A husband was in big trouble when he forgot his wedding anniversary.
His wife told him "Tomorrow there better be something in the driveway for me that goes zero to 200 in 2 seconds flat."
The next morning the wife found a small package in the driveway. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.
Funeral arrangements for the husband have been set for Saturday

CARDIOLOGIST'S FUNERAL

A cardiologist died and was given an
elaborate funeral. A huge heart covered
in flowers stood behind the casket during
the service. Following the eulogy, the
heart opened, and the casket rolled
inside sealing the doctor in the beautiful
heart forever.
At that point, one of the mourners burst
into laughter. When all eyes stared at
him he said, "I'm sorry, I was just
thinking of my own funeral....I'm a
qynecologist."
That's when the proctologist fainted

After God had created Adam he noticed that he looked very lonely. He decided to help.
He said "Adam, I've decided to make you a woman. She'll love you, cook for you, be sweet to you, and understand you."

Adam said "Great! How much will she cost me?"

The answer came back, "An arm and a leg."

"Well," said Adam "what can I get for a rib?"

The chicken and the egg are laying in bed. The chicken is smoking a cigarette with a satisfied smile on its face while the egg is frowning and looking slightly annoyed.

The egg mutters "Well I guess that answers that riddle".

A husband desperate to end an argument offers to buy is wife a new car. She curtly declines his offer by saying, "That's not quite what I had in mind."

Frantically he offers her a new house. Again she rejects his offer, "That's not quite what I had in mind."

Curious, he asks: "What did you have in mind?"

She retorts, "I'd like a divorce."

He answers, "I hadn't planned on spending quite that much."

Gald you were'nt offended Mums. Did'nt you ever make rock cakes at school? I thought everyone knew what they were LOL.
Nikke- What a wonderful, so true description your dh made. Bless. Brought a tear to my eye that did. So, so so true.
Forgot to add earlir, G4P- Best of luck today hunny, we're thinking of you. x

Atomicstockinghanger · 07/12/2005 11:04

Your DH sounds very much like mine Nikki. My DH hasn't said a word about my MC. He wasn't keen on me being PG in the first place and I saw his reluctance to talk at as relief at first, but he was so supportive so I gave him the benefit of the coubt and decided it was guilt instead. I am always probing to find out how DH is feelingas I am a talkative person, but he refuses to open up. Hey ho! Suppose we are all different

mumsXMASwish · 07/12/2005 11:03

I had that prob Nikki. He will tell you when he's ready, its just hard for him to tell you cos then he's not your rock to lean on anymore.

ASH - I get that but whats it taste of? I've never heard of it before
