So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

OP posts:
havealittlefaithbaby · 13/06/2011 08:21

I think since you're cd50 maybe you.should just poas!

PatientGriselda · 13/06/2011 07:42

No news here. Lying in bed, desperate for a wee but arguing frantically with myself about whether to use it to POAS.

havealittlefaithbaby · 13/06/2011 06:14

Morning all! Any news? My temp is still high so evil.witch won't be arriving today I'm sure.

PatientGriselda · 12/06/2011 23:10

PS I have made it to the end of CD49 without blood! Fingers crossed for day 50 tomorrow.

PatientGriselda · 12/06/2011 23:08

Hello away and welcome! Brilliant symptom collection - i'm envious. How long have you been trying? I am quite flattered that we were considered worth lurking on!

Not really a day for being out and about, ninja. Are you very soggy or have you dried out now?

NinjaChipmunk · 12/06/2011 20:53

blimey, you lot have been busy today! we have spent a rainy day in london as mil came down (she has some conference or other tomorrow). Went to dinosaurs unleashed at the 02. Not massively impressed, the natural history museum is much better and free. But we did go from the london eye up to the 02 by boat which was very nice. Now MIL gone to her hotel to meet her colleagues, we're back home, ds is in bed and dp is cooking steak for dinner. Could be worse!
No point symptom spotting as only on cd5!

Hello to away and at everyone.

awaywego1 · 12/06/2011 20:40

thanks for your reply havealittle! I am definately doing to be poas again tommorow if af doesn't show..i dont think i was partic stressed or ill in first 2 weeks of cycle..tho its possible that i started obsessively symptom spotting around ovulation!- time will tell i guess!
How about you? Are you still holding out poas?

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 20:25

Stressing at the latter end of your cycle does not delay af, that's an urban myth! However, stress/illness around ovulation can delay that hence the late cycle. Could that be the case with you? Are you tempted to poas?
Thanks for the compliment re the thread, was basically 5dpo wondering if is cracked it that month and asked if u was in good company! Oh the wait is agony....
Might follow pgs example and have a scalding hot bath!

awaywego1 · 12/06/2011 19:44

Hi havealittle-great thread :) i'm cd29. i've just been crying at waterloo road on iplayer..if that isn't a sign of something then i dont know what is. ha.

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 19:36

My skin is very itchy too! My face looks like it's peeling!! Clearly we are in sync for our bfps!
Hello to awaywego1, welcome to thread. Excellent symptom spotting so far. What cycle day are you on atm?
(Must just confess I'm delighted I started a thread that's caught on!!)

awaywego1 · 12/06/2011 19:08

Can i join?-long time lurker- i feel like i am actually going mad!
Af due yesterday, no sign, bfn today (using 10 miu hpt) :(
I've had lots of symptoms for the last 10 days, immense bloating, nausea, big boobies -tho they dont hurt, hungry all the time, wet feeling tho no visible cm, intermittent mild cramps. I don't chart or owt tho cervix seems very high and hard. Today i'm feeling really emotional, whats making it harder is that i cant tell anyone not ttc as such. I just want to know either way. Now i just think that me stressing and symptom watching and wanting to be preggers is keeping AF away, i'm normally standard 28 days. But trying to make yourself relax is the hardest thing ever!
Much luck to everyone else waiting x

PatientGriselda · 12/06/2011 18:57

Itchy skin! Yay! Don't anyone dare suggest it's anything to do with having just had a bath :)

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 17:55

I like the whole 'randomness' effect. I may put the charting to good use and wait for my '18 above the coverline' indicator (shame I usually get to 17!).14 today. That would take me to cd26 (average cycle length).[sits drumming fingers wondering if I could actually wait that long or if the evil witch will catch me in the meantime]....Hmm

PatientGriselda · 12/06/2011 17:19

I'm going to try to leave it tomorrow (ignoring the neatness of CD50), and go for a random, casual wee on Tuesday, for full "I just did it quickly and not expecting a thing" effect. How could fate resist throwing me an extra line?

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 17:11

I have about 10 cheapies, one superdrug and one cb digital. Cheapies make my eyes go funny. I guess I'd go for mid week, shortest cycle was 24 longest 28, for a while was regular around 26 days so maybe Thursday/Friday?
princessamz sounds like jury's still out. I still prefer to pregnancy symptom spot and ignore the af signs!

PatientGriselda · 12/06/2011 17:00

I reckon you should aim to hold out as long as you can, even if just for the sake of saving sticks. Unless you have 20 cheapies, in which case wee at will. Regardless of what futility fiend says, when do you think you're due?

Am having another scalding bath.

princessamz · 12/06/2011 16:59

hi guys,
sounds like you've all been very busy!sorry to hear about the accident faithbaby, glad you're ok.
this is my first month of ttc so as you can imagine the obsessive mind is in overdrive.i have no idea when im due on as my periods have always been around 4-6weeks.last time i came off the pill i waited 49 days before my period arrived but wasnt ttc then!its currently 36 days since the start of my last period.
have calmed down on the pregnancy symptom spotting and am now period sympyom spotting!had really bad cramps monday night and all tuesday but its now sunday and still no sign of it.had a strange experience today too.got a scent of a cleaning product that i always use and it made me gag!felt sick for 2hours but then felt fine.stomach cramps have stopped, boobs feel a little sore but nothing major and the urge to burst into tears has gone(was extremely bad monday/tues).
feeling very confused at the moment and is expecting period to come at any time but each day it doesnt gives me a little hope.dont wanna read too much into it though incase i end up dissappointed xx

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 15:58

Ha in church we've been talking about how rain is symbolic of promises. Obviously we've been asking for a baby for a long time. We sang a song about 'I hear the sound of coming rain'. We walked there, got soaked Coming home!! Is it a sign?!
Seriously when do I poas? Futility fiend reckons af due tomorrow, no chance. No temp drop, no cramps. That is based on my ovulation day and two previous luteal phases of 13 and 15 days. Tomorrow would be 15dpo. Maybe I'll try to hold out a few more days Hmm

PatientGriselda · 12/06/2011 14:34

Yes, that too!

Isn't it rainy today? Obviously a sign of fertility.

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 14:28

And wondered when to poas.

PatientGriselda · 12/06/2011 14:21

By the power of grayskull, we will all get pregnant, faithbaby?!

Hi shiny! Welcome back, and poo to the stupid old witch. Nothing much happened on the old thread. We all obsessed and menstruated with annoying predictability but had a nice time chatting about it all anyway :o

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 13:50

This is how my boobies feel/look.

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 13:20

Welcome back shiny I had wondered what happened to you, we so sometimes have people come and go though.
They archive threads after a certain point so we started afresh.(it's Bexamundo BTW I had inspiration for a new name!
Having been to church I feel less like crying. Am craving chocolate though, could just be cos I ate cadbury eclairs.yesterday and stimulated my chocolate tastebuds again. Chilling at home, DH has persuaded me to watch Masters of the Universe, quality viewing!!

OooohShiny · 12/06/2011 10:29

*waves good morning

I've been missing for a while and not sure if you'll even remember me Confused

AF arrived with a vengeance this morning so that's another month down the drain...on a plus point I hadn't convinced myself I was pregnant this month so her arrival this morning wasn't such a 'woe is me' event as it has been the last couple. Cycle was shorter this month though - I wasn't due on till tue - but this seems to happen now and again, I'll be spot on for a couple of months then 2-3 days early the next.

Will go and catch up with the goss....what happened to the old thread?

havealittlefaithbaby · 12/06/2011 10:07

Nice to hear from you dizzy! Glad you've got a car. Things are on the up I feel.
Managed to get DH on his side so got some sleep but still feel shattered. Boobs are agony now! DH worried about touching me Confused. Dull lower backache so pattern fits with the arrival of evil witch. Temps still up so still all to play for. Off to church, pottering round the house later trying not to dwell on it!
