Morning ladies! I'm up way too early on a Saturday as we're taking a coach up t'North today. POAS first thing and I am pretty sure it's a BFN. Blue line in the little oval box and nothing in the circle. Don't know what brand it is and don't have the box, was given to me by a friend. But, no sign of AF either and I've always been pretty regular even off the pill. Should I test again in a few days?

hi mama5 -my cycles have been really irregular since they returned after having DS, so they vary from about 26-40 days. the last 2 were more like 40 days, but that's no guarantee that this one would be too. I felt very iffy the past 2 or 3 days, so thought I'd try a test, and shockingly it had a line! think by my calculations the due date is anywhere from 27th April to 5th of May, so god knows what's going on!! will be testing again tomorrow anyway, between retches :o and it was a sainsbos cheapy test :)

Catsycat Do you know how your wee smells different in early pregnancy? Sort of like sugar puffs? I think I had that smell emanating from my whole body last time, perhaps it's the smell of HcG. Anyway, DH could smell it. He believes he has actual magical powers I think.

Oh and the runs and coldy symptoms are both good signs of pg, definitely

STOP thinking about my BMs Catsy - you're right, it's quite wrong! But also quite funny! Awww crap, despite my BFN the other day, I can't help feeling that I really am pregnant - the nausea is the thing that's really tipping me over the edge on that one - in which case, I'm scheduling in my nervous breakdown as soon as I get a BFP! Then I have to tell the OH...oh this is going to be fun!

And yes, Catsy, I've seen plenty of things about sore throats and cold symptoms being a sign of pregnancy! Weird things, human bodies...

DO67 having the runs is definitely a sign of pg! I had it last time and looked it up, and loads of people have had it during early pg!!!!!!! See, now I'm getting excited about someone elses BMs, which is just wrong, wrong, wrong!!!!!!

Is a horrible sore throat a sign or symptom - have had it all morning, and it really hurts :( (sore throats always turn me into a bit of a patheetic baby!).

Kveta congrats on your BTBSFP! When were you due to test? How early did you crack?

I went to The Asda at lunchtime, and it was only as I was getting back in the car that it occurred to me I could have bought a pg test. I wouldn't have though, I am afraid of tempting fate if I get too ahead of myself.

We're going camping on my AF due date (29th) so if I'm still in the game that week I will plan to test on the Friday when I get back. Unless DH's nose suggests there is no doubt, then I may test earlier.

Thanks for the sympathy guys, I'm trying not to get too down about it! I didn't really feel very pregnant this month anyway. I don't know how to describe it, since I have no idea what being pregnant feels like!

So yeah, September is going to be the month. Everyone in my family (except my dad) was born in May, so I have high hopes!
