Let's face it May 2012 is full of bank holidays leading up to an extra day off thanks to the Queen. We are all bound to get updiffed and miss the time off -(where we should be in the pub) looking after our new babies.

A bus for those who find it difficult to remember new names. Ting ting - no getting off untilk a BFP.

Starting the stats Bleats (31) TTC#1 af due 31st Aug ish

That would be great, not getting my hopes up too high though (curse of the early BFN) and I don't feel any different to usual. Will have to wait it out. However SWI wise we could have done no more, so disappointing if nothing comes of all the hard work.

Today has already been a day of knicker checking as she's due between now and Thursday. Only after Thursday will I be officially late. The wait is such a killer!

Byrnsie30 · 12/09/2011 09:43

I agree stork I want you guys with me (think we started the journey together stork, would be great to continue together too!) Smile

Think I'm due about the 16th May knitty, although trying not to get that date in my head, just in case!

I really need to relax a bit now and stop worrying - easier said than done though! x

WaitingforStork · 12/09/2011 09:11

Sorry 180 didn't mean to miss you out!

Know what you mean about early testing, just can't seem to help myself though! Been a peculiar lack of BFPs on this bus, reckon you, me and Knitty are due one to redress the balance.

180 · 12/09/2011 08:50

In my defence got a BFN on Friday morning, just to check.

It's so annoying getting an early BFN isn't it! Why can't we wait? It's ridiculous and expensive.

180 · 12/09/2011 08:49

morning Stork.. I am still here. Just about.. Day 32 of a ??? cycle. Some months it's 29, last month it was 35 so who knows? Had a rather large night out on Saturday so feeling a little worried. I have been teetotal during all the 2ww up to now Grin

WaitingforStork · 12/09/2011 07:56

Morning, guess it quite quiet on here now, is it just you and me Knitty? Waiting to be chucked off one way or the other.

I'm on (does quick maths check...) day 27 of a 26-29 day cycle. No sign of af yet but I guess by typing this she'll be here by lunch! Curiosity got the better of me on Saturday and I poas but negative, then realised I was only 9dpo (max) so hardly surprising. Had got numbers wrong in my desperate for a pee, early morning state.

Still no unusually symptoms apart from my spotty face, I have three this morning - getting beyond a joke.

knittymum · 11/09/2011 21:07

Congratulations Byrnsie! That's fab news! FX for a boring, uneventful 8 months for you! So, what will be your due date?

180 · 11/09/2011 20:35

Woohoo! Congrats Byrnsie.. lots of sticky dust to you Grin.

Byrnsie30 · 11/09/2011 10:53

Thanks for all the good wishes ladies! I have been so comfy here, just wish we could all move along together.

I am currently completely paranoid that something might go wrong, but trying not to ruin it for myself by worrying too much!

Best of luck ladies x

Pipbin · 10/09/2011 15:55

Brilliant news Brynsie Hurrah !

FloydieDoydie · 10/09/2011 14:39

I knew my biscuit robbing would bring some luck! Nice to see another BFP Smile

Sorry to hear that bitch AF is doing the rounds too though.

Waiting My doctor (and Himself) laughed when I admitted how many sticks I'd peed on - DP said "now I know what you've been getting up to while I'm at work!"

How horrible knitty, some people are just insensitive idiots who need a slap Angry

Grin
WaitingforStork · 10/09/2011 14:32

That's brilliant news!!!!

Well worth the wait - congratulations!

Hopefully I'll be joining you ladies shortly but I'll just have to wait and see, won't be late until Thursday so a few days to go yet.

Enjoy your lunch x

Byrnsie30 · 10/09/2011 11:05

Morning all!

BFP THIS MORNING!!!!!

Sorry to have been such a tease, but promised myself I would wait 'til I was late!
Told DH this morning that I suspected I am PG and we did test together. Both very happy, but wary of getting too excited due to past disappointments! However, we are going to have a little celebration lunch today - can't ruin our good news with worrying about what might go wrong! Guess I'm joining you Floydie Smile

So sorry you had such a rubbish night kitty. Sometimes people can be insensitive without realising.

Hopefully there will be more good news for you ladies soon. I will be popping in for Biscuit and a catch up soon x

knittymum · 09/09/2011 11:38

Hey everyone, how's it going on this grey morning?

I'm on day 26 of probably 29, and I've been feeling really grumpy and sad. I'm totally convinced that this is PMT, and that we've not been lucky this month.

Had a really bad night last night. I went out and met up with some people, and one of them talked constantly about her pregnancy and how this, that and the other was inconvenient (they all know I had a late miscarriage in May) and whinged a bit as well. Then the conversation changed to how various people they knew had died, and whether it was a long illness or a sudden passing - they also all know that I lost my mother in law very suddenly just over a month ago. So I came home feeling totally miserable and wishing I'd never gone out at all. :(

Right, I'm off to find something to cheer me up!! Hope everyone else is having a good day.

WaitingforStork · 09/09/2011 08:03

Hello Floydie help yourself to as many biscuits as you like, not many passangers left to share them out and I'm getting chubby eating them all. Glad you're doing well, you can probably give up peeing on sticks now!

Sorry to here you were caught in the end Pipbin, she was such a tease. Enjoy a nice bottle of wine tonight, that's what I usually do, and lots of chocolate. Find a nice film and curl up and watch it with your pyjamams on. This is my default af sulk mode.

180 I hope she manages to stay away and you get a BFP eventually.

Right Byrnsie you pee stick avoiding tease, how are you this morning? Hope you have something positve to report? Floydie will be getting lonely on her bus (they obviously don't have very good biscuits!

I'm on day 24 of a 26-29 day cycle so getting close to the business end. Still got some lovely spots (encouraged by Floydies spottieness), not much else. Been finding it difficult to keep my eyes open beyond 9pm but think this has more to do with the 6am dog walks then anything else.

180 · 09/09/2011 07:40

Sorry to hear that Pipbin.

Another BFN for me this morning. Just waiting forr AF now!

Pipbin · 09/09/2011 07:01

I'm off the bus.
AF found me in the end.
Bum.

FloydieDoydie · 08/09/2011 23:10

Well at the time I thought I'd have to get off the bus - had a large clot (sorry -TMI !) but realised next day that there wast much extra blood after the initial heart-stopper of a wipe. I was sure it couldn't be implantation, but must have been!

I'm really good thanks, no sickness just a bit of nausea if my tummy is empty, slightly achy boobs (which are even more massive than usual!), the spots and mild twinngy cramps. I still don't really believe its actually true - never mind that I've had seven (yes, seven) positive tests and no period Grin

I really hope you ladies get upduffed and can join me in my lovely self indulgent whining! Heehee Smile

Pipbin · 08/09/2011 23:01

Oh, I am proper spotty right now too Floydie
When I say bleeding, it was about two days of a teaspoon worth of yuk.

How is everything going with you Floydie?

FloydieDoydie · 08/09/2011 20:37

Hello ladies - I'm still lurking about with my fingers crossed for you all, hoping for some BFP buddies to join me Smile

Sounds promising Pipbin and Byrnsie! I was (am) dead cranky and spotty, not to mention the bleed I had on CD 25 (not sure when ov'd), so hopefully you could be lucky Grin

x

Pipbin · 08/09/2011 20:19

Waiting, I'm 14 DPO now.
Two days of bleeding at 10 and 11 DPO and all stopped.

So if there is no AF in the next few days I'm going to test.

180 · 08/09/2011 15:55

Gosh it's quiet in here! Stork it's awful when you're bored at work.. have you tried the mumsnet name searcher? It's fab!

I must confess that I gave into the urge to poas yesterday, halfway through the day with a superdrug cheapie. BFN. Who knows.

I'm planning one more test first thing tomorrow as I'm off to see friends and wouldn't mind drinking quite a lot a few if I'm not upduffed. I figure at CD29, with a four day early predictor test, first thing in the morning, I should get a pretty accurate result...

WaitingforStork · 08/09/2011 08:35

Sounds like you're mananging to distract yourself nicely. I'm stuck in boring office with nothing better to do then get my hopes up and think of baby names. Today's favourites are Elizabeth Clare (would be Lizzie when little) and Ross Alexander...

Byrnsie30 · 08/09/2011 08:27

stork I can sympathise with your spot - I am quite a spotty person and also have one that moves around my face!! x

Byrnsie30 · 08/09/2011 08:24

Morning all!

Didn't realise I would cause such intrigue! Truth be told I have suprised myself and not tested yet!!! Shock

Apart from my 2 Mc's ( when my cyle was 36 and 34 days respectively) , my normal cycle has been 33 days long at the most, with the last two being 32 days long.

I am now on day 34, if it hasn't turned up by tomorrow I may face a test!

The positive is that I have no AF symptoms, apart from sore boobs! Grin

I think I haven't tested for fear of getting a positive result, only to find a few days later that it's a chem pregnancy! Sad

So I will keep you all in suspense again today - wondering about me might be a good distraction for you all Wink

My secret to patience seems to be keeping very busy. I was out all day yesterday and am off out again today.

Pipbin your symptoms sound promising - fx for you.

Good luck everyone! x
