Let's make some May babies

The end of July is drawing near; SWI with DP hasn't been as frequent as hoped; and I've decided to err on the side of caution.

So. Here's a thread for anyone else hoping to make a beautiful May 2012 baby.

I am 27 and TTC #1. Been on pill for an age so unsure of cycles. Only been trying for a couple of weeks - the more I type the more I note my wild optimism!!

Anyone else who knows more about this business than I do? Please come and give me some hope that a May baby might be at all possible :)

Tibby, that's great. I think most people can't post on this thread any more because it's nearly full so there's another one with the same title except it says ' let's make some (late) may babies' - you should get yourself over there. It sounds as if you have some good news and everyone will be really pleased for you. Smile

Morning all, everyone very quiet this weekend. I did a test last night ..... Faintest line ever. A 'is the light playing tricks on me' type of line. Hubby could see it too and it's still there this morning. Compared it to other old ones and you can def see a line, it's still there now. So, I could hardly sleep and at 5am tested again big fat zero Sad nothing! What is going on with my body I wonder! Sad still, 4 days late today so I'm still hanging in there until I see red!

How is everyone else? X

Notnowimreading this is fabulous news. Was it the first time you mc? I did in April (got preg with the copper coil fitted). I know it's easy to think of all the if's and but's but try to enjoy it. It must be unique...

Still a no AF, no line, no nothing for me. Cycle 3 days overrun now. Welcome suggestions from anyone to bring period on....tried sex! Nothing still Blush

Well, I decided to test one last time this morning, using the expensive digital test - the idea was that if this one said 'not pregnant' or took too long to appear I would give up for the month. I used a stopwatch and 'pregnant' came up in one minute 8 seconds and the line on the stick inside was as blue as blue can be!

After the mc last time, I feel a bit as if we've lost our innocence and can't quite be as simply happy about this as we want to be. You've seen how uptight I've been about conception...now the real fun begins! My husband says I should keep my legs crossed to keep the baby in...

For now, though, little Smile

DBL checked and loads of people have stories of the coil (even just the plain old copper one) upsetting their system so all I can do is to sit back and wait for it to start.Sad

Notnowimreading...I've no faint line but I'm hanging onto clean pants!! HCG PT's never worked for my mum so you never know, I could be the same.

Also thinking (as over analysing everything)...copper only coil removed first day of last period....this then made AF one day late. Is the removal perhaps making my womb lining lighter and therefor now AF later??? Answers on a postcard!!! Wink

Mine's due today and I really thought that the test line would magically get stronger this am, but no. Still faint, still slow to appear. But AF has not yet arrived and where there are clean pants there is hope!

Morning all!

Just back from work trip.....absolutely zonked and have two tough days ahead. Thank goodness it's Thursday today at least!

I've missed 3 days so hope all are well, happy bonking and it looks as though we've had some bfp! Whoop! Sadly, not one of them. AF due yesterday and although she's still not here, I'm pretty sure she's on her way Sad. I did an Internet cheapy this morning and bfn. Trying to remain Smile

Hello, have changed my username as felt I was sharing more than I wanted the real world to know, so have updated the list accordingly. Haven't altered anyone else's dates although I know some have changed.

Sorry to hear about those who have had bad news and tough times. Congrats to the BFPs. Still haven't worked out if I have ovulated or when but swi at the moment (including when guests staying...), fortunately dh is very keen. Fewer than 14 days until AF so ov prob has either passed or not happened. Don't feel very pregnant. Don't think I am very good at this.

Sorry to hear that Catsy - as you (and festie) said, hopefully you can take some comfort from the fact that you are oving - although that probs doesn't make you feel any better right now :( Take care of yourself. Oh but please drop by if you want, wouldn't wanna lose an original team May member (even though I've probably dropped more into the June/late 2012 camp now! :)

Gosh things are flying now after a slow week on the news front.

Congrats to all the BFPs lately. I'm on day three of AF so hoooopefully by the weekend will be ready to start operation shag (no messin' with acronyms anymore - I want to be fertilised!!)

Plan of action is - test ov status with sticks every day; SWI every other day; pre-seed and conception vits all the way. Watching what I'm drinking and also have switched to decaf tea (just 1/2 cups of coffee a day now but still not bad..) Three runs a week, bootcamp once and ashtanga yoga once. Phew! I am determined when I set my mind to something. C'mon sperm, let's av you!

That's the way I'm looking at it - ov and conception happened, even if it didn't stick as you say, so onwards and upwards.

Hi everyone. We decided to go away for a few days, so haven't been around. Have skimmed the last weeks posts, and congrats, commiserations and welcomes all round. festie and kveta, so sorry to hear what happened - I know what it's like.

I finally started bleeding full on at 32 days, after spotting for 8 days. It was quite heavy, clotty and unusual. I spoke to the EPU midwife today, and she confirmed what I knew - that it was a CP (she wasn't too impressed with the GP's "faulty pg test" theory!!!). Annoyingly, I was away for day 3 of the bleed, so couldn't even go for the day 3 tests (not sure if they would have given a proper result anyway under the circs). I can't see my GP till Thursday next week, but will ask him to put this on my record, and see if he can do the progesterone tests this month. At least I'm ovulating/conceiving even if it didn't stick...

Hope to see some of you on another bus sometime soon, but might go and lurk on our old mc thread for a bit while I stop feeling sorry for myself. :(

wow this thread can really move fast! Well congrats to the BFP and sorry about the BFN :(

I am on 10dpo i think and BFN this evening not even a faint glimmer of a line. Have had ZERO symptoms anyway so not holding out much hope... it's just irritating!! I want a baby! :)

Am waiting hopefully that we get some more positives, it is so cheering when you read that someone has had good news!

Hello ladies have not been on for a couple of datya am on my hollibobs so time is limited! But my gosh a lot has been going on! Congrats to those newly BFPers!!! notnow a line is a line no matter how faint and the fact they keep on coming can only be a good sign! I will hold back congrats until you are 100% don't want to jinx it :)

I am currently on 7dpo and had a temp dip that went below my coverline! I also have lots of creamy cm - can anyone else relate to this? We bd'd two days before ov, day if ov and day after ov! I am going crazy thinking I might be pg! Too early to test (might test Friday) but have been feeling crampy, nauseous, but in a really good mood!! So confused Confused

Good luck to you too notnow. I see you're not due af till tomorrow, so the getting a fp on Superdrug but nothing else sounds promising - I'm pretty sure they're one of the most sensitive tests.
