Let's make some May babies

The end of July is drawing near; SWI with DP hasn't been as frequent as hoped; and I've decided to err on the side of caution.

So. Here's a thread for anyone else hoping to make a beautiful May 2012 baby.

I am 27 and TTC #1. Been on pill for an age so unsure of cycles. Only been trying for a couple of weeks - the more I type the more I note my wild optimism!!

Anyone else who knows more about this business than I do? Please come and give me some hope that a May baby might be at all possible :)

Sorry to hear that Catsy; but we shall enjoy the pleasure of your company until your BFP appears :)

From doing some rough guesstimations (based on possible period dates and assumption that my cycle is 28 days having not had a cycle for nine years... Hmm), I think I'll be testing next weekend. This imaginary date is mostly to stop me blowing ££s on testing every day!

On another note, I really hope that no one looks too closely in our recycling box before it's collected next week - realised last night it contains empty boxes for preseed, conception vitamins and preg tests...yeah I'm really not that bothered about TTC, just leaving it to chance... Blush

Gutted for you Catsy :( how rubbish, hope you're ok. Good luck with the testing, I really hope all is well and it's just a case of trying again.
threecurrantbuns, glad your BFP is definite, when would your due date be do you think??
I'm just past mid-cycle now and feeling shattered from all the late night sex, hope we've got it covered now, I need a break!!!!

Oh Catsy what a shit, I'm sorry you're back on the bus!

Well, as is always the way; testing was utterly inconclusive this morning!! Did a Superdrug (which are supposed to be good and sensitive) and potentially got a VERY faint line, but it's so faint, I can't tell if it has colour in it or not, so it could very well be an evap. Did a cheapie internet stick afterwards and that was resolutely a BFN.... So, none the wiser really. Gonna have to wait til fri (when af is possibly due; but only had my merina out last month, so who knows?!!) and test test test again!!!!!

Gonna have a good day anyway!!

Hello everyone,

Any room for an extra in here?? DH and I have been TTC #1 for 3 months now, was so certain that it had been successful but the witch got me over the weekend! So we are on to round 4 and hoping to make it a successful one.

Good luck to all those testing soon :) And congratulations to those with their BFPs - hope to be joining that crew very soon!! :O

we had actually decided last month was our last one TTC#3 as it was becoming increasingly stressful and also the fact we got cold feet and scared ourselves by writing down all our outgoings Shock

Oh well, AF has just started :( so I guess my + was just a chemical pg after all. Will phone the GP tomorrow and arrange to have the day 3 tests.

Yes, that's right Heidi wedded tomorrow! Will also POAS, AF due on Friday, so tho I've done at least 4 tests already this month Blush (though not today; actually exercised a TINY bit of restraint!!); this is the one that actually could come up... We'll see.... Still weeing loads, but don't seem to be noticing the symptoms so much any more. Would love a BFP obviously, but also being at a festival all weekend, not exactly thrilled at the prospect of juggling my mooncup in an icky festival toilet!!!

Yes I give Dh supplemets too, we are following the Marlyn Glenville supplement program. It costs more, I dont buy hers but the doeses she recommends from holland and barrett, but with my history of mc want any bean to be as healthly as possible with magical sticking powers Smile.
ChocolateWindmill hope you feeling better soon, tell your docotor your ttc, some atibiotics are more baby friendly than others so s/he might give you a different type than usual.

I'm on cd8 and now realised that my husband is going away for the weekend with the boys (once a year) and it falls on CD 11, 12, 13

How bloody irritating. We're going to DTD on the morning of CD11 before he goes and the evening of CD13 when he's home and hopefully that will be OK. Don't know what day I ovulate Confused but hopefully not then!
