So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

Hello,

bexamundo invited me in Smile

I'm having the most crazy uncomfy boobs, they feel really heavy and my nipples are too tender to touch, but I'm only cd20, so not real symptoms, just body being hilarious!!!
The first cycle dh and I tried I had LOADS of symptoms, but of course i wasn't, we've been trying for 8 cycles now, and this is the first sniff of any symptoms since then... Although I had a fairly long cycle last month(4days longer than normal) -who knows!?!?!?!?!

Xx

Ah. We love b&q go at least once a fortnight. We looked for wallpaper last week for the playroom den and didn't like anything either. Once again he plumped for the man u wallpaper. I said over my dead body um no.
Had a nice bbq with family (leftovers). Now that Dnephew has gone like a whirlwind through the house and gone home for a bath we are doing our Sunday night ironing relay whilst watching Kelly's heroes and drinking tea. Perfect Sunday really!
Ps laughing at "ninjaboy"

NinjaChipmunk · 05/06/2011 17:27

he's not too bad, made me go to b&q though so that was tres boring and neither of us liked any of the wallpaper there! He's taken ninjaboy swimming so I'm just chilling on the sofa watching Volcano whilst a casserole cooks for dinner later.

Bexamundo · 05/06/2011 15:56

DH has got up, come to church, gone back to bed twice! And now seems to be recovering with hair of the dog....how is dp ninja?
Mmm more bbq food but not much, felt full very quickly. Good I suppose.

NinjaChipmunk · 05/06/2011 09:57

Hot cross buns for breakfast I think. mmmmmmmmmmmm..............
Grin at your dh. my dp is still in bed nursing a hangover too. May allow ds to wake him up soon mwahahahaha

Bexamundo · 05/06/2011 09:22

It's cd15 for the record.

How cool, going to the Derby! I spent the morning intensively cleaning. Had an ongoing issue with the hoover, wasn't picking up -clearly worked much harder trying to work it. One bag change and two attacks at the bottom of the hose later it finally picked up. Took me s good good to vac (and we have a bungalow so no stairs!). My friend is visiting which resulted in bbq with Muchos booze (but I.only had a few, didn't want much, is that my body saying I'm up the duff?). DH is rough as a badger's arse!
I'm guessing I'm in tww assuming I did ovulate cd 8. Never know when to test cos my cycles have been all over the shop. Last one was 24 with early ovulation...maybe I'll test cd25 if evil witch isn't here? [Scratches head and tries to work out what day it us now without looking at Futility Fiend] (love it BTW).

well done you! that's a very well deserved pat on the back!

I joined fertility friend a while back but really can't be arsed with it, it is now known as futility fiend in my house!

has been a lovely day, we went to epsom derby today which was fun, only saw one race though!

nearing the end of the 2ww, c'mon tuesday!

Bexamundo · 03/06/2011 18:35

Hmm really not sure I trust this charting/fertility friend malarky this morning it decided yesterday morning was a blip and I DID ovulate on cd8! If that's the case then yay! dtd two nights before. Not counting chickens but not in pits of despair anyway. Hooray am now only half a stone off being "overweight" and have been to gym 4 times this week (that's 4 times a week for 3 weeks!) [pats self on back].
DH kept a promise last night to dtd which was more relaxed because we have to assume my fertile phase is over. He is also very relaxed now his test is over and done with (but keeps nagging me to check about his result which is currently in process).
It's the weekend and it's lovely and sunny here. Makes me feel happy with washing on the line, windows open etc. Hmm shall I vaccuum or garden?!

Not bad, thanks. A bit sexless, but its probably a bit late for that this cycle anyway.

My bum also hurts! Mine's from cycling.

Bexamundo · 02/06/2011 21:38

Hello, how is everyone today? My bum hurts from squats at the gym!

Beautiful!! We paid 110k less than you for our 4 bed!! Move to Lincoln, houses are bargainous! We're in a pretty village about 5 miles from the city centre.
On a ttc note, temp.has dropped so FF not sure I've ovulated yet/at all. Will keep.poas opk wise and see if it's gonna happen later....

NinjaChipmunk · 01/06/2011 22:54

underneath all the twizzly curtains this house would be nice....loving their kitchen. I might have to work more than 3 days a week to afford that though!

PatientGriselda · 01/06/2011 22:43

Dying of envy of Bex's 4 bed! I'm in a London 2 bed flat too.

NinjaChipmunk · 01/06/2011 22:19

surrey/ south west london borders. It's very nice but our 2 bed flat with garden and garage cost us £288K in 2007. Its crazy. We'd like a 3/4 bed do-er up-er if we could afford it but not sure where we'd have to go to afford it!

Bexamundo · 01/06/2011 22:00

Off in July 10th I think. Having the camper makes camping for civilised! Nice to have a shower and loo!
We bide our time with our house, bought from a couple splitting up.so got a bargain! Shame for them, great for us. Pushed the boat out to a 4 bed.
Where are you ninja?

OP posts:
NinjaChipmunk · 01/06/2011 21:52

I know! I need at least 4 bedrooms I reckon. Got no chance of affording that round here, unless I come into some serious money (which would be nice). But nice properties round here are soooo nice, I want one!!!!

Ooh Bex when are you off? sounds like fun, I love camping (as long as I'm warm and dry). I need a holiday, must start planning a camping trip soon. Have you ever been to sandy balls? I might try and persuade dp to go there for a long weekend soon.

Bexamundo · 01/06/2011 17:41

We went 20k over budget to get our house! Ironically thought it needed no work doing, we were so wrong!!
Off to Somerset with DH, Dsis her DH and Dnephew Smile. Taking my Dad's camper and awning. Should be lots of fun!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 01/06/2011 15:43

I love that. You start off with your actual budget, and before you know it you are somehow looking at properties double that, and seriously considering how you could buy and live in them! Also, the bliss of assessing suitability for having babies in :)

NinjaChipmunk · 01/06/2011 15:10

A bit of research as we would like to move in a year or so but generally a bit of 'what can we get if we really stretch ourselves' kind of thing. and upping the budget to ease myself Grin

PatientGriselda · 01/06/2011 15:07

Are you going anywhere nice in July? Definitely have couple of days to potter beforehand if you can. It makes a holiday so much nicer if you are relaxed when you start it.

Property porn is my favourite thing, ninja! Are you looking to move, or just enjoying yourself?

Bexamundo · 01/06/2011 12:43

Yup working, updating cheekily on my smart phone so I don't get in trouble for using NHS computer! Am on lunch though.
Yes much like ninja sample had to be produced at home by hand! And dropped off within two hours. Can't believe It's taken SIX MONTHS! for something he did in 5 mins.3 months from initial referral to appt time then he had to rearrange due to work, another 3 months!!!!
I'm expecting a stupidly short cycle if I did ovulate on cd8, try not to panic ninja signs like that could Ho either way surely?
pg I am green with envy...I have a holiday booked for July but think I need a random few days off to potter at home before that!

OP posts:
NinjaChipmunk · 01/06/2011 12:22

PG that sounds lovely. Wish I was doing that. I am at work in an office with 2 rather unexciting people. I am trying to stay off the internet and its not working. Am looking at property porn whilst pretending to update a list of goods for a new shop opening. Ho hum, just think of the (small amount of) money!

PatientGriselda · 01/06/2011 11:59

Off work all week :) Currently lying in the sun in the garden, slicing courgettes to marinade for a nice summer salad this evening. Might see if I can persuade DP into sex as well. Currently he is WASTING this lovely day by sitting indoors glooming over his laptop. In fact, if we don't have sex soon, I will be too irritate by him to do it later :o

What about you?

NinjaChipmunk · 01/06/2011 09:40

If it's anything like the sample DP had to do then he was given a pot to fire a sample into and then told to take it straight to the hospital, and that it should be less than 2 hours old. I think the results took about a week to come back. Good luck to your dp, mine did say he found it a bit hard and that his sample was probably on the small side! Wish I could remember what the results came back as, we were just told it was normal and whenwe asked further we were actually in with the doc so didn't get a chance to write it down.
I feel rather period-y today which is worrying as I'm not due for another week and after mysteriosly coming on a week early last month I feel a bit nervous. Hopefully it's just me paying too much attention to what is going on and I bet if I wasn't ttc then I wouldn't notice it at all. At work today and tomorrow so BORING! What is everyone else up to?
