The end of July is drawing near; SWI with DP hasn't been as frequent as hoped; and I've decided to err on the side of caution.

So. Here's a thread for anyone else hoping to make a beautiful May 2012 baby.

I am 27 and TTC #1. Been on pill for an age so unsure of cycles. Only been trying for a couple of weeks - the more I type the more I note my wild optimism!!

Anyone else who knows more about this business than I do? Please come and give me some hope that a May baby might be at all possible :)

Sorry to hear that festie, that sucks! Have some Wine...lots of it :(

Congratulations mildertduck...though I have to say luv, your language is fucking appalling! Bwahahaha! Just kidding Wink :o:o:o

Kveta · 26/08/2011 19:28

great news duck!

festiemum · 26/08/2011 18:45

Well done mildertduck Good news indeed!

I'm glad to say my body's stopped playing silly buggers with me now. After a week of being late, and piss poor bfps I am bleeding.

Would rather this than protracted waiting and worrying tbh. At least I'm back to CD1 and can carry on SWI-ing..... xxx

puzzletree · 26/08/2011 17:57

woohoo mildertduck I was just about to reply to you saying your feelings of impending AF, lots of dashing to toilet with nothing appearing, sounded exactly like when I was pregnant with DS1. I remember crying as I was so sure AF was arriving and I wasn't pregnant. But was proven wrong. Sounds like you have been too, congratulations!!!!!!!!

mildertduck · 26/08/2011 17:47

OH MY SHITTING FUCK

...I think I may have the faintest faint line on an internet cheapie. My eyes must be playing tricks on me. Surely.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

HeidiHole · 26/08/2011 16:07

GTR2882 · 26/08/2011 15:59

Good luck and hope to see some BFP's on my return Grin

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 15:55

And me GTR... get shagging honey :)

Hope the weather stays nice for you Quenelle. My friend is camping this weekend and it's going to piss it down :(

Quenelle · 26/08/2011 15:49

GTR that's what ov pain feels like for me. Get yourself on the job lady!

Have good weekends everyone. I'm off camping next week so hoping for good weather.

Happy SWIing, SSing and OVing to all.

GTR2882 · 26/08/2011 15:44

Right ladies, I am currently experiencing a sharp stabbing pain in my lower left abdoment, just a little above my pelvic bone; could this be signs of ov??? Please let it be signs of ov!!!

I'm going off for a pray!!! :)

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 15:23

Me too. I have that 'feck it, I'm going to get pished' feeling going off in my head at the moment...NOT good for a Friday night.

Rusulka · 26/08/2011 15:14

Crabby

desperateoldie67 · 26/08/2011 15:09

Blimey O'Riley!!! I've only been absent for half a day and now I'm struggling to keep up. Actually, I'll be honest, I'm not making much of an attempt. How are we all this pissy wet afternoon? :)

GTR2882 · 26/08/2011 14:48

hello notnow - nice to have you back on board!! :)

louloubellamozzarella · 26/08/2011 14:38

Hi notnow - two days searching for us, aw I'm impressed Grin

I'll check out for the weekend now (trying to control SS obsession - yeah right). Probably won't resist urge to POAS but then again I have about 30 of them (ebay moment of madness). Will update with my BFN on Monday - and will return with some more positive vibes, promise!!

Tarty i know exactly how you feel, my DH's cousins wife is pg with her second, their 1st only turned 1 in July!!!!!!!!!! Then when we went to visit, he was boasting about every time they try they are successful!! Argh drives me mad!! So don't worry about feeling bitter, i know i do!!!

Have done another OPK at lunch and this one was definitely negative, making me think that yesterday's positive means i should ovulate any time between yesterday and tomorrow, so unfortunately DH will have to endure another night of passion Grin

notnowImreading · 26/08/2011 13:27

Bloody I phone keeps losing signal and dumping my messages. I'm just checking in so I don't lose you all again - have been searching for two days! Hi everyone.

TartyMcFarty · 26/08/2011 12:55

Sorry, also grumpy and hormonal here too. Can't help feeling resentful that my antenatal friends are pg, as is my cousin whose DD is younger than mine. Things I struggle for always come easily to her Envy I know this makes me sound like a bitter old cow.

I suspect I'm PMTish. Due any time now. Hopefully I'll prove myself wrong but.no signs whatsoever.

kveta, would EPU see you? Perhaps you can say you think you're further along. Might help you to relax.

mildertduck · 26/08/2011 12:50

Well, my pizza boobs are no longer especially sore although I'm still more aware of them than I usually am... Meh. I feel very much like AF is on her way but no dice so far. I don't really feel like anything might've happened after all.

Saying that I keep feeling 'oh fuck, she's already here' feelings and rush off to the ladies'... but she's not... it's just fluid. Very strange sensation.

If there's no BFP this month I think I will have to book a seat on the July bus, as Mr Duck is away with work right bang smack in the middle of my good days. How very rude.

Rusulka · 26/08/2011 12:37

Hi Dildals, if it makes you feel any better, within a few months of meeting DH, we'd picked out 4 sets of names (2 of each) and by 6 months I was hoarding childrens' books. Around the point when we got married (year ago) I bought a baba sling... in my defence, it was reduced in TKMaxx for £22 and they're supposed to be £40!
I buy stuff when I see it, not when I need it...

And sorry ladies, I peed on an internet cheapie just to set my mind at rest, and big fat nothing. WTF? Minor moment of excitement in an otherwise drizzly day.

Better go bash out the off-key plaster. Polyfilla, here I come!

Quenelle · 26/08/2011 12:23

Kveta if you were pregnant but are not any more (obviously hope this is not the case) wouldn't you still be getting BFPs for a while? Or does it not work like that in the very early stage?

Could well be breakthrough bleeding, is it still red or just brown/reddish brown now? I had one brick red and one bright red bleed a week apart, followed by brown spotting up to at least 12 weeks last time.

Hi Dildals welcome to the May yacht. Good luck coping with TTC madness.

Dildals · 26/08/2011 12:19

Can I join too?

I have no clue whether it would be a May baby or June, July, but we've been TTC for 2 cycles now.

I am a plan-aholic too and the thought of having a baby is sending my planning tendencies in overdrive ... it's not good ...

We were planning on taking the whole TTC easy and not freak out too much about it. As if. I NEVER realised that this whole process is SO emotional!

I don't think DH understands how it throws your life around as a woman. He's puzzled by me already researching names and schools and I am not even remotely pregnant yet!

In other words - I need your emotional support! You know, the people who do actually understand what I am going on about! ;-)

x

Kveta · 26/08/2011 12:05

Rusulka - I got 1 faint positive, 1 much stronger, and one battery operated '1-2 weeks pg' (on tues). then yesterday after 2 days of bleeding, took a sainsbos one again and it was very faint. so god alone knows what's going on. bleeding has stopped today, so will wait until sunday i think and try another battery operated one (had a 2 pack). gah, this is so tiring!! got a stomach upset too, which is just adding to the delight...

if nothing seems to be happening by next week, and i get a weird test result, i'll be contacting my GP. have left it too late to do anything this week

hope there are some more BFPs over the weekend!!

Quenelle · 26/08/2011 12:01

Morning all. We've hit some doldrums here haven't we? Where are those BFPs?

I still haven't given up hope for this month. I've got a horrible headache today, you know the kind you get when you're about to come down with something? Had it on Thursday too. Could be hormones...? And I'm not sure what my boobs are doing, there's PMT-like pinching, but also sort of throbbing above the nipples, which I only experienced before when I was pg. I think. I'm probably just kidding myself. I can't shake the feeling that I should know I'm pregnant, like I did last time. But every time can be different can't it? Oh who knows!

Will definitely be indulging in a Wine tonight. And chocolate.

louloubellamozzarella · 26/08/2011 11:52

Rusulka - sounds like one good evening to me! Lost diagram = genuius but make sure it's on one big piece of paper!!

I guess health drive could help take your mind off waiting to POAS - although it sounds like you should do it tomorrow morning with those symptoms! Even if it's a BFN that kind of dizziness sounds bad - you should get it checked out! Keep us updated when you've P'dOAS Grin

puzzle and heidi.. feel the pain. I'm a seemingly endless wait for BFP/period/symptoms - anything! I've turned to Wine to take my mind of it which is really the worse timing possible isn't it...
