((((mrsB)))))) I know you must feel really down to have made that decision, life sucks sometimes, a break maybe just the thing you need, finding something else to focus on with maybe a bit of baby making in the background. Look at yellow she had virtually given up hope, got herself a new job to keep her occupied and now look! Wish I could do something for you x

Sparklywine · 25/06/2011 12:24

Thanks Worm, just spent £58 in the asos sale! Pretty sensible stuff, did have the harem trousers in my basket before I remembered I was 37 and a size 14 Grin
I had to wonder who Pup was too; I don't know why I have a reputation for savagely attacking intruders innocent lurkers!
Marathon, I went to Sheffield Uni too, back in the day! We were tempted to crash Bar One but it's probably best left in the past! I met DH in the Leadmill, happy days. Had a lovely time bimbling about and reminiscing, seemed weird to be sat sedately having a cuppa in a cafe when normally we'd have been on a nostalgic pub crawl, but never mind, it's a new era.
Happy weekend everyone x

mrsb33 · 25/06/2011 12:21

Ohhhh girls sorry your all going through abit of a tough time with your pregnancys and feeling a bit green! YuckEnvy!! I don't envy that bit!
Been doing a lot of thinking recently about where I'm at in my life and how this whole mmc,ttc lark has affected me, and it didn't dawn on me till today really. My sister commented on a picture of me taken during my wedding last year and how relaxed and happy I looked! And she was so right, I did then, now I look at myself and I don't feel that way, this whole process has aged me terribly! So I've took the decition to step out for a little while.
I will keep dipping in to see how you all are, and give u some updates as and when I have anything to update but feel its time to take a break from the process before it sends me mad!
Thanks for all your support over the last few months, love you all lots, my mumsnet family.
Take care rachael x

Morning all

Glad you are feeling a bit calmer worm hurrah for vomit!

I had a nap for an hour last evening then slept 9 hours. There are only a couple of hours in a day when I don't feel sick so sleeping is a relief.

Me and dp talked about the pregnancy for the first time last night, made it all seem more real but I'm very aware I am not in the safe zone yet.

I am thinking I might have to tell work sooner as am really struggling to sit upright at my desk never mind be effective.

Can't remember how did it go with your boss pup? my main concern is that I've only been there 3 months and I do a unique role and the client wanted continuity. I guess it can't be helped but they will be less than impressed. I'm wondering if I should share the donor egg diagnosis I was given to try to show that it wasn't my intention to start a new job and get pg. I know it's not really their business but thought it might help if they understand the background. Mind you after I had been offered the job and contract signed they sent me a form asking about all contact with drs over the past 3 years. I didn't mention the mc or erpc as thought it wasn't their business and it wasn't dependent on me getting job but wonder if I could get into trouble with mentioning it now. Does anyone know?

Also has anyone tried travel bands for sickness? I'm willing to try anything at this stage.

I have to write an essay for my course in the next 2 weeks and just can't face it, would be a shame to fail at the last fence though.

Waves to all

Wormshuffler · 25/06/2011 09:33

Morning girls
I am having a reasuringly vomitous morning Envy got to admit I was testing myself by only having one breakfast, and vomit was the result!
I havn't had the pain today, guess it could be wind, just seems weird that I only get it when PG.

It just took me a good five minutes to work out who you were harassed/pup had to stalk you before I sussed it! [thicko emocion] glad you are still with us!

Well girls, if you are in the mood for parting with your cash then have a look at www.asos.com/Women/Sale/Maternity/Cat/pgecategory.aspx?cid=6413 I have my eye on quite a bit if/when I have a good scan!

Have a lovely weekend all, thanks for listening to me x

pantsandpup · 25/06/2011 08:55

wombat sorry didn't check for other posts. When are you moving? Must be coming up soon.

pantsandpup · 25/06/2011 08:53

worm I've been lounging in bed thinking of you and was wondering if you could have wind? Just that one evening quite early on I was in tears because my tummy was cramping, and it was wind! So hard to tell the difference! Hope you're ok x

wombatinwaiting · 25/06/2011 08:31

Blimey worm - you could be describing exactly the same pains I am feeling right now. I am fairly sure I can put it down to something gastro / digestive as my toilet trips this morning have not been pleasant Blush - sorry if TMI.... how are you doing this morning? REally hope there's nothing else and that your mentalling can subside. Sending hugs.

How is DP after scan yellow and how are you now you've had a bit of time for it to sink in....? Continued mentalling to be fully expected so if you still are, please don't feel bad..... I'm still v Smile for you.

Waves to all xx

pantsandpup · 25/06/2011 07:39

I did a post yesterday and it seems to have been eaten Sad, happened a couple of times lately. It is me with a new name, honest Sparkly!!

I'm on phone and forgotten everything else, brain is shot! Be back later on laptop x

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 18:39

Please don't feel bad at all worm that's what we're here for and I am sure there are many more mentals to come from me.

I really hope pains stop soon, I guess pains there could be lots of things.

The sickness is a v good sign and you are at the stage now when you might start to feel less sick anyway.

Keep us posted and I'll be here for hugs and mugs of tea.

Wormshuffler · 24/06/2011 17:54

Thanks girls
Well last time was totally different in that I never got any sickness in that PG, so I guess I should feel a bit cheered that I still have this, albeit fading. The pain is exactly the same, right at the top of my tummy. When I had it when last MC started the doctor said that it was probably another issue ,not pg related and google comes up with gastric issues when I search. They are like contractions but right at the top, feels like tummy goes hard and squeezing.
Last time it started like this on the monday, tues I had a brown wipe, red blood and cramps by friday, a scan with heartbeat on tuesday followed an hour later by complete lose. So going on that I suppose it could be gastric, and just happened to preceed the MC. Let the knicker checking commence..............
Feel bad to have said this today yellow when we should be filled with good news from your scan, hopefully I'm being neurotic, someone put me to sleep and wake me up on january the 16th!

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 17:30

Grrr just typed long post to you wo and internet ate it.

So sorry you are having thus stress, is pain same as before, is it same stage?

Keeping everything crossed for you and sending love and hugs

((((((hugs)))))))

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 17:28

Oh worm you poor thing, are the pains similar to before? I've been having all sorts of random pains this time which I don't remember from before.

Sending you much love and hugs. Please keep posting let us know how you are.

What stage did you mc last time, was it a mmc or did it just happen?

So sorry you are having this mental, have fingers and legs tightly crossed.

((((hugs)))))

wombatinwaiting · 24/06/2011 17:26

Ooooooh yellow - how fantastic to hear your news. Sorry you're feeling quite so sick but so Smile Smile Smile for you! Have been thinking about you all day but out and about and blackberry rubbish for mn.

Sorry to hear you're in full on mental worm - would you want to try and get to an EPAU or private scan for some reassurance? I am also getting tummy pains today and feeling a bit sick but no idea why....

Great to hear that you have the docs booked mrsb and would second yellow's point about going in with a good idea of what you're after. Perhas emma could give you some pointers given her recent success with docs....

Hope you are having a lovely time with your friend sparkly and had a successful shopping trip.

I feel as if I have been shopping today because..... drumroll please...... we picked up our Christchurch luggage today!! It was like Christmas opening it up and finding all the stuff we'd forgotten about! It all seems pretty intact and all there bar my electric toothbrush, but I'm really not too fussed about that one Grin

We were very brave and positive today and went full-on stroller and nursery furniture browsing today - eek! It was a nice experience though and DH was making all the shop staff laugh with his formula 1 racing impressions with the various models Hmm Grin

Wormshuffler · 24/06/2011 17:09

Ok.............so am having pains at the top of my tummy. I just searched the old jue in june thread to see if this happened last time and at what stage and it did..............so now I am in full on mental mood. Does it ever end? I actually look proper pregnant today as well and told someone.
I noticed when looking back at the old thread that me wombat and yellow all mc'd within 6 days of each other, we sure are on a bumpy ride together.
I need Wine

Wormshuffler · 24/06/2011 15:29

wellieboots · 24/06/2011 15:09

Sorry for post and run - on way to bed, but just wanted to check in on yellow - YAY!!! Grin Grin Grin - SO excited for you

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 13:02

Yeh, dd 3rd feb!

Feeling v relieved but also v sick and then worried again that it can still go wrong! Never happy am I?

Good news is hospital said I can have my care there so wouldn't have to go to group appointment. Hurrah.

mrsb33 well done for booking appt. My advice would be to go in there with an idea of what you want and some written questions. I always get flustered otherwise. I guess blood tests to check ovulation would be a good start.

Emma fingers crossed for super sperm!

Hope you are having lovely Fridays everyone!

Star82 · 24/06/2011 12:19

Yay Yellow!! Does that put you beginning Feb then like me i guess?

Sparkly, oooh, you're about 10/15 mins away from me there :). I went for my early scan in Sheffield actually, down Fulwood Road at the BMI hospital there. Have fun.

MarathonMama · 24/06/2011 10:50

Great great news yellow Grin

Sparkly I went to uni in Sheffield and bloody love it! Have fun!

Got a sick dd here so typing one handed with dd curled up in the other arm watching the Postman Pat theme tune on the telly for about the 50th time. It's going to be a loooong day....

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 10:41

All good, measuring exactly 8+1 and they gave me a picture. Must rush to work now.

Sparklywine · 24/06/2011 08:22

Oooh, good luck Yellow, thinking of you x
Have been off work, got a friend over from Sydney so am entertaining. We're off to Sheffield today for a memory lane trip and some shopping, hoping to find some clothes that fit. So glam! Like Wombat, I've just got podge, but very noticeable. Feeling very content though, it's lovely.
Waves to all x

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 07:49
