So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

I'm 11dpo today, AF due today or tomorrow going in cycles when I was ttc no1. No clue about my cycles this time cos this is the first proper cycle since Nov.

Sorry to hear that izzy but aren't you only 8dpo?! It's still a bit early to consider it game over!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 10/07/2011 09:19

Tested this morning and got a BFN :-(

fishfingersarnie · 09/07/2011 22:27

Hi Ninja! DH and I are both having acupuncture and we get charged 30 quid each. If I was just going on my own then it'd be 34. She's Zita West affiliated and specialises in fertility so fingers crossed it's doing some good!
Grin

NinjaChipmunk · 09/07/2011 21:57

hello fishfinger that's some good symptoms you've got there, I'm impressed.
out of curiosity how much do you pay for your acupuncture?

fishfingersarnie · 09/07/2011 10:39

Hi all! Thought I'd join in with the symptom spotting.....am 7DPO, slight nausea, uncomfortable abdomen and back, sore nips, massive veiny boobs (lol!) but they aren't as tender as they normally are at this time, which is different for me.....Hmm
Very strange though - have spotted a few freckles near my nips which I swear were not there a few days ago???!! Is that a crazy symptom????

Have been having acupuncture for the last couple of months and can thoroughly recommend it - I have fairly regular cycles anyway but my temps tend to be quite crazy and zig-zaggy before and after ovulation and it seems to be helping with that. Also my OV day has changed from CD19 to CD18.

Gagging (literally Grin) to test but know that it's waaaay to early!!

How is everyone today?

havealittlefaithbaby · 09/07/2011 09:38

I've thought about both too. Check put local unis they tend to offer it more cheaply.
Symptoms spotting on 2ww continues: boobs continue to tingle but are not significantly tender, feel tired, some reflux. Only drank 2 of my 3 ciders last night!

NinjaChipmunk · 08/07/2011 21:02

i think i might start considering one of them if we get lucky in the next couple of months. not sure which though.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 08/07/2011 20:50

Had briefly thought about reflexology, will go have a google for practitioners in my area! will stop me staring at preg test pics!

NinjaChipmunk · 08/07/2011 20:42

oh izzy don't torture yourself. Have you thought about acupuncture or reflexology to help get it sorted out?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 08/07/2011 20:30

OMG! ive gone crazy, just been looking on fertility friend at pics of positive pregnancy tests which were obtained at 9dpo!! Argh! this wait is a nightmare!

princessamz · 08/07/2011 12:22

hey everyone,

NinjaChipmunk · 08/07/2011 09:51

ninjaboy did brilliantly and stayed dry. However it has really made me realise that was the last piece of babyhood now finished, and in a way it has made me really sad. He's growing up so fast and I'm feeling a bit desperate this morning. Must put my positive head on, maybe this will be my month.

queenrollo · 08/07/2011 09:19

izzy i can sympathise with what you've been going through. when ttc DS i came off the pill in the March and after withdrawal bleed nothing happened until the end of the June! Had very long and irregular cycles until i fell pg in the Dec. My GP wasn't interested AT ALL Angry
This time i had alternating 35/45 day cycles until i saw a medical herbalist who has got me to a regular 33 day cycle.
As much as i hate AF, being able to predict my cycle is much better than the just not knowing that i suffered before.

PatientGriselda · 08/07/2011 07:18

Wow, you've all been talkative! Hello izzy and Lisa and anyone else new I missed.

Ninja, how did ninjaboy fare?

Faithbaby, excellent symptoms, well done!!

Not much news myself. Hospital had lost DP's test results, so thank God I called to check what was happening. Results now rediscovered, and I should hear from day surgery next week for a date for the drilling.

havealittlefaithbaby · 07/07/2011 23:04

Let's add reflux and increased urination to symptom spotting to my list!
izzy that sounds tough. Why is mother nature so confusing?! Guess all you can do is keep shagging til yoy know what's going on, no wonder pure desperate to pee on a stick!

NinjaChipmunk · 07/07/2011 22:17

that must make the whole ttc thing so much more frustrating. fingers crossed its getting back to normal.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/07/2011 22:07

I stopped the pill in October and had a withdrawal bleed, then nothing for months and months. Went to GP who said we needed to be ttc for a year before they would do anything but she prescribed me progesterone. This induced a small bleed then 53 days later i had what i would class as a normal period. This was beginning of June so this is first real cycle since November!

NinjaChipmunk · 07/07/2011 22:00

thats a very long time. Any idea why it is so long? I think I'd have lost the plot.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/07/2011 21:57

Nope no other symptoms, not really sure when to expect AF as this is my first period since November!!

NinjaChipmunk · 07/07/2011 21:51

They are looking at Seaford in Sussex. Its probably about an hour from here, maybe a bit longer. I shall miss them but will also have an excuse to go see them as much as possible. And of course when I am on maternity leave with baby #2 I can go down there all I want....

only on cd4 for me. Have been putting my dates in on futility fiend and interestingly where I thought I had regular 28 day cycles, I am pretty even between 26,27 and 28 days. So Although I don't chart I do like thatit can give me averages for my cycle.

How are your unusual boobs today faith?

Any other symptoms other than peeing and boob prodding izzy?

havealittlefaithbaby · 07/07/2011 21:42

izzy excellent additional symptom spotting, that's essential on this thread. I have boob update, pain has stopped, they are tender but have been worse, also right has been 'tingling' today.
ninja hope it all goes well! Hope ninjaboy stays dry! Where have your folks decided to go to? How far is it from you? We live near the seaside (about an hours drive). Love it! Be nice to go and visit them.

NinjaChipmunk · 07/07/2011 21:31

hello izzy and welcome. step away from the stick......Grin

well, wish me luck ladies, ds has chosen tonight as the first night to go without a pull up. I do hope he manages it, I really don't fancy a full strip down and rebuild of his bed at 3am. Dp has gone out to see a band so I'm slobbing in front of the telly. On the plus side my parents have finally agreed upon a town to move to so are actually speaking to each other again, and have an estate agent coming round to photograph their house tomorrow. I'm somewhat jealous that they are going to move to the seaside! I know whose house I shall be taking over when they go on holiday!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/07/2011 21:23

Just gave them a wee prod and i guess they are a bit tender!
