Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying the weekend so far?

impatient I like your idea of tempting fate - I may just order myself a huge pile of expensive conception goodies then hopefully not have chance to use any of it! Really hope that your get your peak before you go away, and yes its nice to have a distraction when you're obsessing isn't it?!

I'm in the 2ww now, yesterday I woke up with really sore swollen boobs which are just as bad today. I do usually get this before af is due but from yesterday af shouldn't be here for another 11 days? I started to get excited wondering if that meant it was a pg symptom but I really don't think so as DH & I have both been so busy at work this month that we've hardly managed to dtd at all- one time was about a week too early for ov then unfortunately work took him away for a few nights and we didn't manage to dtd again until about 2 days after ov. So I'm pretty sure we have missed my fertile time, meaning af is expected, but why torture me with the sore boobs now? And I mean SORE! If af is coming this early then I wish it'd just bloody hurry up and get it over with! Its just weird as I'm only CD22, usually 31 days, the shortest I've ever had since I started to record my af dates is 28 days, so I'm still a week early even if af will be early this month. With that in mind, I go back to thinking maybe just maaaaybe I could be pg, stranger things have happened?! But surely I wouldn't have symptoms only about 6 dpo?! I am officially confused.com! Ok rant over! Grin

Thought we could do with a stats update to see where everyone is at, impatient I know you've had your af but couldn't update you as not sure of your new dates. Wonder how bug hearty etc are doing? freedom you're due today! Any update?

SleepyCaz (32) TTC#3 Cycle 18 (but have had 2 MC's in that time, so Cycle 7 since last one) AF due in 6 days time MIA
bugoven (28) TTC#, Cycle 3, UCL 32days, AF 8th Feb I know - now really late...
HeartyBoom TTC#2 Cycle 2 UCL 26 AF due 22-26 Feb
ImpatientOne (31) TTC#1 Cycle 5 UCL 27 days AF due 24 Feb
freedom2011 (33) TTC#1 Cycle 5 UCL 41 days AF due 10 March
RedRobin36 (20) TTC#1 Cycle 14 UCL roughly 29 days, AF due 26th March
Lugsie(27) TTC#1 Cycle 10 UCL 31 days AF due 20th March
becky78 (33) TTC #2 cycle 2 UCL 29 AF now, due again 20 March

congratulations carlita Grin

ImpatientOne · 05/03/2012 20:52

Hi everyone :) Been busy in RL and having some time away from here while AF was hanging around! Just ordered another box of CBFM test sticks and started auto delivery from Amazon - hoping it will be a good trigger and that I will need to cancel it! Wink

Had a slight panic today as realised I am away for 3 days at the end of this month... it shouldn't be my fertile time but it just might be :( while have to hope for an early peak this month! If I do manage to O before I go away it would be great as then I would be very distracted for some of the TWW!! Although I will be at a hectic work thing involving flying, drinking and the spa Hmm

Hope everyone is doing ok :)

Lugsie · 05/03/2012 12:14

Congratulations carlita! I can't believe how quickly that has gone - I remember when you got your BFP, it doesn't seem that long ago! Sounds like things went really well with you being home that evening, well done you! Fyfe is a gorgeous name Smile Hope you're all settling in well xx

eversomuch · 03/03/2012 21:29

Congratulations, carlita! Hope you're all settling in nicely.

Carlitawantsababy · 03/03/2012 15:51

Hiya, just popping in to say I popped! My gorgeous son Fyfe was born on Thursday at 36+6 weighing 8lb5oz! As he was 1 day premature we couldn't have our planned home birth but the birth was an amazing experience and we were home that evening. Hope to see more BFPs here soon! Grin

Lugsie · 03/03/2012 14:47

Congratulations ever thats fantastic news Grin

Sorry to hear about af impatient - hopefully March will be our lucky month, I quite like the idea of an xmas baby Wink

eversomuch · 01/03/2012 18:56

Thanks robin. I hope to find out the EDD within the next week. The suspense is driving me mad, but DH is swamped with work this week, so I can't really get away to the EPU and I don't want to schlepp DD along -- I'm afraid she wouldn't have the patience for sitting in a waiting room for (possibly) hours.

Very happy to hear you're having a lovely birthday.

Sorry about AF impatient. Fx for next month.

RedRobin36 · 01/03/2012 18:00

Oh my goodness!! CONGRATULATIONS ever!! Yay!! My blackberry packed in yesterday morning, got a replacement last night so just checked now and there's a only a bloody bfp!! Maybe my phone should break more often ;-)
Such good news ever, I wish you all the luck in the world and let us know your EDD when you find out :)

Thanks by the way ladies, I'm having a lovely day..stuffed full with cake that my gorgeous 2yo niece made me 'with all my favourite things on' bless her! Having a takeaway curry in a bit with all the family, remind me to change my age on the stats because I will forget!

Sorry about af impatient..that spotting for ages must have been frustrating, I bet you were kind of glad to see af! (Kind of!) Like you say onwards and upwards :)
has anyone got anything planned for the weekend? x

ImpatientOne · 29/02/2012 22:46

Congratulations eversomuch what a memorable leap day! :)

I've had a strange ol'time! After 5 days of spotting AF finally arrived yesterday - I was so glad though after all of this waiting around!!!! So my usual 27 day cycle was 31 days although lots of spotting?

Anyway onwards and upwards - glad to see the BFP and bella popping back to say hello and bring some pg luck to the rest of us!

eversomuch · 29/02/2012 19:20

Thanks, everyone!

bella, I'm really not sure about my EDD since AF didn't show when I expected (8 Feb) and I had two BFNs in the week that followed. If I'd gotten pg at ov in late January, surely I would have tested positive by 14 Feb (the last time I tested before today)? So I guess it's possible that I may have ovulated much later than expected. I'm sort of kicking myself for not testing last week, but I was trying not to be all OMG!obsessed about it, LOL.

So that leaves me a little perplexed about my EDD. I'm guessing my GP will just work from the date of my LMP in January, which means a mid-October due date; but I think a dating scan will probably reveal it to be a bit later (I'm guessing November sometime).

It still doesn't feel real. I've left the testing stick in the bathroom all day, so I see it when I go in there and think, "Wow, it's really happening!".

Thanks again for all the support. I hope there's more good news here very soon!

bugoven · 29/02/2012 17:21

Well done! Happy Leap Year to you!! X

babybrain3 · 29/02/2012 14:55

Yay well done congratulations!!! ???

bella2012 · 29/02/2012 12:00

Ahhhhhh brilliant!!! So pleased for you ever!!!!!! That is just fantastic! What great news. We night have similar due dates I think?

I miss you all on this thread! Do you know where the grads thread is? I am a totaly computer dunce so haven't found it yet. (And nor have I moved myself on the stats! Would someone do that for me next time please? Sorry for being crap!)

Big FX for everyone else this month!!

MammaInTheMaking · 29/02/2012 09:54

Yay ever congratulations :):):)

Carlitawantsababy · 29/02/2012 09:36

Congratulations ever! Grin

becky78 · 29/02/2012 09:30

Yay!!!! Congratulations ever really pleased for you, that has cheered me right up whilst waiting for the delayed Piccadilly line to decide if it wants to deliver me to work today or not :)

eversomuch · 29/02/2012 08:23

Morning all. Well, I've been up since 4am. That's when I woke up, having to pee, and figured, it's officially Leap Day so why delay it any further? So I POAS and ... BFP!!!!!!!

Really delighted (wow, is it real?) but since I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated, I've no idea about my EDD. November sometime is likeliest, I think, but we'll have to rely much more on the dating scan this time.

I'm planning to go to the EPU in the next week or two because I'm also concerned about my grapefruit-sized fibroids and how they may impact this pg. Waiting a little bit to make sure it's far enough along to be able to detect a heartbeat. Fx!

I hope this is the start of a trend!

Now must get DD ready for a journey into London Town. (Omg, how will I do it with two???)

becky78 · 29/02/2012 08:11

Thanks for the welcome everyone, it is always so reassuring to know there are other people obsessing in the same way :)! Nothing to report here, AF been and gone so now cracking on with the swi, can't keep up with ever though, I don't have the time or stamina to manage everyday, that is impressive! I'm not sure exactly when I ov as I don't use any of the tests but if it doesn't work out this cycle I might have to investigate more...

lugsie it is cool to have someone due AF on the same day, you can keep me away from the madness of testing early.

redrobin sorry AF got you but like you say if your body is regulating it will be easier to know what is normal for you - maybe it is just getting geared up for carrying a baby. In the meantime happy birthday for tomorrow and at least you can enjoy a guilt free tipple :)

Any news impatient? Let us know how your leap day test goes ever, I have fingers crossed for you both.

The best ting about these threads is that when you are waiting for your turn to come around you can get excited about other peoples testing in the meantime!

Have a good day everyone x

bugoven · 27/02/2012 23:35

Sorry should add that 20000000 per ml or more gives positive result.

bugoven · 27/02/2012 23:34

Well ... The "for him" tests are to measure concentration of sperm. They do not show quality or mobility but it was just something for him to get involved with as I seemed to be having all the fun POAS etc. They are available on Amazon for £12-£18 including postage and fairly simple to use.

ImpatientOne · 27/02/2012 15:22

Hi everyone :)

Sorry about AF cycle-buddy Robin I hope that this means mine will start today! I have had spotting since Friday (v. light) but it's definitely not AF yet??? Sorry that this is TMI but last night I got stomach cramps and thought 'oh it's definitely here' but nothing Confused I usually get 2 days of spotting before AF but on day 4 now, and CD 31 when my average is 27. My temps have dropped almost to coverline so have stopped my crazy dreaming of it being early PG spotting :(

bugoven what is this 'for him' test of which you speak??? I've never even looked so didn't know you could get anything!

Like your thinking on the leapday testing eversomuch :)
