Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

OP posts:
jaggythistle · 22/08/2011 12:37

I've acquired quite a lot of new baking equipment recently, including several new tins and a cheap hand mixer so i have a lot of recipes in mind... cookies, wee jam tart things and some biscuits i fancied trying. i also have to get planning for ds's 2nd birthday cake!

scream I'm already flippin tired too, it's like walking through treacle!

i had it last time and was tested to see if i was anaemic too, as i was also short of breath at first. turned out i was just pregnant!

whether you are or not, the only thing that helped me was lots of rest, preferably sleep. i used to come home and just sleep till DH got in from work. this will not be so easy with DH and DS in the house waiting! DH is a SAHD so i guess his life will get a bit busier sometime next year...

brook no argument through your 2ww ladies, this month i found that ordering a big pile of cheap tests and waiting expectantly helped. Grin

Goodness me, so many posts to read and so little time to reply!

Ninja, not a big fan of sausage rolls. Do you think you stick something else in the oven for me?

Exciting to read of midwives' appointments being made by dream and jaggy. Hope to be joining you there soon!

Imps, I've no idea how long my LP is now or was before having DS, but my cycle was only 24 days, so it can't have been too long.

Meconium, hope that BFP appears soon. It is just a matter of time.

Hello to everyone else!

Re: breasts, I started as a D cup pre-preg and was 30GG when I was BF most frequently. Now, I have no idea what I am! DS is still feeding, now once a day, so I might go to Bravissimo to get measured again for proper wired non-nursing bras. That said, hardly any point if I am going to be pregnant in just a few weeks and then they'll just change again! Wink

GenericDietCola · 22/08/2011 12:37

Ooh Imps tingly nip = preggo.

I've looked up about the side effects of vit B complex and apparently they are rare and mostly seem to be neurological things, so perhaps I'm just a bit ill. I'm still thinking I may come off them though as I don't think I have LP defect and anyway I'm on the ante natal vitamins, which have B6 and folic acid in anyhoo

Looking forward to all the impending BFPs later this week and next!

Oh and I lol'd at 'deepest darkest Essex' as it's where my parents live!

Ninja put me down for a sausage roll! I must have pre-egg laying hunger.

NinjaChipmunk · 22/08/2011 12:31

i just use the mobile version of the site as have android not iphone. that seems to work ok, maybe worth a try? I'm liking having cycle buddies, don't think i've had them before!

scarletfingernail · 22/08/2011 12:31

Imps! A tingling nipple was my first sign about 4 days after ov. I can remember writing it on the previous thread! You are so gonna get your BFP!

BabySade · 22/08/2011 12:27

Morning! Ninja Imps and Maybe it sounds like we are all due our BFPs around the same time. Let's see if we can pull off another round of amazing BFPs. I'm not testing till the latest day AF is due which is Sunday. I figure there is no need to cos it's only confirming what I already know right?! I'll save my pennies for all the chic maternity gear I'll be buying in a few weeks Smile

Scream hope your feeling ok? Did you contact your GP? I heard that you can get stretching sensations and cramps during the first few weeks due to little squek settling in

Hope all you other pee stick endorsed Preggos are well.

Sorry if I have missed anything, it's very difficult to read everything due to stupid mumsnet app. Anyone else use the iPhone app? A few weeks ago mine crashed so I had to delete and reinstall. Now it's impossible to use as all the text/icons are huge. So if I press the icon to add a message I can't see the options as the writing is so big and I can't zoom in or out. It also won't let me flip the thread. I have reinstalled it a few times but same problem every time Angry

NinjaChipmunk · 22/08/2011 12:24

imps I think that is fine for a LP. I am on cd21 and have exactly one week left until i expect to confirm the obvious. I appear to be symptom free so I am taking that as an actual symptom.
I think I shall bake some sausage rolls, am fancying something savoury, anyone care for some?

maybebabyR · 22/08/2011 12:13

Ah, don't worry jaggy I am sure everything will be fine. Good news about making an appointment though! What are you going to bake? Smile

My Lp is normally 15 days I think Imps Yours is definitely nothing to be worried about

Imps7 · 22/08/2011 12:08

Ooh Maybe you may have Ovd on Thursday like me! This really is very exciting!

LP is normally 11/12 days. I'd like it to be longer, but I don't think it's short enough to be worried about. You?

jaggythistle · 22/08/2011 12:05

meconium your name made me :)
brook no argument with those pesky pee sticks.

right i have scrolled back on my phone to say hello properly to wants3, golden and musical. Grin i just haven't had enough computer time so have been surfing by phone, which is not especially convenient.

i suppose I'll get my finger out and call about a midwife appointment later this week. my shifts are all wrong for it though, so I'll either have to wait a few weeks, or come up with a non suspicious reason to change hours to suit. it's only one morning a week so a bit awkward. i hope i don't bump into too many neighbours at the surgery, as i always seem to there!

good luck to all the SWIers - go smack that rat.

i think i will have to do some baking tomorrow, to make it up to my colleagues for having had my head up my bum for the last few days. i am paranoid that i have done loads of cock ups that they'll be finding today. Blush

maybebabyR · 22/08/2011 11:56

Cross posts Imps Wow, a proper bona fide cycle buddy Smile

I don't chart, so I can only guess about ovulation. But, if I were to speculate, my sex drive went through the roof last week, but has now settled down again, and I had pains thursday and friday on one side, and was very bloated. so I think I may well have laid the egg. How long is your LP normally?

maybebabyR · 22/08/2011 11:53

Good thinking Meconioum Starting a diet is a sure fire way to make that pesky BFP show itself Grin

Imps7 · 22/08/2011 11:53

CD 22 too!! I'm 4 DPO - do you know if you've laid your egg yet? Futility Fiend officially wants me to test on 1 September, but in common with most of the other preggos on this thread I shall attempt a few early tests.

MeconiumHappens · 22/08/2011 11:51

BUT the sore side boobs is just for those who are NOT brooking. Since you ARE brooking, nips=uptheduff.

I keeping searching the galleries on ff and finding charts where people havent had their first bfp til day 18. Then every day when i get the bfn im checking for charts with the next day up Blush

Have found clever way of keeping impending bfp secret though. Have started atkins diet which allows for no alcohol, caffeine etc so have perfect excuses for when bfp finally tomorrow i bloody hope comes.

maybebabyR · 22/08/2011 11:50

CD22 Imps

What about you?

Imps7 · 22/08/2011 11:47

Ooops, sorry, missed a "?" there.

Imps7 · 22/08/2011 11:47

What day are you on Maybe

Imps7 · 22/08/2011 11:45

Hmm, I read somewhere that sore nips = definitely NOT pregnant and that it's the sore boob-sides that = pregnant. Something to do with different hormones affecting different parts of your boobs Confused I don't often get sore nips, in fact the last time I remember having them was in January - deffo wasn't upduffed then as we hadn't started conceiving by that point.

Haaa, Cake worry not about the SFF - it's the woman's prerogative to decide when shags are in order!

maybebabyR · 22/08/2011 11:44

Grin at putting DH in his place Cake

Imps My left one hurts too Hmm Grin It started Saturday in the gym, and I still have it!

CakePigeon · 22/08/2011 11:38

imps sensitive nips? - preggo!

scream hope your phone call with the dr makes you feel a bit calmer

dream thank you! I am obsessing over cramps and pink cm but am now clinging to the hope you have brought me Grin

Good luck to all those in the middle of shag week - I don't miss it haha DH asked for some SFF last night and I firmly put him in his place! Feel a bit bad about that now...Blush

Imps7 · 22/08/2011 11:38

It's my left boob! It's definitely sensitive - it's not just me tweaking it that is making it feel funny.

Chelmsford is great! I grew up in Colchester so have always been a big fan of Essex!

MyGoldenNotebook · 22/08/2011 11:36

wants that most certainly does make us cycle buddies! I'm new-ish (4th cycle of trying). Still have no idea when I ovulate. Maybe I should work this out? Although I do figure that if I undertake the sexing at least every other day through the cycle then I can't go far wrong. :-)

maybebabyR · 22/08/2011 11:34

No, I like it Scream

My best friend (a londoner) thinks I live in the middle of nowhere as there are fields with actual animals in them around us Smile

I'm working from home today. But I am not actually doing much work. Cannot concentrate today for some reason Hmm

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 22/08/2011 11:31

Grin at Chelmsford being deepest darkest Essex Imps!! DH has relatives out there and whenever we visit I always call it deepest darkest Essex as well! It's just a tease though of course Maybe, it's actually an absolutely beautiful part of the UK, such a sweet town - as you obviously know!

maybebabyR · 22/08/2011 11:28

Purely out of scientific interest, which boob is it Imps?
