Louey at your "faking" ds! They get so crafty so young, little monkey. Yes I've had help with E whilst poorly, my Mum & Dad had him staying at theirs from Weds to last Monday I was so ill i didn't even miss him to start with but I went for a visit Sunday and bawled my eyes out when i saw him! He moved back Monday and since then the outlaws have been taking him to nursery, then to their house and back home when DH gets back, so absolutely brilliant support that I've had

MLS from my charting days, I know that triphasic is a v good sign and have fx for you. When are you testing?? To add to your potty training tips, mine is leave it as late as possible. That way you have less accidents.

My little drama queen (aka Luke) woke me up yesterday morning saying he'd been sick. Now he hadn't eaten anything since breakfast the day before because had put the wrong sandwiches in his lunchbox and instead of peanut butter, he had cheese (Isaac's) which he won't eat even though I'm sure he likes cheese. He then refused to eat dinner at the childminders (which he often does, esp when he's tired). So I thought it was a bit odd but couldn't risk sending him to school in case it really was a bug, especially as he kept going on about how he'd been sick. He then proceeded to just eat all day and generally monopolise my attention/make me watch crap childrens telly. Poor O didn't get a look in. Yesterday afternoon he said that he was going to be sick tomorrow morning so he couldn't go to school. At this point I start wondering if he's faking it. This morning he tried the "I'm poorly" line on both me and DH but we were having none of that, so he's gone. He's 4.5 going on 13....argh! I had to cancel a friend coming over for lunch too which I wouldn't mind if he really was sick, but he clearly wasn't. Right must go, have loads to do while O naps and the hairdresser is coming this afternoon to make my hair all sleek

Last day of induction week at nursery....feel like I have lived there the past week. Another hour to myself until pick up so will attempt a quick catch up.

Re the heart stuff....well I'm back in hospital on sat for an appointment, hopefully some medication will stop it happening so often. The problem being I have a hole between my top two chambers, the blood is already flowing faster due to pregnancy but in my case sometimes it forgets that it is meant to flow in one direction and goes back in itself making my heart miss beats and generally gets in a muddle resulting in faintness and all the other stuff too.

Vjay dh has just reminded me that. I lost my strings too... I had forgotten about that. The doctor located them easy enough after a quick scan and took it out for me. Hope you are ok.

Mrs Kate, glad you have some answers...hopefully you are on the road to recovery.

Right I'm sure there is more but the cleaner has just arrived and I have a few bits to do before pick up.

I came out of hospital on Tuesday night they diagnosed me with fluid in pelvis maybe infection maybe blood sent home with rest and strong pain killers

Gosh buddha that sounds horrible...glad you're feeling bit better now but not nice at all :( have only been mildly ill since having J but it really is nasty being ill trying to look after a lo. Take care of yoruself x Also fab about E's op but nerve-wracking I'm sure.

Sorry for being AWOL although looks as lots has gone on so i haven't been missed! Unable to read all the way through so apologies for lack of personals but have picked up that I need to sayCongratulations to Cupcake brilliant news
I've not made it to the pc for a little while as I've been so ill, started with a headache 5/9/11 and by Wednesday had a doctor out as I'd been vomiting, high temp and awful headache, she diagnosed a chest infection and said that the h/ache was from temp and dehydration, by Friday no better, 2nd doctor came out and said as well as chest infection I'd got a viral infection affecting the membranes around my brain bit like meningitis but not so fatal At least that explained why I'd felt so hideous! Didn't eat until Saturday so lost 10lb (see not all bad) but unable to watch tv, read or talk for anytime so today is first day I felt I could come see you lovely ladies.

Got E's operation date through Tuesday 4th October absolutely bricking so a little worried now!
I've been signed off so might try to catch up properly before my holidays Monday x
