Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

Phew what a day. Sorry you've been looking for me dream I've had a lovely day out with DS and some friends at a kiddy farm type place. Was just what I needed to take my mind off my current state of affairs.

Welcome back Maybe good to see you feeling so positive, your BFP is in arms reach. You will get it this month.

dream fantastic to hear you're still brooking no argument for that BFP. I have very high hopes for you.

generic and little your birth stories are inspiring. I'm so going to be better at it this time. Like you dream I twice refused a c-section earlier on during my labour, if I'd known then how it was going to end up I'd have had it, but I was scared stiff of being operated on especially awake!

Scream I hope you and DH are doing something nice this evening to celebrate his birthday. You can surprise him with his belated birthday BFP at the weekend.

Solars I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow, I'm sure it will and you will get your BFP not long afterwards.

mmm lovely bananas jen

CD30 and 13dpo for me. Still no AF, backache gone but a bit crampy in uterus area. Boobs are hurting a lot more than usual. Tbh I only usually get achey boobs when pregnant BUT I'm trying not to read into it too much as my body has been known to play cruel tricks such as this.

Longest recent cycle is 32 days, so I'll test Thursday if no AF by then.

Solars · 16/08/2011 17:26

I do love to cook Imps and have been contemplating a takeaway too, in fact you're right this invasion does deserve a sit down and feet up evening tonight and since hubby is not back until late he will never know the difference if he doesn't see the packaging Grin

Imps7 · 16/08/2011 17:20

Oooh Solars so pleased to hear that the fanny cam was not as bad as you were expecting. Bit worried to hear that you haven't given yourself the night off from cooking dinner though - surely sitting down and relaxing is the way forward tonight??? (unless you love to cook)

Your ironic BFP will be here before you know it!

Imps7 · 16/08/2011 17:17

Excellent! A camping trip! Just what we need!

Excellent news re: impending egg laying Piglet and good work with the SWI so far this week! Sounds like I will be your 2ww buddy - can I share your symptoms seeing as though I'll have none of my own?

Solars · 16/08/2011 17:14

Hi everyone,

Piglet28 · 16/08/2011 16:15

Hey, I found you all on a nice new thread!!

I'm due to ovulate any day now so will be getting down to rat smacking (attempting every other day this week!) and joining you all on 2ww, looking forward to seeing lots of BFP's this month!

Thought i'd add that my birth with DS wasn't so bad, everyone loves to scare people with horror stories when the are PG! was about 9 days late, In labour for about 12 hrs, had an epidural (lovely relief!) DS got a bit stuck and needed a ventouse... not too bad and can't wait to do it all over again!

Good luck everyone!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 16/08/2011 16:08

Excellent idea Jen! All the fun of camping (yummy food, good company) with none of the drawbacks (sleeping outside on hard cold ground, no proper bathrooms!)

Maybe it's good to have you back!! Glad you have a clearer idea of where you are in your cycle. Lots of rat smacking and zero ov stressing sounds like a perfect baby-making recipe to me! How was the hol?

maybebabyR · 16/08/2011 14:52

Hi Jen!

jenfraggle · 16/08/2011 14:38

Sounding like good news Jaggy. Looking forward to when you can confirm your BFP

Hi Maybe

maybebabyR · 16/08/2011 13:41

Ah, it's so nice to be back everyone!

I have my positvity hat on, and nothing is going to knock it off, oh no.

Hurrah for temp dip Jaggy

Looking forward to hearing of confirmation of all BFPs any day soon!

Radiators are tricky Dream I agree with Imps about the sanding.

Excellent news on the pant snot Imps Hope you get your Thursday AM rat smack

Imps7 · 16/08/2011 13:30

Oooh radiator painting - I've not tried that before. You may need to sand the drips away - alternatively you can claim that they were part of the intended design. As another alternative you can buy and install new radiators, but I guess that might be going a little too far.

Jaggy congratulations on the implantation dip! Great news! Only 37 weeks until LittleJaggy's arrival!

jaggythistle · 16/08/2011 13:28

actually more likely 6, my LP is normally 12 or 13 days, I haven't reached 14!

dreamfeeder · 16/08/2011 13:28

oooh jaggy, no, your tiredness and temp dip = baybeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! You're preggers!!!! only 7 days to wait!!!

jaggythistle · 16/08/2011 13:26

Someone at work must be reading this thread - we have RL shortbread.

Well I had a big temp dip on my chart today and I am claiming it as an implantation dip and further evidence of updiffedness. (only a tiny bit scared that a super early AF might arrive)

Only 7dpo it's tooooo looooong to next week.

Hi Maybe nice to see you back.

Come on you BFPs....

dreamfeeder · 16/08/2011 13:25

Right imps, I will be positive. After all AF will NOT be turning up as I am clearly, clearly upduffed. It's just a matter of timing it so the deceitful pee stick doesn't lie to me. Which it won't. babydream is in there as we speak Grin
Now, on another important matter, you seem to be the decorating guru, I have tried to paint a radiator, third coat on this morning, and it looks SH*T. I tried to do it thinly, but it has run, and dried like that, and looks possibly worse than before i started. Fancy popping over and sorting it out for me??
You must also be positive and seduce the hell out of OH on thurs morning.

And where is scarlet today?!

Now, i must get a fresh nappy on DD and head off to a sure-to-be-hellish 3 year old's party on a rainy day- sugared up, indoor toddlers.... Especially as DD will want to join in AKA break my back and knees some more with constant walking round holding a finger trying desperately to be one of the children....

Imps7 · 16/08/2011 13:15

Oooh Maybe you're positively glowing - blooming, some might say. Welcome back! Very glad to see that you are refusing to brook any kind of argument this month.

Scream I concur with the other wise preggos - you just tested too soon. That pee stick will be surrendering to your demands in just a few more days. Same goes for you Scarlet and Dream - although I am detecting an undercurrent of brooking from you Dream - stop it now! The say isn't "Brooking people get positive pee sticks", it's "positive people get positive pee sticks".

The snail trail is here good and proper. Shame OH isn't! If we can manage a Thursday morning shag we might be in the running, but I'll not hold my breath.

GenericDietCola · 16/08/2011 12:47

Hi Maybe good to see you back and my you are looking well! Glad your AF finally showed her face (well not glad, but you know what I mean). Great idea to relax a bit about it all this month and just get smacking.

dreamfeeder · 16/08/2011 12:29

Hello maybe, we've all been wondering when you're back!! What a lovely rosy glow you're sporting

minesa smacked a rat and got a BFP, we're waiting to hear from scarlett and scream to confirm soon, and I'm crossing my fingers i will too though i have a nasty AF-y feeling today

maybebabyR · 16/08/2011 11:49
GenericDietCola · 16/08/2011 10:36

Keep up the brooking Dream!

Who's next for confirmation then, is it Scarlet tomorrow? Then Dream on Friday (or weekend), followed by Scream

Any more?

dreamfeeder · 16/08/2011 09:20

and sorry, forgot to say, you just tested too early scream, you're still totally upduffed

i am going to attempt to stick to my original plan and not test until Friday the weekend.... I was always going for the 20/21st... if AF doesn't get me

dreamfeeder · 16/08/2011 09:06

Morning rRat Smackers!

I am worried AF is about to rock up- feel a bit that way. But am holding out and brooking No Argument until the last minute Smile

babysade, when i got pg with DD i was so terrified i was literally sobbing at the thought for months and praying for her to be breech so I could have a section. I totally fell out with my first midwife about it, who kept saying, 'go to all the education sessions, it'll help' when actually knowing too much and having friends and DH who have all worked on maternity and shared horror stories was the problem.... Until my hypno-CD at 30 weeks, and my transformation to I'll do it naturally which really helped and got me demanding to keep going after 20 hours of agony and an easy way out.... I was due for a section at 11 am if I hadn't progressed, managed to put off being checked til a bit after 12, and had dilated to nearly 4cm. If i can do it, you'll think it's a walk in the park Wink

farfalla, biology lessons, good skills! my friends hairdresser said it was only when trying for her second and couldn't get pg that her gp explained you had to have sex in the middle of your cycle. and she already had one child!! Hmm

how are you scarlet? Brooking No Argument I hope. Hows the backache?

GenericDietCola · 16/08/2011 08:58

Oh Scream sorry it was BFN but you know that's just cos it was too early and you are still preggers. Brook no argument.

Baby I had the same fears, being quite a private prudish person but when in labour you do not care how many people see your fanjo, you just want to get the baby out! You will be fine.

Jaggy OMG tiredness is deffo a sign! Eat a lemon slice quick, you need the sugar.

Farfalla love the decor darling. Glad you had The Chat with DH last night. My DH is probably more clueless than yours - he would have no idea and we don't talk about it as I think he would feel the pressure just like other people have described, so I just clamber on when the time is right.

How are you today, Dream and Scarlet?

farfallarocks · 16/08/2011 08:03

Morning gals,
I am glad you like the colours, F&B and a bit of Paint and Paper Library thrown in.
Lombok has gone into administation so I have managed to pick up a few bits and pieces, makes the place look quite Zen don't you think?

I love the positive birth stories.

Scream, way too early to test, I know where you are coming from though, I did the same on DH's birthday in April because I really wanted to wrap up the pee stick as a present!

Dream I admire your resolve!
I have had the least stressful 2ww ever as I know there is no chance this month so bring on AF (also due Friday) as I am absolutely brooking no argument this month.

Had a good chat with DH last night -and gave him a basic biology lesson-- as he asked if was ovulating this weekend as well as last, shish. Had to explain tghe whole fertile window chat, I mean honestly, I had no idea he was so daft.
He has agreed to be more of a sport next month so fingers crossed.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 16/08/2011 07:33

Hi ladies. Sorry to start the day off with a disappointing report, but as expected it was a BFN for me this morning. It's only 9 DPO so I wasn't really expecting any other outcome although I still feel surprisingly gutted it's just that it's DH's birthday today and I just wanted to see if I could make it extra special!

Anyway I will be staying well away from those deceitful pee sticks until Friday now. The everyday testing I tried last month was a bit soul destroying, and this month I don't want anything interfering with my positive visualisation and BROOKING NO ARGUMENT!

Has anyone else caved decided to try their luck on an early test? Or is everyone holding fast until later in the week?
