!!!!

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 07/12/2005 10:01

Mums- I'm over the moon that you're finally pg and send you loads of beanie glue but could I ask a favour that you could save alot of the pg chat for your Due in August thread. Alot of us still here find it incredibly hard to deal with not being able to conceive. People like poor G4P are going through a horrid, awful time at the mo and really could do without this. Please don't take offence at this, it's not meant like that. I'm so genuinely pleased for you but would prefer that you saved the baby chat for the Due in August thread and saved normal witty, fun banter for here. Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, it's not meant to.

mumsXMASwish · 07/12/2005 09:58

what do you mean chance would be a fine thing? I'm confused. They won't give me one you mean? I'm hoping they just want me to p in a cup. I dont want needles

mygarland · 07/12/2005 09:51

yeah when i was in labour i dreaded a c-secion or intervention, but i really dreaded having a line put in me and guess what they put one in and didn't need it - that was bloody awful

and def agree with ash

mumsXMASwish · 07/12/2005 09:46

lol....

When I had the D&C. I was a pin-cushion literally. They took blood from both of my arms. when I went in to be put to sleep they tried in both my hands, then went back to the original. Then I had to have an injection for something in my arse!! no fun!

Atomicstockinghanger · 07/12/2005 09:45

Chance would be a fine thing, having a PG related blood test

mygarland · 07/12/2005 09:42

i ended up crying like a baby once at abte-natal clinic they made such a fuss and got baby needles for me instead then they had to take 3 samples cos they messed up and bruised me (sorry not helping am i?) advice is don't let them no how scared u r of them!

mumsXMASwish · 07/12/2005 09:38

oh I don't like them at all, whether they're giving or taking. NO LIKE

mygarland · 07/12/2005 09:34

u'll have to ask them to do that test tho, and can understand hatred of needles i only dislike the ones that take blood (not ones that give injections)

mumsXMASwish · 07/12/2005 09:30

oh right!

cool, I like that idea, I can get an exact time I got pg then. near enough.

mygarland · 07/12/2005 09:26

hcg levels double every day (i think) so can tell by level if u r 5 wks 1 day or 4 weeks 6 days type of thing - good luck!

mumsXMASwish · 07/12/2005 09:25

yeh I know, and I'll get used to it but still ARGH!! NEEDLES!!! ARGH!!! lol

How can they tel how pg I am from HCG? Surely you're either pg or not, can't be "well, you're not quite enough pg for our liking Miss Wish" I'm in a really good mood today.

mygarland · 07/12/2005 09:22

mums- blood taken not nice but as least they can satisfy themselves and maybe u'll get other info (eg hcg so u know how pg u r), really happy for u babes, x

mumsXMASwish · 07/12/2005 09:16

LOL @ John wayne,

Got visions of it now! lol

Well you enjoy yourself. Going to docs today in about an hour, blood to be taken (ARGH NO!!!) They don't believe my test so they said they'll do a blood test instead of a p test. Don't know why, they didnt last time.

mygarland · 07/12/2005 09:16
