Let's face it May 2012 is full of bank holidays leading up to an extra day off thanks to the Queen. We are all bound to get updiffed and miss the time off -(where we should be in the pub) looking after our new babies.

A bus for those who find it difficult to remember new names. Ting ting - no getting off untilk a BFP.

Starting the stats Bleats (31) TTC#1 af due 31st Aug ish

Sorry to hear that Spuddy. Good luck for month after next (no chance DP can return for a weekend of conjugal duties?), enjoy the swing!

Pipbin · 02/09/2011 10:31

Damn AF Spuddy, I was sure you had done it.

I've got a week to go until AF is due so I might see you on the next bus. Who knows.

Bleats · 02/09/2011 09:48

Floydie - that it is the best - I am made up for you.

Sorry for the rest of us with AF, but we can only keep trying (and we can at least make that fun).

Sadly ladies i have to get off the bus. AF arrived this morning in 'horses head in the bed' stylee. :(

Wont be able to try next month either as DP is away for 3 weeks. :( :(

Anyway, good luck everyone, i shall think of you all when my swing arrives. Wink

Byrnsie30 · 02/09/2011 09:18

Yay floydie congratulations!! About time our mini bus got a BFP Grin
How far on in your cycle were you? I'm always looking for an excuse to test early Wink

Let's hope this is the beginning of a long line of BFP's!!!

I've not really had any symptoms apart from tender boobs, but that isn't unusual for me, so guess I just have to wait. 6 days to go, including today! I guess I could do a First Response, but I've done so well not testing early the last few months - I'm determined to be strong!

Thanks for the reassurance mini. Some docs say 12-18 months before they take you seriously, but my doc has been very supportive (especially during both chems) so I think I stand a good chance of being heard if I go this month!! But hopefully I won't need to go (she adds, not wanting to tempt fate!)

Good luck to all. Think I'm going to be on here every day for the next week - I need the support in the second week of 2ww!! x

Spuddybean · 02/09/2011 00:17

floydie omg that's great!! well done you and DP!!

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 01/09/2011 22:12

Floydie that's fantastic news, so glad for you!

I've developed my usual pre-menstrual headache so I've cracked open an alcoholic ginger beer tonight (yum) - well, every cloud has a ginger lining...

harmonyb23 · 01/09/2011 21:34

Congratulations Floydie!!! Grin

Sorry to hear about work troubles Spuddy I am back to work on Monday after 6 weeks off (I work in a school). I really don't want to go back Sad love being at home with DS's.

No more blood in my CM. Have been having a crampy, abdominal feeling over the weekend and have seen an increase in my CM. I keep thinking AF is going to arrive because of the spotting the other day hopefully she won't show up at all this month (roll on 11th September).

Have had a nice day swimming in the outdoor pool in Yate. Have managed to get ridiculously sunburnt though Blush.

Speak soon!

180 · 01/09/2011 21:11

Evening all. Spuddy, sorry to hear about your work issues.. I hope it resolves itself one way or the other soon.

Cat and Mesea, sorry to see you go, am pretty sure will be joining you on the next month as no symptoms this month after last month's rollercoaster.

FLOYDIE WOOOOHOOOOO!! Great story and brilliant result!

minipie · 01/09/2011 18:08

OOH congratulations Floydie! And to think you nearly got off the bus...!

That's a nice story about you finding the test in the bin after thinking it was a BFN.

let's hope that starts this bus onto a roll...

Byrnsie I realise my last post may have sounded bad, I didn't mean 8 months means there must be something wrong, I just meant you now are likely to get some attention from a GP as I think they have a 6 month "rule" don't they. Anyway if make yourself a dr appointment, that is bound to bring on a BFP... (in the same vein as Pipbin's OPKs and my expensive vitamins)

FloydieDoydie · 01/09/2011 17:11

Ahhhh!!!!! BFP!!!! Grin ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it!!!! I did a test on Monday (internet cheapie) but chucked it as soon as the control line came up, thinking "ah well, didn't think I was anyway".

Found it when emptying the bin this affie and thought - that looks like a faint line, I'll POAS now, as it's surely an evap line after this long.

I kept watching this time after the control line appeared, and kept looking and looking and thought, ooo eck a that's a second line! Kept picking it up over and over again. Then did a second one - yup, deffo two lines!!!

I'm so nervous and excited about telling DP Smile. I just pray my passenger holds on Smile

minipie · 01/09/2011 16:40

Hello all. I'm still here. AF due next Weds, though OV was late this month (+ve OPK on Sat), so maybe AF will be a few days later than that.

Had plenty of SWI in the run up to and the couple of days after my +ve OPK, also been using pre-seed, so am cautiously hopeful... but got no symptoms at all Sad. Spuddy your nipples sounds optimistic! (as it were).

Byrnsie that's 8 months... definitely off to the doc with you, though am hoping for you that this is your month.

Pipbin I like your thinking. I just bought Pregnacare Conception vitamins, and thought to myself "sod's law says I'll get a BFP". Let's hope we are right... !

Sorry to all those leaving the bus, best of luck on the next one along.

Pipbin · 01/09/2011 15:48

Oh dear. All these people getting their visit from AF. We need a couple of BFPs to balance it out surely?

I'm 5DPO and starting to go mad, every tiny twinge that is most likely indigestion it making me wonder.

Another 10 days to wait until AF does or doesn't show.
I've just ordered another load of OPKs so that means I'm going to get BFP doesn't it?

Mersea · 01/09/2011 09:47

Sorry ladies can you let me off at the next stop, AF arrived today right on cue!:( Still I can console myself with the thought that my holiday to France tomorrow is to one of the beautiful wine regions and I can now happily indulge in a number of Wine tasting sessions.
It has been a pleasure riding with you and I wish you all the luck in the future, I will be poking my head in occasionally to see how things are going and who I need to congratulate on a BFP :)

Byrnsie30 · 01/09/2011 09:36

Heya pipbin I'm still here too. Just trying to keep really busy to distract myself from 2ww (8 days to go - inc today!)

Sorry to all of those who fell off, or think they might fall soon.

I'm really hoping this is our month as we gave it our all this month. 9 times in 11 days! If I'm not PG this time then I'm off to docs. Been trying since Jan, ovulating regularly, using pre-seed, taking folic acid, eating healthily and exercising as well as all the SWI. I have explored all DIY options, so if not successful now then I need to get the professionals on the job! Sorry for that ramble - guess I was doing a little check list to reassure myself!!

Good luck everyone Grin

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 01/09/2011 06:56

Well, I cracked - BFN so I guess my stop will be imminent, doh! (note to self, must become a sex maniac try harder next month!)

Sorry to hear about your work troubles spuddy. It sounds like your boss won't change so I hope you either get another job or, even better, maternity leave in sight soon.

Spuddybean · 31/08/2011 22:39

i'm here...just about. Work is long and emotionally draining (trying to second guess my boss and do everything - i got home at 9pm today). DP is working away this week - back sat. I am so tired and am starting to feel pmt symptoms, so not optimistic for pg this month.

I just want DP home to give me a big squeeze. Sorry for being a moaner :(

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 31/08/2011 22:22

I'm still here pipbin

Just trying to maintain some semblance of sanity now I'm 14 dpo... think I may crack tomorrow and poas, but then part of me doesn't want to know because I think it'll be negative, but then the other part of me really really just wants to know one way or the other...

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Someone give me a virtual slap please!

Pipbin · 31/08/2011 21:25

Anyone still on the bus? It's gone awfully quiet.

Imustbecrazy26 · 30/08/2011 18:17

Sorry to hear your having a hard time at work spuddy!

Well I think af is on her way after a 58 day cycle, thank goodness is all I can say this not knowing was driving me in sane!! Am going to try extra hard next month and tell dp he needs to cut down on the fags and beer if he wants to get a bun in this oven! Sorry ladies just full of pmt I think and I actually thought this baby making would be easy after my dd as she was an accident and I know dp loves her like his own but I know he is desperate for a bundle of joy!!

Pipbin · 30/08/2011 16:47

I hate that kind of stuff Spuddy.
Some people seem to just set you up to fail in jobs.

Spuddybean · 30/08/2011 15:53

It's a new temp job and i have been given no instructions and no handover. Just basically told to get on with it. My boss just barks orders at me and assumes i understand what they want. When i ask they shout 'you should know this by now'.

It came to a head Friday when they said they thought i wasn't capable of doing the job. I explained the actual work was fine for me but the method of communication wasn't and that i need to be shown how the processes work at least once.

She accepted my point and apologised and said we could give it another week or 2 to see if i 'pick stuff up'. She made out i had lied in the interview and kept saying it was clear i would need a 'LOT of hand holding'. She also said if she was going to use her busy time to train me in the basics from scratch i need to make a commitment and promise not to look for any other perm jobs.

But today she is just as shouty and not helping me at all.

I feel really stressed, upset and bullied but i need the job so i have to put up with comments about how stupid i am in front of the other staff who ignore me and don't help either. In fact the other women in the office purposely didn't give me the handover notes and laugh as i struggle.

harmonyb23 · 30/08/2011 15:15

Been having spotting today (3dpo) with my CM. Maybe I'm going to have early AF too Sad only CD16 though, don't know what's going on but there is only the slightest flecking of blood??? Any ideas???
