Yes, we really are in Pompeii. We did the Roman ruins this morning with M in a sling. Would never have managed (us being old codgers that is) if M wasnt under 11lbs and breastfed; though the over cast day helped. I'm just sitting here, trying to figure out where to go next - went to Sorento on the Amalfi coast this pm - but it is too posh for me - I am definitely not a yummy mummy... so thought maybe up into the mountains??
Hippy little silent prayer for you - I know you are 45, but my gran had her youngest at 46, and we all know it does happen - and if it is going to happen to anymore, just desperately want it to be you
Shandy you hang in there girl. Try not to worry too much about coping. Go google the reiki prayer for me... I think it says: Just for today, I will not worry... I think the rationale is that worrying is like using our mental energy to draw bad things upon us... not sure I believe that, but I think it's true that when you focus on positive stuff you feel better. How far along are you now?
Italian so, so excited for you. (jumps up and down) We've all been dreaming of this baby for so long, it hardly seems real that you're about to harvest the eggs.
LOL TG for that... now there's an incentive to get up-duffed.
Lou glad you had a good holiday - nearly Oct now!
Did anyone see the Facebook thread in Conception. I'm a bit of a FB addict, so culdn't help but click on it on my way in here.. It says FB is for smug-parents and smug pg people to show off. Isn't it insensitve to harp on about your pg and kids. Isn't it awful to post your scan pictures? To announce your pg on FB.. Oh well, I did all of that.. ha ha... and I posted them on my blog too... It just seemed a shame to me that people can't take pleasure in other people's good news. I was always pleased to hear friends were pg when we were trying. Sometimes FB does throw up painful stuff - llike C's friends starting school
but I wouldn't expect other people not to post stuff just in case it offended me...
Anyway, off for more pizza - love to all x
