New thread as Weimy's original thread is about to go BOOM!

We have coffee & cake for all, plus a small mountain of chocolate brownies and a stash of Wine for when AF comes a calling.

And babybrain no idea why it's happening, I wouldn't have thought it'd have an effect on TTC but maybe it's just your body trying to settle back into a 'normal' pattern? Do you use any tests (sticks, monitor, BBT) for ovulation at all? Has that been different?

Ok, I have a query.... since my mc in august my periods have got shorter as well as my cycle length. Last cycle length was 26 days, and AF lasted 2 days... Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening (not that I am complaining) or if it has any effect on ttc????

PS Was just thinking we haven't had a stats update in a while - below is the most recent list I could find so have updated it as best I can, someone let me know if I've made any mistakes! Can't change myself yet without af/bfp! freedom I've added you on, babybrain don't know your next af date so couldn't change you, ahsataN, fishpants and any other newbies - add yourself to the stats! Hi freedom so sorry to hear about your mc, fx your stay here is a short one.

My af is due today and hasn't arrived... I know I'm mad but haven't tested yet - just can't face another month of BFNs. If af still isn't here by Monday then I'll definitely test then but don't think I'm pg as I have no symptoms whatsoever. Its a bit strange though as I normally have sore boobs etc just before af arrives and don't even have that?!

morning ladies. the test was bfn and my AF arrived this morning 4 days late. i have never been 4 days late and then we start ttc and I'm late!
I'm quite relieved to be honest just want to get on with the next month now. i bought myself some ovulation tests on ebay so i can try and get it spot on. Ive only one ovary so don't ovulate every month so its a bit like trying to pin the tail on the donkey.
good news my chinchilla gave birth yesterday morning right in front of me. i didn't even know she was pregnant, two healthy babies. so a bit of good news in my house.

special hello to eurochick if you are still here - I have also been trying for number 1 for what seems like ages and to babybrain3. Starting again at cycle 1 of trying post MC although it is actually something like cycle 25 since spring 2009

still no AF and have been feeling more and more sick each day. i have bought another test to do 2night when OH gets in from work. had to get a clear blue they didnt have any supermarket own brands left.

AshataN, the clear blue tests aren't as sensitive as the cheap ones, so it may take longer for you to get a BFP using them... Fx for you Grin

yes its really confusing i did a cheap test and a faint line came up on Sunday evening and that was when AF was due. did a clear blue test last night and BFN. AF is usually regular so i could well be the stress, I'm not wasting anymore money on pregnancy tests i will just sit it out.
OH and I were convinced it would positive, never mind.

Have hope, Ahsata - maybe you are pg but didn't implant til later than you thought? If your cycles are super regular though and still a negative after 2 days then maybe just the stress is keeping Flo away? Sad

BFN Sad and af is 2 days late. its taking over my life like every waking moment is thinking am i or aren't i? so i suppose after wasting nearly a tenner on a BFN ill just sit and wait till the red lady sings.

ttc baby number 2 cycle 5 and period 2 days late, tested last night and it was a BFN but this there was a faint line so im confused.
oh is bringing home another clear blue test will it be a BFP!!!!

I would like to join!

New to MN overall and will probably have a rough time conceiving as I'm a single mother by choice and using a known donor friend, so can only 'schedule' times to TTC. (All sounds very romantic doesn't it? Ha...)

Anyway, I'm TTC #1 and this is officially Cycle 1. Cycles have been ALL messed up lately though, for over 2 years they were steady down to the hour almost, now have been Confused so bought some OPK's and hoping they work.
