Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 15:47

yet...

jenfraggle · 19/08/2011 15:36

Think you are ok for the minute cake, the chair in the middle of an empty room and spotlight with test being chanted haven't been brought into play yet...

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 15:22

Ooh, but do disclose your symptoms to date...

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 15:21

Fret not Cake, we're all brooking no argument in a nonchalent non-psycho way...no need to feel under pressure :)

CakePigeon · 19/08/2011 15:18

Grin at cakelet . Although I'm not sure I like all of the attention on my testing, it is making me nervous about poas already! I don't think I've been this nervous before, I'm not sure I can follow all of those BFPs! I am also symptom spotting like a loon Blush

May baby sounds lovely farfalla just nice and warm and not too hot

jaggythistle · 19/08/2011 15:07

scream my BFPs were a fairly pale pink too and I'm only on day 10 of a normally 12-13 day LP so I'm hiding here for now too. GrinI might look through the window to see the confirmed p-people....

although I have been advised that POAS every day till I crack open the Emergency CBD (TM - BREAK GLASS IN CASE OF ACTUAL BFP) will not tell me anything, I know I'll be ripping open another cheapie tomorrow Blush

DenyEverything · 19/08/2011 15:03

sounds good to me imps

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 15:00

Cakelet? Appreciate that's not actually a real word, but can't think of an alternative crumb-based word!

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 14:52

Shame Farfalla. It's always disappointing when AF arrives even when the chances are slim! Although on the other hand it's always quite reassuring to have a regular cycle.

Let the No Brooking SWI Plan swing into action! I'm still working on mine...

DenyEverything · 19/08/2011 14:47

Boo farfalla but agree your end of May baby is a perfect time to have one. Better weather for pram-pushing, lighter mornings etc. Late Spring is ideal - brook no argument!

DenyEverything · 19/08/2011 14:45

biscuits I totally understand you feeling worried about getting too optimistic. one step at a time and all that. We're all here to rant at/worry with whenever you're having a bad day.

there you go. Let the itch of the acupressure band take your mind off the worry for a bit.

Now, if mini-biscuit is crumb, it begs the question, what are we going to call mini-cake?

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 19/08/2011 14:44

Wow! That's excellent news MrsB!! Congratulations!!

Farfalla I'm sorry AF has shown her unwelcome face. Point her nose at this thread for a while so that she understands she's not to come back for the next 9 months!!

It's way too early for me to be thinking about graduating, I am in awe of Dream with her super-speedy super-strong line, and Jaggy with her absolute mastery of internet cheapies. I certainly won't be going anywhere until AF is actually late, and my lines are stronger. I'll be working extra hard at brooking no argument whilst I try to get through next week calmly! My usual cycle length would have AF due any time from Mon to Wed, and my unusually long cycle last month would make AF due next Friday, so I want to get right through to the following Monday before I think about graduating or calling my GP!

Looking forward to the upcoming BFPs! Cake you're next are you? Exciting!! Anyone else testing this weekend?

(lunch break over, sigh, catch you ladies this eve)

farfallarocks · 19/08/2011 14:39

Ah yes, a lovely end of May baby, perfect.

At least the wait is over now farfalla and now your DH has had his pep talk and biology lesson you can get on with brooking no argument.

CakePigeon · 19/08/2011 14:37

Sorry to hear that farfalla looking forward to your BFP next month / this month now you are on day 1 of your pregnancy Smile

farfallarocks · 19/08/2011 14:32

Just been to the loo for the 8th time in an hour and AF has started with avengeance so I am defo out, BUT properly brooking no argument for next month. So there.

farfallarocks · 19/08/2011 14:05

You lot are TERRIBLE I have been so good and resisting my urge to POAS and then I come on here and bam, tempted again!

The spotting is too late for this to me impantation unfortunately and that combined with lack of SWI makes me pretty convinced AF on its way. Promise I will test tomorrow morning though if I am still not getting proper AF by then.

CakePigeon · 19/08/2011 14:02

nothing to see here!

I may sneak in an early test on Sunday but I think I'll only be about 10 or 11 dpo that's what I'll be telling myself if it's a BFN anyway

it might be worth a test, if I've learnt anything from obsessively reading twoweekwait.com it's that spotting doesn't mean much. Fingers crossed for you :) hope it stops soon

I was sure there was someone else due to test...

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 13:51

Yeeeeesssss, so who is next to test?? Cake??? Is it you??? Or Farfalla if the spotting and cramps turn out to be nothing more than just spotting and cramps??

I'm not due for any stick peeing action until 31 August although I'm sure I'll fit a few sneaky ones in before then.

Thank you Imps and Scarlet - it's true though you ladies have kept me sane this far! I am getting more positive I think and am trying to be as confident as possible, but I find the support on here (and the ante-natal thread) to be quite unique somehow and just what the doctor midwife ordered (as it were Hmm)

I am still so so so excited for all the BFPs you ladies have been churning out. Like some of you were saying earlier I told DH last night who looked ... ermmmm.... nonplussed? at why I was telling him this - oh well that's his problem. I'm delighted! Grin

Imps7 · 19/08/2011 13:43

Oh Biscuits

Totally understandable re: lack of optimism given past experiences, but WORRY NOT!!! We've got it in droves on your behalf! If ever you feel down or worried about lack of excitement, know that every single lady in this room and in the vomitorium are massively excited for you - that should be plenty enough to keep you going til little Crumby arrives in 32 weeks (have I got my maths right?)

scarletfingernail · 19/08/2011 13:43

Thanks Biscuits I've just popped over and done a quick intro.

Like you, I won't be jumping on any buses either. At least not in the near future. My reasons are exactly the same as yours.

Who's next to test?

Biscuitsandtea · 19/08/2011 13:27

Scarlet, the Vomitorium is just through these automatic doors here.

Repeat congratulations for all those getting repeat BFPs :)

I was nervous about going for the ante-natal threads and found myself in the freak out room (as you know) but I've found the brooking ante-natal to be good too, like this thread. I'm still not going near a bus - I don't know why. I think I feel nervous that they are all so blindly optimistic and statistically some are going to get bad news (sounds like an awful thing to say but I can't help it) so I've found my little early pg niche so far! The thing is, I wish I had that optimism and excitement but once it's gone, it's gone :( It's very odd that a bit of optimism puts me off when I love a bit of brooking, but there's just something different here.

All you preggos can come along through the doors whenever you like :) And those still awaiting confirmation are of course always welcome (perhaps if you need to remind you body that you are in fact preggers?). We run open afternoons every other Wednesday if anyone would like a tour and a prospectus Wink

scarletfingernail · 19/08/2011 13:16

Congrats MrsB on your BFP. That's fantastic news.

Congratulations again dream on your second BFP. I hope that's put your mind at rest for a while.

Where is the vomitorium anyway? I had a wander around yesterday but could only find a stats thread. Could someone point me in the right direction? I might just have a quick look round and then claim my comfy chair and glittery bucket when I feel a bit more confident.

Any of you other preggos got any symptoms going on? I've got this really odd pulling sensation in my groin area, almost going into my thigh. WTF is that about, and is it normal?
