22nd sounds good Sn0w and Cake Lovely June babies Smile

Day 2 of 30 day shred done. Everything hurts Sad

I have a really funny sensation in my left groin, bikini line bit. On and off, but so much so in the night that it took my breath away Hmm

CakePigeon · 23/08/2011 17:03

Ooh sn0w we can be cycle buddies I'm also due around 22nd sept yay! Grin I will bring marshmallows and those spoons with the long handles!

scream my left boob ached before AF this time - maybe right boob = preggo, left = not so?!

Wants3 · 23/08/2011 17:01

I have a deadline in the fact that I am a bit oldercake

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 23/08/2011 16:58

Wants I'm sorry to hear the nurse was so rough with you this afternoon! Hopefully the various yummy baked goodies around will make you feel better soon in time for some yummy swi action later!

Farfalla don't forget that this month is YOUR month, so ignore the test results and just keep smacking that rat! Soon you'll be sitting in the doctor's office talking about just how "surprised" you were when you immediately became pregnant following the test result, and then you can muse knowingly about how the body works in mysterious ways Grin

Loving the positive attitude Baby! Your pee stick endorsement is just around the corner!

I've just noticed that my right boob is aching! I can't decide what is weirder about this:

  1. That the first thing I wanted to do was come online and tell you guys about it!
  2. How happy I am to have an aching boob! Or...
  3. It's only the one boob!?!

Whatever the answer is I'm now inspired to bounce around the room doing my yay-for-more-symptoms dance!

NinjaChipmunk · 23/08/2011 16:48

farfalla you might find this interesting reading.

NinjaChipmunk · 23/08/2011 16:36

just a quick one from me as ds wants to play now we are home, farfalla I was told they look for over 30, but i know if it is lower I'm sure there are things they can suggest to improve the number. Don't panic! Will try to find the info later for you but have to go i'm afraid

Sn0wGoose · 23/08/2011 16:33

Hmmm checks diary... shall we pencil in the 22nd Sep for a celebratory BFP Brew cakepidgeon? I shall provide the hot chocolate and squirty cream :o

CakePigeon · 23/08/2011 16:11

Hi sn0w when are you confirming your pregnancy this month?

wants have you got a ttc deadline? I thought that was just me! I'm moving to a different career with no mat leave or pay next October so cakelet needs to be 3 months by then or I'll have to put off ttc until I'm about a year in to the new job Sad

Solars · 23/08/2011 16:07

Hi Sn0w

Wants you poor thing, the nurse seemed to have been a but rough with you, hope you feel better soon. Baby I'm the same and seem to have an elusive cervix, they seem to be ages down there looking for it Blush

Imps liked the idea of your solution to Dreams radiator problem :)

Wants3 · 23/08/2011 16:03

america good to hear that! I was feeling disheartened when nurse said it takes 9 months + to conceive! I haven't got that long and she obviously doesn't know about this thread:) I have done it in 3months before so holding on to that thought.

CakePigeon · 23/08/2011 16:00

that's the attitude BabySade brilliant positivity there Grin good luck for future confirmations

As for preseed, you get the option of using really sexy syringes to squirt it up there

BabySade · 23/08/2011 15:56

Oh and welcome sn0w Smile

BabySade · 23/08/2011 15:54

Realised I missed a few things Farfalla hope someone can help you with the blood results. Do you think its because it was a few days after ovulation?

Wants I sympathise with your doctors visit. It always takes them ages to do my smear as they can't get it in Blush or get the right view. Don't know why, have always been too BlushBlushBlush to ask.

BabySade · 23/08/2011 15:48

Thanks for the reassurance everyone Smile You are all lovely. I'm looking at it that I'm pregnant regardless of tests or AF. I just might have a later EDD than expected!
Cake welcome to day 1 of your pregnancy Wink. You best start thinking of names now, only 9 months to go!
Only 12 days to go till my jolly holidays, can't wait Grin

Is pre-seed like a lubricant? Please forgive my ignorance Blush I've never used one, does it not just slip straight back out?!

musicalmrs · 23/08/2011 15:31

I am now concerned about my lack of raspberry crumble cravings. In fact, I've lost my appetite completely, which is completely unlike me. On the other hand, it means you can all eat my freshly baked brownies, as they're obviously lost on me..!

Bartlet - glad it's not just me ;) Is your name WW inspired? I've been watching lots of it to take my mind off of ttc (well, to prevent boob-proding a la Imps, obsessive CM watching and reliance on Dr Google!).

maybebabyR · 23/08/2011 15:17

Sorry Bartlet cross-posts! I knew you would confirm the raspberry crumble cravings

maybebabyR · 23/08/2011 15:14

Sorry you feel rubbish Wants hope the paracetamol kicks in soon. r maybe a hot bath might help?

Farfalla good to hear you are ovulating. I have no idea what is normal though. Could the fact that it was done slightly later skew the results a little?

Thanks Cake I think a May baby would be lovely too

BartletForAmerica · 23/08/2011 15:13

farfalla and everyone else, I've found this helpful chart on Wikipedia

Amazing the variability of ovulation between women and between cycles, but it also shows progesterone levels at different time in the cycle.

BartletForAmerica · 23/08/2011 15:10

Babysade, sorry about the BFN. Clearly the pee stick just hasn't realised that you are one of us here and are therefore pregnant. Give it a good talking to and tell it that you'll give it another chance tomorrow. The high LH is certainly encouraging.

Scream, glad your tests are finally more impressive. Clearly you've been pregnant for days but must be reassuring to see the lines agree. I reckon you've just got a dodgy batch. Hope the cramps settle down, and, if they don't, remember they are just getting everything ready for squeak to bed in nicely for the next 8 months.

golden, once AF is over, we just try to DTD every day/couple of days. It is possible to ovulate at any point in the cycle - remember when we had sex ed in school and were told that we could get pregnant during our period, standing up etc? Chocolate fridge cake definitely sounds like a pregnancy craving. In fact, I could do with some as well - so I clearly must be pregnant too.

I can also confirm, with my vast amount of medical knowledge and experience in this area, that raspberry crumble cakes are a sign of pregnancy at CD23. And I know this because I've got letters after my name and everything

CakePigeon · 23/08/2011 15:09

Thanks jaggy I don't get ewcm so rely on opks and temping. I think I'm a bit too obsessive to just swi every other day, I had a month off from charting this month and hated the lack of knowledge about what was going on!

Wants3 · 23/08/2011 14:59

I run a pre-school [musical] so I will certainly be busy when I get back!
Yes it was smear, taken paracetamol but still feeling rough, not good when have plans for SWI:(

farfallarocks · 23/08/2011 14:57

Sorry to post and run I am going to come back and look at the thread properly after work.

Just got a call from my GP and my day 21 progesterone was at 20 which she said confirmed ovulation but suggested poor follicolar development and a luteal insufficiency. She has ordered a repeat test as it was done on 23 instead of 21 (which was a Saturday!) I did ovulate on day 14/15. Any ideas on what normal is?

here you go :)

jaggythistle · 23/08/2011 14:42

do you get ewcm? maybe keep an eye out for that? Or just go for the every other day after AF (add more days if you feel like it) and hope for the best!

your temp might be ok if you get a good sleep? Is there any info in the FF FAQ bit?

CakePigeon · 23/08/2011 14:39

I managed to avoid a London bus incident by leaping into someone's driveway, I hope they didn't mind!

Hold firm maybe you shall be joining her shortly and summer babies are clearly the best!

Oh no wants bleeding? I really should book a smear test too eek!

Does anyone have tips on charting / identifying the optimum rat smacking days whilst on holiday with flights and an 8 hour time difference?! Ill be far far away when I lay my September egg so I'm concerned about timings Hmm
