So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

That's it! I'm staying on this thread, it's only been a matter of hours and there is a BFP already! Congratulations Dizzy, how long had you been trying? You must let us know your OH's response.
My first fertility clinic appointment is coming up in June too, looks like a lot of us will be going around the same time. We'll have to compare notes as the appointments go by.

Good luck with losing the weight bex, you have good reasons and a deadline to help you so wishing you all the luck.

I'm on cd15, too ealry to symptom spot this week I think, will see how it goes by this time next week.

lol Thanks bex, still waiting agonisingly for OH to arrive at work so I can tell him! Already thinking through who I'm going to tell, when and how. Think we'll tell all the close people and family straight away - anyone else will either find out through the gossip chain or when we get our scans and OH puts a pic up on fb. Oo, OH is at work! catch ya later Wink

My appt is 1st July. Dh's analysis is 1st June. Aiming to lose a stone by then so I'm only "overweight" no longer obese!!
dizzy congratulations. Now -breathe- get your head round it. Dh has 8 months to prepare.
You didn't test for the reasons you said! Go and have a cuppa and rhino of excuses why you can't drink/eat pate!

Ahhh, 45mins til OH arrives at work and I get to tell him he's going to be a father, why didn't I just do the test whilst he was here?

Ok just did a FR, BFP! The second line is faint, but definitely there, appeared in the first min! a bit shell-shocked actually - had to wait 'til OH had left the house cause I knew he'd be annoyed me testing so soon again, now wishing madly I could get hold of him but his phone's cut off and won't take incoming calls. As soon as it sinks in I'll start doing my crazy happy dance Grin

I'm being referred to fertility clinic. Af arrived Sunday (25 day cycle!!) So wagged to GP to say "I think I've got pcos and I'm not sure I'm ovulating regularly". He says "I agree". Checked more bloods yesterday, awaiting results. Appt 1st July need ultrasound and presume will see specialist. Suspect I'll be a clomid taker.
Sorry you've been feeling down! Glad you're chin is up a bit now.

Hey, where did the old thread go?

Hi everyone, and sorry for silence. I think it was my turn for a Week Of Despair, so I have been keeping away from MN (or trying to - I did pop onto other boards) until I was less woeful and tear-ridden about the whole wretched conception business.

Now that the old thread has gone, I can't see how everyone else has been! Any special news? Nothing new to tell here. Still not pregnant, still dwelling an annoying amount on it!

I'm starting to think the one-steps are more hindrance than.help since it's a "see something you're pg" it drives you.mad! Having said that I bought a Fahrenheit thermometer that came with 10 free. Likely to.escalate the obsession again!
Pain is being helped by co-codamol. Never going to try to survive on paracetamol only again!
ninja as I said newbies very welcome. Sounds like from the other thread you've done well with the swi?! On thus thread we like to heat details of insanity symptom spotting to show we're all as mad as each other!
patientgriselda is a regular but she's been a bit quiet, pg are you lurking?!

Good luck Ninja, I think the point after ovulation is the worst time of any cycle, so much waiting and driving yourself mad. And yes completely agree with you bex, I don't know why I can't be sensible and rational during the 2ww and just wait patiently but apparently I can't!

btw no more spotting, no AF. Went out and bought 2 FRs and a clear blue digital, am pondering whether to use a FR tomorrow incase the one-steps are just rubbish.

How's the pain bex?
