New bus boarding for April 2012

sorry to all you guys waiting for AF to arrive, I feel your pain!!!

Poor you lauraloo009 that was me last week. AF didn't arrive til cd50, took three tests all bfn. Hang in there!

Morning ladies how are you all feeling this morning? First time it has been sunny in Greenock for ages so I have a smile on my face...for a change lol

jamiejay my DD has just turned 2 I had a mc last year so held off trying until now.
Would really like to know if my AF is late but seen as I've not had AF since end of March it is a nightmare. I took a first response last night and it was negative but have been having twinges cramps heavy feeling boobs and also put on weight (that could be due to my thyroid acting up) etc but still negative :( guess I'll just need to keep testing once a week until AF shows.

Hi, still officially on the March bus but wanted to save a seat - 4 days late but just used an expensive CB digi and the words NOT PREGNANT appeared :( guess that says all I need to know so waiting for AF to arrive and no idea what my cycle is doing as I am never late!

I will straddle the two with a foot on each if ok with you!

DH is quite keen on trying now but think that is more to do the 'trying' aspect!!

Seriously though, think he is worried because he and I are both only children largely because our parents decided to wait and then couldn't face starting over again with a baby. We both want two and as he's a stay at home dad part of me feels like it's almost more his decision when we have the second then me.

A couple of work colleagues have 'bigger' gaps (including 12 years!) and their children play together so don't think a gap stops them getting on.

DS is 3 years 8 months, I would have started trying earlier but DH was not that keen. Sure you will cope, but I am hoping a bigger gap won't stop them getting on well if I am ever successful!

jamiejay my ds is 6 1/2 and he can't wait to have a lb or ls.

Those of us trying for no. 2, how old is your first? DD is 10.5 months old and I'm alternating between thinking a small age gap is good and worrying we won't be able to cope!

marthamay sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I had a miscarriage before DD so know how you feel.

fretfree no real advice I can give but fingers crossed for you. AF is Aunt Flo (I think!), seems to be one of the abbreviations used on this topic - never actually use in real life but kind of habit here!

signet2012 ttc# is trying to concieve number 1, 2 etc., AF is aunt flo. Hopefully your trip on this bus will be a very short one and you'll get a BFP before the week is out!

Hiya can I please join? Now officially ttc no2 have a DD who just turned 2 last week. Not sure of cycle length as always been irregular and since coming off pill end of March I haven't had a period...though I may have been pregnant due to cramping etc but negative test today so giving up hope lol

PS - why do people use AF?

Hi - been lurking for a long time but finally taken the plunge to join a bus. Been trying for 16 months and will start IUI next month if this one doesn't work. Struggling with trying to think positively, as convincing myself that we will be successful each month makes it that much harder to deal with when my period arrives :(. Age doesn't help either but I wasn't ready earlier for many different reasons.

i have no idea what bus i should be on!!!!! Im TTC but new to this site! No idea what most the abbreviations mean currently got that list in another window to try and decipher as i go!

I do know, that i expect AF Fri - Sun and still no sign..... did a test this morning and was negative :S maybe just AF taking her time, to tease me a bit! No symptoms other than a grumbly periody pain that has come and gone over last few days.

Anything else i need to add? :)

Can I hop on board too? I'm on my first proper full cycle after a miscarriage and D&C in May. I'm feeling more desperate than ever to be pregnant again and I think coming on here might make me feel more sane about it!
