Hi Lugsie and all!

Was at FP clinic last night and they were so super helpful. She did a preg test and unbelievably as the pee past over, a line appeared....and they a minute later disappeared! She did a second and negative. It's never happened in all her years of nursing so she called the on duty doc who said they want to see me ASAP for a scan to see what's going on, hopefully today. I'm waiting for a call today.

They're concerned about me having two positives (the picture I showed her she said was a positive) but lots of negatives, no bleeding still and cramps.

At least definitively this will resolve the situation!

Oh tibby I'm sorry its taking so long for you to find out. On the plus side you're 8 days late now and the doctors have already said that the coil has nothing to do with it. Have you tested again the last couple of days? Keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you.

Welcome zulu There's quite a few of us on this thread who it seems to be taking a while longer for too so you're in good company - I've been trying since around March-ish so not quite as long as you but can definitely sympathise with how stressful the whole thing is. Hope your doctors appointment goes well. Add yourself to the stats!

Hang in there - the symptoms all sound v positive! I had a similar heightened sense of smell/taste thing v early on with my DD - it was the first thing that made me reckon I could be upduffed..

I'm new to this thread, despite having lurked for a few weeks I haven't been brave enough to post. Think I've been in denial about how long it is taking this time..
Basically trying to conceive #2 since December (so I think 10 or 11 cycles now), UCL 26 days and now 10dpo.
BFN again this morning (AF due 9th Sept) so have finally decided to see Dr next week to talk through options and next steps.. Have been on Fertility Friend since May so have some charts I can print out and hope they can interpret!

Lugsi-AF was due 31st August.

Braggers and all, went to the doctors and she sent me packing. Said I was probably pregnant but usually two weeks post period before the majority if people knew.??? Who knows! Sitting tight now with my very sore boobs. Either AF is on route or I'm pregnant...simple as that!

I've discounted other options such as coil (copper only) removal disrupting cycle. Two doctors have both said unheard of now so that's something.

Yeah i know wouldbe i feel like we have been here a life time. One by one the people who have been here from the start have made it over to the BFP's which although im really happy for them it feels like we should have joined them by now. Maybe im just impatient :(

CD10 today and DH just got back from a few nights away, so straight on with the swi! we're off on holiday in a couple of days, so really hoping that with lots of relaxation and swi, maybe we're in with a chance this month.

Hello all! Tested this morning and could hardly see a line but have come home and couldn't resist (thank goodness they are only cheapies!) and the line is definitely getting stronger! Saving a clearblue for if it gets stronger.

Crampy all day, was so sure AF was coming but nothing. Kept feeling (sorry if tmi) 'wet' all morning too grim...kept going to the loo and expecting AF...nothing as I said though.

Have the magic line per stick here (hardly bold) faint still but absolute line. My hubby did one too to check it wasn't the test and no line lol.

Need a glowing line to be convinced though!

Any news from anyone else?

Dh and I entered our 14th month ttc at the start of this month. Af still hasn't been since March, but... I've been feeling sick in the mornings, more tired than normal... put it down to wishful thinking. But poased this morning and got a bfp! Can't actually believe it.

Don't lose hope tibby. I tested on 3 days after AF was due on a CB digital an got bfn. Then pushed it to the back of my mind until 8 days after AF was due and got lots of unmistakeable bfps. So basically just try and stay cool and calm about it all. Don't test constantly otherwise it'll wind you up in knots.

Been seeing some ew mucus this weekend but haven't bothered with an opk as DP is away til tomorrow. Really hope I do ovulate normally following the mc... So gona swi big time tomorrow eve

Having read this back I don't think I'm big on peeing on sticks. Makes me too upset/wound up!

Thanks mitm. I did a test last night ..... Faintest line ever. A is the light playing tricks on me type of line. Hubby could see it too and it's still there this morning. Compared it to other old ones and you can def see a line, it's still there now. So, I could hardly sleep and at 5am tested again big fat zero nothing! What is going on with my body I wonder! x

I don't know much about the coil but when I was pg I didn't get a BFP until AF was 7 days late. So you never know...

Totally understand. Hate the thought of being apart if I was oving. I've not yet tried the OV tests but I may further down the line if a result is slow (inexistent)!

For me, AF 3 days late but BFN. I am 28 days clockwork and have been for as long as I can remember. At most I'm a day late but if anything I'm a day early.

Done two types of cheapies and both negative.

All I can think is that the copper coil removal, despite 0 hormones has disrupted things. I had it removed day 1 of my last period. The AF last month was just about to start and then after removal, suddenly stopped. Then a day later, started again and a normal. 3 days as usual and so the month continued. Had OV pains but no OV spotting (sometimes do). Spoke to doc and said the iud removal can cause a disruption but it's rare. Sounded like a response for something they couldn't explain to me!

This is the last thing I expected to have a problem with.

Another alternative, have gained weight this year (2 stones ) could it be this. Last month gained 2 pounds so not masses!!
