Ahem Ninja, what's all this 'if I don't get my BFP this month'? You will be getting your BFP this month

CakePigeon · 24/08/2011 11:56

Good luck with your SWIing wants and solars - it only takes one little sperm cell!

I am at work and really bored...anyone got any baked goods?

NinjaChipmunk · 24/08/2011 11:53

sorry to hear about the sickness, thats pooh, but hopefully brooking no arguement will help this time.
solars maybe he'll feel better after some sleep and vitamins? If you are not laying your egg for a couple of days you may still be in with a chance this month? If I don't get my bfp confirmed this month then i'll be having an hsg next month too. Its not too bad is it? I'm assuming i'll be able to drive myself there and back?

scarletfingernail · 24/08/2011 11:52

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Congratulations Yacka another BFP for brooking no argument.

Welcom looopy

Wants3 · 24/08/2011 11:52

Thanks for the reassurance from everyone! Am starting to feel abit better and DH has 5 days off work so I am back on with the positive thinking and everything!

Solars · 24/08/2011 11:21

Oh Dream hope you feel better very soon, I'll brooking for you too!

Solars · 24/08/2011 11:20

Welcome Looopy and WOW Congratulations Yacka no.7 & counting this is great news and further proof that this thread really works!!!

Just wanted to say that if I do get a BFP this month it truly will be ironic!!!! Husband is down with Man Flu - he's laid up on the sofa as I write this. He came home last night quite late feeling really unwell so didn't have the heart to jump on him. Not only that but he's on call this week and was called in at 3am to go in to do an emergency procedure, got back home at 8.30 this morning. I think I should be ovulating within the next couple of days and really wanted to make this month count especially since I'd had the HSG :( Sorry to be negative...

BUT i'm still hopeful that come this evening DH will be up and raring to go again so i'm still brooking (in hope). I'm loading him up with lots of vitamin C & fluids in the hope he perks up!

Imps I think that has to be implantation, this is YOUR month!

Wants I'm pretty sure CWI works just as well as SWI!

Yacka · 24/08/2011 11:11

Doh stupid phone.... Ment Blush

Yacka · 24/08/2011 11:09

Sorry dream hope u didn't think i was saying u were not having a bad time. [Blush] morning sickness is such a bad thing no matter how bad it gets. I was lucky, if u can call it that, as my doc was very good and got me to test my ketones everyday. He said a lot more people actually get hyperemisis but not enough awareness. So if u get any worse just get yourself checked out. I also found cyclizine helped more that stemetol.
So we both brooking no argument this time :)

maybebabyR · 24/08/2011 10:31

24 days Cake, a whole 24 days Grin

CakePigeon · 24/08/2011 10:28

Welcome looopy I also know nothing about ttc while bf but you have done the right thing coming here as it means you ate already preggers!
Smile

Good point maybe I like it! How far are you into your pregnancy today?

dreamfeeder · 24/08/2011 10:24

Hello looopy

Well yacka, that puts it into perspective. I just had bad morning sickness, not hyperemesis, and never had call for a drip! I should get a grip. I still had a whole lot of things that made me throw up, most times of day, every day (including being too hot, too cold, hungry, too full, 5am- my body liked to make me wake up in a rush at 5am for a bit of early morning vomiting, the car etc etc.). This time, neither of us will brook any argument though, and this is the wort it will get. Fact. I think i'm 6 weeks on Friday.

maybebabyR · 24/08/2011 10:21

Welcome Loooopy of course you belong! Now you are here, this month will be your month Smile Not sure how it all works when bf tbh, as my impending pregnancy will be number one for us!

Cake don't forget, CD3 is day 3 of pregnancy

CakePigeon · 24/08/2011 10:17

Congrats yacka!

imps totally implantation!looking forward to your confirmation surely an early implantation means an early test is in order Grin

Oh no dream sorry you are feeling rubbish I hope you manage to keep some of your breakfast

No news from me, boring boring CD3

Loooopy · 24/08/2011 10:14

Came across this following mentions by jaggy and dreamfeeder on the TTC/BF thread.

Not sure i quite belong here yet, but inspired by the positivity and stream of BFP's!

My DS is 9 1/2 months, and still BF 3 times a day, 8am, 1.45pm and 7pm, but not had AF since he was born.

Have started to get a lot of discomfort on my left side, no longer dry down there like i was after having him, so hoping that things might be kicking back into action. (i never had period pain before, just got cramps when fell pregnant with DS)

Following the "couldn't be a worse time" logic, in the last week i've eaten rare steak, halloumi cheese, dippy eggs and had a couple of drinks. (all whilst still taking pregnacare which i've taken throughout BF'ing DS)

I know the chances of conceiving before first AF is slim, so not sure i'm actually in the running yet, in a way i wish AF would happen as at least then i'd have some dates to work with, as probably not even ovulating yet!

But living in hope that by posting on here, i will too soon get a BFP!

( and BTW boy can't you lot talk - have actualy read all the posts on this thread - took ages but was entertaining and loving all the cakes etc!)

GenericDietCola · 24/08/2011 10:04

Yacka congratulations! Great news!

Imps deffo a symptom - not long til your BFP now!

Dream sorry you are feeling rough.

Quick post from me as I really do need to work lots today.

maybebabyR · 24/08/2011 09:55

Wohooo Yacka Grin Congratulations!! Though I do believe that brooking no argument also works with morning sickness

Oh Dream you poor thing. I suppose you have tried all the usual remedies, ginger, peppermint, sexy anti-nausea bands?

Sorry you are still feeling tender Wants luckily, I have only ever had one smear, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Do you have one of those tilted womb type things that I have read about?

Imps deffo an implantation bleed. Very, very exciting. Any more symptoms to compare

Musical, this new found serenity is quite clearly a symptom Smile The shortbread sounds immense. I want to bake today as I am lazing around working from home.

MeconiumHappens · 24/08/2011 09:55

Congratulations Yacka! Hope you have a happier time with this pregnancy :)

MyGoldenNotebook · 24/08/2011 09:49

Congratulations Yacka!. There's nothing quite as sweet as an ironic BFP. Enjoy your pregnancy :)

Imps7 · 24/08/2011 09:46

Oh, and Wants - CWI is a bona fide and medically proven way to get pregnant - congratulations on cuddling that rat!!

Yacka · 24/08/2011 09:45

Thank u for the lovely messages. Tho like dream I'm not actually lookin forward to pregnancy. How far ru? Had hyperemisis from week 5-30 last time and in and out of hosp on drips :( fingers crossed only slight nausea so far.....gonna brook no argument and keep it that way. LOL And yep only joined last week after debating and lurking for AGES. Defo the best fertility treatment I ever had.

Imps7 · 24/08/2011 09:43

Yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay Yacka!!!! Wooo hooooooooo!! I think that's 7 in the past 2 weeks!! Absolutely, amazingly brilliant!!

dreamfeeder · 24/08/2011 09:35

yacka!!!!!!!! Fantastic news, big congratulations. I hope everythign goes really well for you.

I however am feeling miserable. I am already puking- bile before breakfast, lots and lots of it with lots and lots of wretching. Poor DD finds it very scary and cries. I feel so sick again now that I think i'm about to lose breakfast too. Last time I didn't start vomiting til about a week later than this time, and carried on til 16 weeks or just after... Just hope it doesn't go like that again. Plus I've got an upset tummy, had for a good few days now. Also had this on and off my whole first trimester with DD. Feel generally grim-bo. bah. scream, forget worrying about the birth, pregnancy is far, far, far worse and goes on for far, far longer!!! (it is all worth it, but it's some of the worst 9 months i've had!!!) Sad

imps, nothing every goes totally by the book, that could well be implantation bleed! I had the hit-cervix- soreness a few times last month, but never actual blood... You are Blindingly Obviously Pregnant Grin

wants, you poor thing, i am still celebrating being preggers so don't have to have my smear for another year!!! I reckon with enough cuddling-WI vibes you could indeed get pg.
