So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

my dreams are not specific, and I never tell people I've dreamt about them but i do, in a way, dream about things that happen.
I've had messages from beyond in dreams, usually a vivid item or symbol and have passed messages on and they've been relevant.

When I was about 5 months pregnant with DS I had a dream that I was with this little boy and I remember everything about his features - and yes my son looks exactly like that boy i dreamt of. We didn't have a sexing scan, but I just knew that I was carrying a boy and my then partner and all my friends kept telling me to stop calling my bump 'he' as i'd be disappointed if it was a girl. But i knew and I can't explain it.

Lisa it's frustrating isn't it. I gave up temping because mornings are so erratic here that I never managed to get a readable chart. I bought OPK's but again not having a routine to the week i'm not always here to POAS at the right time so have used them sporadically and never managed to get a positive result.

Off for my blood test this afternoon. Not looking forward to it, but at least I don't have to trail to the hospital. Have been checking my diary and if I get AF on day 33 then I'm going to struggle to get my bloods done for day 2 and it will be most likely day 4. Do you think that will be a problem? This is so damn frustrating, the time specific thing when you're not sure of yoru cycle Sad

LisaJayneS · 12/07/2011 08:07

Oh wow - I really hope this is your month Izzy - fingers crossed xxx

When we bought the Duofertility monitor thing from teh way it read I thought it would use my data to be able to predict the days but now I see how it works it really is nothing that I couldn't have done myself. I feel a bit seen off (for a bit read a lot) :(

Feel so gutted if we have wasted another month (although after 18 previous fails I am not sure it would have made any difference)

izzybizzybuzzybees · 12/07/2011 07:59

lisajayne that sounds like a bit of a nightmare! That's why I didn't like temping as you could only see ov retrospectively which was no use really! The cbfm at least usually gives u high fertility days before showing your peak.

As for me now 13dpo and no sign of the witch, unusual in that last time we were ttc my lp was 11 days maxConfused

LisaJayneS · 12/07/2011 07:55

And on that topic is feeling bloated a sympton of ov-ing as felt hugely bloated all day yesterday

Still Angry........

LisaJayneS · 12/07/2011 07:51

OMG I am sooooo annoyed this morning. We have been using a duofertility monitor (potentially a HUGE waste of money) to chart tempertaures etc for ov. Now up until yesterday it was showing me ovulating LAST Monday (CD13) with relatively stable temps after that until it dropped off the bottom of the chart on Sunday and recovered a bit yesterday. Plugged it all into my computer this morning and last Monday's ov is no longer marked and the temps for Thu, Fri, Sat now show a steady decline to Sunday and then a massive increase to yesterdays. How on earth can they change retrospectively?????? Angry. If they now tell me that they think I ovd yesterday I might just explode. On the basis that we thought it was now over a week since ov there was no SWI last night so will be fuming if they change their mind!!!!

Apologies for that massive rant - Just needed to get it off my chest.......

Grrrrrrrrr

LisaJayneS · 12/07/2011 06:14

Ninja glad you're feeling better - hope you stay that way so there can be lots of SWI Wink

Queenrollo also intrigued by your dreams....

Faithbaby liking the continuing symptoms! Hopefully the temp drop was a blip. Remind me when AF is due?

Hope everyone else is doing ok xx

havealittlefaithbaby · 11/07/2011 22:20

Symptoms continue really, boobies still tender, still got reflux but managed 4 drinks! Rather than two yesterday. Presume af is around the corner though no symptoms as yet.
Glad you are feeling better ninja. Enjoy the sexing!
I'm also curious about the dreams rolllo...

NinjaChipmunk · 11/07/2011 21:25

queenrollo your poor dp, putting your back ourt is never fun, hope he gets it sorted soon. Do you actually dream about what then happens? That must be a bit weird for you.

hi faithbaby am feeling so much better today, still a bit snotty but a million times improved. I think a good nights sleep really helped. How are you and your symptoms?

wonder how griselda, dizzy and the rest are doing? not heard from them in a few days?

queenrollo · 11/07/2011 20:22

I'm having extremely vivid (and not entirely pleasant) dreams the last few nights. They have unsettled me as I am a bit 'woo' and have been known to have predictive dreams in the past.
For about three hours this afternoon I could have sworn AF was going to show up, all the same twinges and aches (tmi but since having DS my whole undercarriage aches ) and now the left habd side feels really quite tender to the touch.
I think I'm having one of those cycles with a big hormonal surge, I'm starting to feel very wiped out which is another symptom I sometimes get. I'm only day 20 of a (probable) 33 day cycle though, so I may be OV now? With my body all over the place I have no idea what's going on. We dtd last night but no hope tonight because DH has hurt his back Hmm

havealittlefaithbaby · 11/07/2011 17:16

I've had all those symptoms in the last few months. Crazy dreams can be a sign of pregnancy too but also that your subconscious is overworked! Try avoiding caffeine in the evenings, that helped me immensely!
ninja how are you feeling?

NinjaChipmunk · 11/07/2011 17:09

Sounds like you only have a few more days to wait. Can't help about the dreams though - maybe there is a lot on your mind? Moaning really is the best suggestion I can make, if only your wee turned purple or something to give you a sign!

princessamz · 11/07/2011 16:49

queenrollo last month was my first cycle of ttc and i was symptom spotting like crazy.this month has been completely different cos i havent had time to think about it.ive been completely relaxed because of the holiday and then straight back to work so i was occupied and didnt think much of it.to be honest i didnt think we had a chance this month cos we havent been at it like rabbits everyday!
im on cd 29(last months cycle was 35d) and i noticed discharge (sorry to be so graphic) around the time the ov calculator said id be ovulating.didnt have any last month.

ninja it felt like my period was coming for a week but its completely stopped now except for the extreme tiredness, sore boobs and achey back.i was thinking last night how id love to have a crystal ball and see the future!

thank you both for answering.it helps to have other people to moan at Smile
i dont know if its relevant but ive been having very vivid dreams too?

NinjaChipmunk · 11/07/2011 13:11

princess i often get bloating amd stomach cramps between ov and af, but never had itchy boobs? It seems to vary from month to month so am afraid I can't be much help. There are times when the ability to see into the near future would be very handy...

queenrollo · 11/07/2011 12:37

princess i had really extreme symptoms in the first few cycles after coming off the pill. Boobs so sore even wearing clothes was uncomfortable, feeling nauseous, cramping and the biggest mood swings in the world. The first two I experienced when PG with DS but not the crazy mood swings (that came later in the PG when hormones really got a grip!)

So many of the bodies responses to hormones are the same whether AF getting ready to show or PG, so t's very confusing and takes a while to learn to ....er....ignore. Except that glimmer of hope is hard to get rid of.

What cycle day are you? Did you get any ovulation signs?

princessamz · 11/07/2011 12:32

hi all,
no one's answered the last message i left and im still confused Confused
stomach cramps have stopped today but still feel bloated and have got an achey back.my mood is crazy too.one minute im shouting at people net im crying!due on the 17th of july so not sure if i should just ride it out or do a test.any thoughts from anyone?

hi kiki it was my first month off the pill on my last cycle.drove myself crazy with symptom spotting and did loads of tests.ended up coming on day 35.this month is different though so fingers crossed you get back to normal soon.

queenrollo · 11/07/2011 12:30

it's too low for kidneys, as my practice nurse pointed out when i had a UTI. you feel kidney pain higher up.it's kind of in line with top of my hip bone.

I've had the whole run of symptoms over the last 18 months and try not to read anything into them (i fail, naturally Grin), but haven't had this before.

It's nothing to worry about, you get all sorts of pains with hormonal stuff. Mine are different since having DS.

Is this your first ttc or do you have little one(s) already. With my PG with DS I was totally unprepared for the constant period like pain i felt in the first few weeks and was terrified until i got to see the MW who told me it was normal.

fishfingersarnie · 11/07/2011 11:47

Oooo queenrollo - I have the same backache and have had it since Friday, I am now on CD27, 9DPO.
I thought it was a kidney infection or summat as it seemed to be in one specific area but the doctor couldn't find anything wrong. Is this kind of backache normal?!
Bit worried..... Confused

queenrollo · 11/07/2011 11:41

i used to get very distinct mittelschmerz but haven't had it for months so no idea what's happening.

Today i've had some twinges and now have an odd ache in my lower back on the left hand side. Day 20 here and going for day 21 bloods tomorrow.

Morning all. Poor ninja, I hope you feel better soon. Plenty of fluids and paracetamol for you!
My temperature has plummeted so I think its game over this month. Gutted especially after all that swi.

NinjaChipmunk · 10/07/2011 20:49

hello all, I've got a horrid stinky cold and I feel like crap. My head hurts and my nose is throbbing. Bah humbug. Better be gone by tuesday so the shagathon can begin.
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

LisaJayneS · 10/07/2011 18:16

Faithbaby - Like you we're 19 mths ish ttc but ttc no 2. Have DS who is nearly 3. Know what you mean about having symptoms before - I reckon I've had them all at least a couple of times.

Still maybe this is our month Smile xx

havealittlefaithbaby · 10/07/2011 18:11

Yes very encouraging but sadly have had similar before hence feeling a little skeptical. Ttc dc#1 this will be 19 months (yikes!) without contraception but to.be fair we didn't really try Feb-April to take the pressure off. Bfp this time would be ace as it would mean no need for Hsg or pelvic ultrasound!
How about you Lisa? What point are you at? Don't despair about one low temp, could just be a blip or even implantation at this point in time!

LisaJayneS · 10/07/2011 16:26

Faithbaby WOW - you have a promising list of symptoms there!! Remind me - are you ttc no 1? How long have you been ttc. In the very nicest possible way I hope you continue to feel bad and be tired and that you get that BFP next week Smile

Izzy sorry again about that BFN - still early days though so you never know.....

I am 6dpo but not holding out much hope this month as temp nearly dropped of the bottom of the chart this morning so prob not pg. Sad

Still, to break the depressing boredom of the 2ww we have our next appt at the NHS clinic on Friday so hopefully we might get an idea of when we can move forward a bit - although I am worried that I am placing far too much hope in IUI or IVF or whatever we end up with - I mean after all the chances are still pretty low aren't they.

Well I am clearly being full of sunshine this afternoon - sorry ladies!

Hope you're all having good weekends xx

havealittlefaithbaby · 10/07/2011 16:15

My apologies then izzy. In our minds on here it ain't over til af arrives!
Welcome to kiki, being in limbo is what started this thread in the first place (though we don't leave when af arrives!). It may be af takes a little longer than expected cos the pill can do crazy things to your body.
I have been feeling rough! Off alcohol (everyone else on holidays is booting away, I'm on soft drinks), absolutely shattered (Dnephew and I gave had a nap together!). One week til testing time....
