Yes glad to hear that it should be ok carried.
DH had some bloods tests repeated which have come back awry again. Looks like this might be causing our ttc problems, it's related to his pituitary- high prolactin, low testosterone which can cause problems with his swimmers. So now I conclude it's not going to happen until that's straightened out....
Wait to hear fr results eagerly.

montymum · 09/08/2011 17:11

Glad the news at the dentist was ok carried when I taught in Year 1 most childrens teeth began to fall out so between the ages of 5 and 6. I look forward to hearing both your FR results tomorrow. After a few hours of tears and sulking I'm begining to feel more positive- maybe next month will be my month- or if noy at least I will be back at work not driving myself mad all day wondering.

carriedababi · 09/08/2011 17:03

thanks for the understandiing figaro, will be interesting to see how dds tooth gets on over the next week, hopefully won't get darker, its really nice to talk to other in a similar situation.

yes i think i'm going to crack on do a test tomorow am.
aslong as i feel calm!

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 16:55

Hi Carried,

Glad it went OK at the dentist and hope your DD is OK!

I might join you then with a FRER test tomorrow! Fingers crossed for both of us!

figaro, when i was pg with my dd, i did internet cheapies for a week, all came back neg, then i did a cb, and it came up pos staright away.

so i guess theres still a chance, although i understand you wouldn't want to get your hopes too high

well dd's dentist appointment went as well as could be hoped for i guess, i was dreading them saying theres and abcess it will need to be removed.
but theres no sign of abcess, or displacement, and its only midly grey, it may or may not get darker, usually after 3-4 weeks it doesn't get any darker but it can.
i really hope it doesn't get any darker as its not very noticable at all.
he said 80% likely the adult teeth will not be effected, but that he predicts she will start to get her adult teeth through from age 5 an a half, in 18months time, and that the lower front ones look like they come through first.
and that she had good spacing for them
i supoose there will be a fair few years of teeth coming and going, and once the teeth start falling out it will be along time before she has a proper full set again.
so i guess you get used to the gappy look after a while
he did say that "active" children that tend to have these accidents tend to turn around and do something similar two weeks later and that a second blow would make abcess etc more likey
so i feel a bit paranoid about dd banging her mouth now

so all in all he said the tooth is not dead, just there has been some damage to the nerve, how much we don't really know yet
hopefully it won't go any greyer but is possible

thanks so much for the support i feel so much calmer today, i think i'll feel calmer still tomorrow.

think i might do a first response test tomorrow.
if i feel brave/calm enough

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 13:16

There may still be a chance but I am not feeling that hopeful. We will see!

carriedababi · 09/08/2011 10:53

oh i see fiagro,

thanks for the kid wishes.

i know im a drama queen but i feel so sick at the thought of what he might say or do.

i will update later.

i really hope next month is your lucky month, unless you tested to early and theres still a chance for this month?

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 10:45

Ic = Internet Cheapie :)

Hope the dentist goes well for you DD.

OP posts:
carriedababi · 09/08/2011 10:44

oh no so sorry to hear that everyoneSad
i really thought this was going to be a lucky thread too.

figaro, whatis a ic?

have a little faith, i'll have a pray for you too, as i've been preying for my dd

about to go the the dentist in about half an hour feeling sick.
incase they say its got an absess or anything, theres a slight swelling behind the truma, hopefully it was just thetruama not an abcess causing that swelling.
can't see any sign off a pimple though, and i think that what your ment to look for in an abcess.
at least we will see the dentist soon.

if today goes well, then i might do a first reponse tomorrow if i feel stable enough!

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 09:59

Oh and to top it off, it looks like I've got thrush! I hate my body right now!!! Lol!

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 09:38

Well I caved in and tested with an ic and BFN. Just waiting for AF now.

So sorry montymum and havealittlefaith. Still keeping fingers crossed for carried.

Thought this was going to be a lucky thread after the 1st 2 bfps. I'm off to sulk for a week before trying again! Lol!

montymum · 09/08/2011 07:07

I'm out af started last night. Will keep my fingers crossed for the rest of you.

havealittlefaithbaby · 09/08/2011 06:17

My temp has dropped. I'll be expecting af in next 24 hours or so. Tbh carried I dunno how we carry on. We're Christians so we just keep praying and have to assume it's not God's timing yet. Not easy though :(

carriedababi · 08/08/2011 21:50

figaro i am so sorry for your loss.

i see your point about not testing early, but i think i perfer to know its not happned, in a put my myself out of my misery type way iyswim.

mumpty i am sorry for you loss too.
hope this is a lucky month for us all, you certainly have some positive signs

they couldnt squuuze us in today, but thye have manage to squeeze us in for tomoorow lunch time, really really hope they don't say its infected and needs to be removed.
i do feel alot calmer today and i think i'll feel calmer tomorrow after seeing the dentist, aslong as he says all looks ok, and won't need to be removed, in my dreams he will say, it may lighten back up, or it won;t get any worse, in my nightmare he wil say the tooth needs removing
just want tomorrow over with so i know what im dealing with iyswim

havealittlefaith, i don't know how you have coped with trying for 19months, i think i would really really struggle to cope, i don't think i'm very mentally strong at times, really hope it happens for you this month

i'm having a fluttering tyoe sensation uncer my left rib cage, which i know it would be far far too early to feel anything, its just a strange sensation
ive tried poas on an ovulation test as i've heardthey can sometimes show up pg too.
theres either no line or the worlds faintest line, i can't really tell.
perhaps i'll go and pee on anther before bed.
i'm only going to take a pg test on wed or fri if i feel a bit more stable after this weekends tramas
i know i am pathetic esp compared to what others have to go through but don't feel i can handle knowing right move iyswim,
althpugh hopefully tomorrow will go well and i'll feel better about dds tooth.

havealittlefaithbaby · 08/08/2011 20:48

that made me laugh!!

MumptyDumpty · 08/08/2011 18:50

Ooops meant sore boobs not saw obviously, not seeing boobs eveywhere! Not gone that mad......yet!

MumptyDumpty · 08/08/2011 18:46

I'm with you Figaro with the testing, getting a BFN and then getting AF leaves you feeling really crap.

Carried did you manage to get and appointment with the dentist?

Well I'm feeling totally crap today, have saw boobs, a migraine and lower back cramp which normally mean AF is on it's way. I'm not sure what's pissing me off more the fact that I have been feeling so positive, for what looks like no reason.... Or that AF going to show up early!

Re: TTC I had 2 MC two years ago, one after the other (6+4 & 8 weeks) after that we decided to just see what happened DP took a new job which meant he was away alot. So this is really our first month TTC properly, although havn't been preventing it for 2 years plus. I

Hope everyone is ok x

havealittlefaithbaby · 08/08/2011 18:41

been trying for 19 (!!) months! Currently udnergoing investigations - I've had hsg ouch and fanny cam. DH had some bloods and initial SA, having repeats of both of those because they weren't within normal ranges (trying to establish if they were blips or real presentation of a problem). I try really hard not to test early...wasted so much money blitzing through tests. Went a bit insane. I'm trying to wait now until after af is due (which according to futility fiend FF is Wednesday). How hard is it to decide when af is due when your cycles are irregular?!

Figaro82 · 08/08/2011 16:13

Hi find its disappointing when I get a BFN a few days before my AF arrives, so the longer I leave it the less time there is to drag the disappointment out!!! Hate knowing its not going to happen and then having to wait for my AF to turn up!

I orginally started trying in January, fell pregnant in Feb and then lost the baby in April. Been trying since then.

OP posts:
carriedababi · 08/08/2011 14:47

fiagaro do you find it more dissapointing to get a bfn than to wait for your af to come along?

how long has everyone on this thread been trying for?

Figaro82 · 08/08/2011 12:15

Any sign yet mammy??? Keeping fingers crossed for you!

OP posts:
mammyemcbe · 08/08/2011 10:38

Morning ladies Smile af due today , still no sign of it but did a cheap test and got bfn Sad this morning so I think I may have bow out of the running . Fingers crossed to everyone elseGrin

Figaro82 · 08/08/2011 10:23

I am tempted, but I am going to try and wait as I will be setting myself up for a disappointment :(

Your right though about the symptoms!!

OP posts:
carriedababi · 08/08/2011 10:16

figaro. its so hard how the pg symptoms are so alike af signs

these cramps feel just like af ones.

are you tempted to test on wed?
or will youdef wait till fri?

Figaro82 · 08/08/2011 09:57

Hopefully its a good sign for you Carried!!! Also hope the cramps everyone else is getting is a good sign!

I am waiting for my AF to turn up now. I still have cramping which I have had for over a week now. I am also slightly spotting still (nothing like what I have had over the past few days). I have no other pregnancy symptoms. When I was pregnant before I had tender boobs about 5 days before AF was due and there is nothing like that. I also have a big spot on my face!!! I normally gets spots before my AF arrives, but I didn't get any when I was pregnant before. I will test if its not here by Friday, but I can tell its coming :(. Fingers crossed for everyone else this month!
