dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 20:05

i personally am sure it's nicked from work anyway Grin

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 20:05

yeah maybe, not my choice, I'm hankering for a CDB or a FR.... moral- do NOT ask your hubby while in asda, oh, sort me out a pg test....

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 20:04

ha! generic i'll be too worried about messing it up- shall leave it to DH i think, once i have provided him with the pee sample of course!!!

maybebabyR · 17/08/2011 20:00

Ramekins and pipettes Dream? Cannot wait to hear of your BFP tomorrow.

Glad to hear AF has buggered off Generic She will most definitely have got the message this month Smile

GenericDietCola · 17/08/2011 19:58

Ooh Dream sounds very scientific playing with a pipette - how can the pee stick lie when you are going to such extremes!

So much looking forward to Scarlet's double (quadruple?) confirmation and Dream's initial confirmation tomorrow - this is truly a great thread!

AF pretty much packed her bags at the end of her last visit for a very long time. Looking forward to conceiving this time and I am Brooking No Argument.

Love all the sticky food suggestions and hello to Little - hope you're feeling better about things these days.

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 19:38

and actually it is a pee in a ramekin (i'm going for Gu) and use a pipette to fire up your pee stick....

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 19:37

lol maybe, if my sex drive went through the roof my DH would dance a little jig of joy!! It actually went on a very long holiday after the birth of DD (as did his) and is kind of maybe partially returning mostly when i want a shag to ttc! So can't say i know what you mean but I don't consider myself normal!!!

and scream, I would be seriously upset at my deprivation if i was allergic to cream, how sad for you.

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 19:18

mmm, I could live on jam, syrup and honey. In fact, I have had 2 of the 3 today.

scarlet, unless I bottle out in the morning I will poas.... i used to love Heartbeat Smile, and my mum used to fancy Nick Berry

maybebabyR · 17/08/2011 19:15

Biscuits That is the best news ever, am so pleased you saw bitesizebiscuit and a lovely heartbeat Grin

Dream I have my fingers crossed for you tomorrow (please test, please, please, please)

I am quite worried about my ahem, sex drive. It has gone through the roof. Has anyone else noticed this? My poor DH doesn't know what to do with himself! I think he is pleased he is on nights this week so he can escape Wink

thelittlefriend · 17/08/2011 19:15

Biscuits your update had made me shed a little tear of happiness. I'm just so pleased for you.

dream best of luck if you poas tomorrow. (And anyone else planning on doing it!)

Biscuitsandtea · 17/08/2011 18:29

You've seen through my plan Jen. I was planning to live on jam, syrup and honey primarily!

jenfraggle · 17/08/2011 18:24

Jam is nice and sticky. Are you eating sticky food help the crumb to stick biscuits?

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 17/08/2011 17:54

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Thanks Biscuit!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 17/08/2011 17:52

Hooray for the Biscuit Crumb! Congrats Biscuit! As everyone else has said, this is a great sign! Yay for sticky beans!!

Next up is Dream! Go Dream! Go Dream! This thread is on a roll! Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I'm sorry if I've worried anyone with the pineapple stuff. I just wanted to pass on what I'd read. Seriously though, I think that you would have to have truly excessive amounts of pineapple to cause any issues, I really think that pineapple would be much more likely to cause far more immediate and embarrassing issues such as extended periods trapped in the bathroom before it affected any of our beans! (Is it bizarre that this is the kind of logic that made me feel better when I was worried about the pineapple juice!?!)

scarletfingernail · 17/08/2011 17:32

Not sure how it works dream I just know that we have to call our out of hours service to be seen on a Wednesday afternoon as the whole practice is closed. Tis a bit 1960's round here. Think Heartbeat for my GP practice.

Yes, I definitely think you should join me tomorrow. I did ask you to test with me this morning for a duo BFP but you declined. Aren't you on CD34 tomorrow? I definitely think that warrants a poas.

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 17:16

no way biscuits, i don't always root around for crumbs but if I dropped a bit of a biscuit 19mm long i'd be after it!!!!!!! Like the analogy though Grin

Oh, wavering and indecision over whether I should attempt to join scarlet tomorrow, or wait... No rush now seeing as you so rudely tested without me Wink. Your GP practice must call it 'staff training' or something, but I thought there had to be emergency cover? For my DH, the emergencies surgery finshes at 6:30, when the GP Out Of Hours service starts. Surely there can't be nothing at all on Wednesday afternoon because it'd be totally inappropriate A&E use for lots of things that can't wait- like UTI's and shortness of breath that don't really need to go to A&E. You can imagine how miffed poor DH was when he got 2 home visits rung in at 6:25 the other day!!! And one of the patients was really poorly and he was there for fricking AGEESSSSSSSSS.

havealittlefaithbaby · 17/08/2011 17:09

Lovely news biscuit Smile

Biscuitsandtea · 17/08/2011 16:36

At 19mm it's probably still a biscuit crumb! Grin

scarletfingernail · 17/08/2011 16:35

Thanks for that dream. Must be just my GP surgery that's still in the dark ages and the whole place shuts down at 12pm every Wednesday.

Ninja write everything down that you can think of that might be relevant and even if you think it might not be, including any problematic pregnancies or gynae history of any close female relatives.

farfallarocks · 17/08/2011 16:34

biscuits fab news, well done minibiscuit!

OP posts:
dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 15:51

ninja, I'd take ALL details of everything you've had (after all, informing the consultant more about your cycle/investigations etc can only give them a better handle on you) and write a list of all your questions. I always, always forget what I wanted to ask if I don't write a list. I think if you go in like that informed and objective rather than waffling subjectively they'll take more notice. And the consultant will be aiming to help you Grin Thats just an opinion, not actually useful medical advice

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 15:47

err, that i ate SHED loads, and 'were'.... blimey what poor typing

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 15:46

babysade unless youw ere eating ENORMOUS amounts, like several whole ones, it makes no difference. At my antenatal class, the midwife said categorically its only fresh, not reliable etc etc. Believe me, i ate sed loads of fresh pineapple to try and get my labour going. No luck!!! It will have made no difference.

scarlet, there is obviously still GP cover on a wed afternoon, just not my DH! GP's are employed in sessions-as in one morning plus home visits = 1 session, one afternoon surgery = 1 session so in a week there are 10 sessions. My DH works 7 sessions so finishes 'half day' on wed (usually 4pm!) and is off Thursdays.

biscuits, no need for guilt and pineapple juice doesn't count anyway!!!

Imps7 · 17/08/2011 15:45

Just logging on quickly while my office room mate gets a coffee -

Yay Biscuits! Good news! Can't imagine something that's only 1.9cm long having a heartbeat - how weeny must that heart be?

BabySade · 17/08/2011 15:38

Biscuits please don't feel bad I heard that pineapple was a good thing from
other threads & from friends in RL too. I kept meaning to try it, really its Tescos fault for putting it on offer as im a cheapskate & wouldnt have bought it otherwise Anyway all that means is I'll be getting my ironic BFP in a few weeks will cut down on excessive pineapple eating though just in case

The positivity has returned all it took was a cup of tea & a cuddle with my lovely doggy Smile Sorry guys
