CLOMID GANG - the new thread

Excellent news

I had my scan this morning and everything seems well. They couldn't see a heart beat but didn't expect to because as I thought, I'm not as far on as my dates suggest - they measured the sac at 9.3mm which suggests I'm 5+4 which ties in exactly with the day I got my smiley face so no surprises there. The sac is high up which is good, and I've got another scan date for 2 weeks when they should be able to see the heart beat and give me a more accurate EDD :):):):)

Back to work tomorrow!

Really good to hear that's everythings okay from you Loubie.
It looks weird seeing 2007 for your due date..doesn't seem a year ago I was looking forward to May 2005!!!

Hi, I'm a lot happier about everything today thanks for asking :)

I'm still spotting (mostly brown but red on the odd occasion which scares me to death) but I've had 2 hcg blood tests done, one when I was 18DPO and the other at 22DPO (yesterday) and the results are really encouraging :) They're both well above average and doubling nicely...my levels have gone from 628 to 2803 in 4 days, they look for the levels to double every 2-3 days and mine have done more than that so I'm well happy :):)

Also I've got sore boobs and feel sick a lot of the time and I keep telling myself that would have started to wear off by now if the spotting was because something bad had happened - I've been like this for a week now.

AF arrived yesterday (after trying to come for about a week!)
2nd cycle of clomid begins today!!

coggy, i to am confussed, i have no idea whats going on, only that i got a temp rise this morning, but i do too feel like af on herway as i am stuffing my face with saverys,

I thought it would make me ov earlier...now I am even more confused than last time I was confused!!!!
Feel like I am expecting AF...that would be extra early for me too - CD23 which is interesting...

well it looks like i might have on day 20, usally get af from day 22 to 28

the hcg jab was suppose to time the eggs release, and we did as we were told and bk when we were supposed to LOL. but yes i do believe it makes you ov later. that was why i was perscribed it

does anyone know if clomid made you ovulate, late in cycle?

well, it's not happened for me this month, only got to day 24 !! and that was ater 100mgs and a hcg jab on day 13 having had a scan with a juicy folical waiting ....... lap and dye on 2nd June, hopefully that will show up something.

Just been speaking to the nurse at our doctors who booked me in on Monday and she's reassured me no end. She said it's really common in early pregnancy (for both red and brown spotting) and that it's a good sign if it's only there when I wipe and that I've got no cramping.

She said there's no point in a scan at this early stage, and that it might worry me even more if I had one and they saw nothing (bearing in mind that because I ovulated late I'm more likely to be 4 weeks +, not 5+).

So I'm going in for a blood test at 11am and then having another one on Monday to check my hcg levels are rising. I'm taking the rest of the week off work and putting my feet up - I'm taking no chances whatsoever with this one!!

Loubie, really sorry to read this. Hoping all will be OK and it's just implantation bleeding, I think it may be too early at 5 wks to see anything on a scan (could be mistaken tho'). xxx
