So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

You were wise not to mention anything like that to your employer faithbaby - they're not legally allowed to ask about those things, and even though they're definitely not allowed to discriminate because of it that doesn't necessarily stop them. Better to keep it to yourself.

Things are going ok for me Griselda, we move next Tuesday and are just trying to ensure we pack a bit more each day. I also only have 3 days at work left, I am looking forward to leaving that place!

havealittlefaithbaby · 21/06/2011 19:02

Thanks dizzy. I'm feeling ok. In a way its encouraged me because now I'm convinced his swimmers met one of my eggs iykwim! Want sure that was happening before. Has put me off crappy cheapo tests though, too much confusion!! Like you dizzy seeing 'imaginary' lines!
I had a funny conversation with my line manager today about the future of my job and things. She said 'anything else you need to tell me?'. 'nope, don't think so!'.

PatientGriselda · 21/06/2011 19:01

Right, well, DP has reported that he successfully filled (well, you know, partially filled) the pot and handed it in to the right department. How long has it taken any of you to get results back? My doctor said it can take three weeks, his said not earlier than a week. I want to know NOW! :)

Dizzy, you are such a love, asking everyone else how they are and not mentioning yourself. How are things going for you?

DizzyKipper · 21/06/2011 07:05

Hi ladies,

I'm really sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy faithbaby. I don't really like the term 'chemical pregnancy' - it makes it sound as though it was nothing and that you shouldn't get too upset over it. Being sad is completely understandable.

Also commiserations on upduffed friend Griselda, it's very hard to be happy for them when you get that news isn't it? I still feel a bit jealous/resentful that that work colleague of mine is pregnant and will also be getting married before me. I was engaged and planning my wedding before her, I've wanted a kid for years and she'd only been with her partner for a year before deciding to do it and got upduffed. All the good things in my life just seem to have been taken away whilst she's allowed to enjoy hers. It's not that I would want her or anyone else to go through the same things I've been through, but it still seems so unfair.

I think a room full of pregnant women and little children and babies would have driven me mad Ninja. It does sound like a good day though, what charity was it in aid of?

I'm sorry to hear about the daily struggles princess. Are you in counselling? Self esteem issues are difficult to deal with aren't they? Got more than enough of them myself.

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 22:15

Ha ha! Yes, it's a very sensitive topic!
DH and I have enjoyed some quality time this evening, I'm feeling much better now :)

PatientGriselda · 20/06/2011 21:14

You're right! The knowledge that this thread knew what he was doing would put the most virile men off their stroke for a moment or two!

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 20:40

Oh yes, DP's jizzing day. I'd say wish him luck but not sure he'd want to hear it!
Enjoy your bath pg.

PatientGriselda · 20/06/2011 20:32

You sound delicious and most sex-worthy. No sexing here, before tomorow's thrilling cup-spoffing!

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 20:24

Ha just had to take my own advice! Yeah DH and I looked at ot for a while but didn't really believe it, wanted more proof before saying anything, then bfn again! (Did two different test types at same time Thursday). Anyways had yummy bath with body scrub, shaved and now moisturised. Am officially gorgeous in anticipation of sexing!

PatientGriselda · 20/06/2011 20:02

Faithbabes, I can't believe you didn't tell us! But I can understand the desire to be more certain before saying anything. You poor thing, how gutting to get AF after that. But obviously now your body has had a dry run at things, it will hang on properly next time and it will definitely be your turn. Chin up, sweetie.

Am running a bath right now in obedience to your instructions! I will find a nice book and forget all about my friend for a while.

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 18:49

Yes, come wallow for a few minutes! Keep up the googling for a bit then into scalding hot bath young lady! You need to unwind.
I am coming to the conclusion I probably had a chemical pregnancy (don't confess at the time but got a pink patch on a cheapo on Wed but then negative again so assume it was non-sticky bean). Bit sad in a way.

PatientGriselda · 20/06/2011 18:38

Sorry faithbaby, to answer your question - I will maybe wait till the weekend and test again. And then if no AF, call the GP on Monday. In the meantime I am googling various versions of "late AF no bfp how many days late till you got bfp" etc.

PatientGriselda · 20/06/2011 18:36

Can I collapse here in a little heap of self pity? Just heard that another friend is having a baby. I was suitably thrilled and congratulatory on the phone but now I am miserable. It is just so fucking unfair. I know it's possible that they took 18months to get there too, but it just never feels like that.

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 18:24

How have your days been ladies? Mine was pretty good at work. Been to gym no leg issues. Think I'm fit again!! Tomorrow will be telling ache wise. Af has pretty much finished so let the sexing commence!
I can't believe still no af pg! Seriously, you need to get checked out! When you heading to your GP?

PatientGriselda · 20/06/2011 15:09

I have gone all devil may care with my folic acid, after 18 months worth too!

CD 57 and not so much as a drop of blood. If it is just the PCOS again then at least I am on the list for ovarian drilling, which should help. If it's a miracle pregnancy then I will just indulge myself with the possibility for a bit longer before phoning the GP to ask if she thinks it's worth a blood test.

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 13:33

When I say multivitamins I mean 'conception' vitamins to help conception malarky. Yes folic acid is very important not to help conception but for baby growth. You should really be taking it for 3 months so its in your system when you get preggers. My bean will have 18 months worth at least!

princessamz · 20/06/2011 11:32

hi everyone,
been away for a few days cos ive had lots on.been having a good clear out in the house.feeling much better on the mood front.faithbaby have stopped taking multi vitamins cos they contain vitamin a which is supposed to be dangerous in pregnancy.so difficult knowing whats safe.heard folic acid is meant to help with ttc?
the depression seems to be easing off.think last month was just complete obsession with ttc and when im came on i thought i was ok but the day after i felt terrible.suffered with depression for 17years and have been taking medication for 11 years.have good and bad days but more good.have low confidence in myself and worry about everything.sometimes it gets too much and i feel very down but i do my best to fight it everyday.
thank you to everyone who's offered support.its lovely to know that i have people to talk to who wont judge me xx

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 07:42

Hello, self pity time over. Af on her way out (so short!). Very tired!! Like struggled to get up.
ninja that was an interesting article, I am much better since starting curves diet and magnesium. Still could to.better though! Did you manage the jiggy jiggy?!

NinjaChipmunk · 19/06/2011 20:38

oh faithbaby you poor thing. Hopefully your hosp appointment will shed some light on why things. You probably know all this but this article makes interesting reading on how diet can affect pms.
Well we went to see the giant hungry hippos, and the pub was packed, full of pregnant women and little kids and babies. Everywhere. I have to say I found it quite hard. The hippos looked good though and I think they raised quite a lot for the charity it was in aid of.
Have just eaten the most enormous roast, was lovely. Now got to digest before bedtime so the jiggy jiggy can commence.

havealittlefaithbaby · 19/06/2011 20:14

I feel rubbish today btw, been.really tearful. We went to church this morning, they announced a pregnancy. Just sat and cried through it :(
DH has been very affectionate which is lovely. His retest is 24th August pg.

havealittlefaithbaby · 19/06/2011 19:46

Ah, there she is. Just popped out for fresh ammo it seems.

havealittlefaithbaby · 19/06/2011 17:27

Ninja our house remains a labour of love!! Been here almost 2 years, in that time have had to clear junk with large skip, full rewire Confused, new kitchen, all rooms decorated post rewire (oh the dust!), new combi boiler, new double glazing (no we're not rich my Dad has footed most of the bill from his retirement nest egg bless him!). Finally starting to feel like our home. It's great cos it's a bungalow it's quite easy to relabel/furnish rooms as you fancy! I am chuffed about having my piano in a special room though!
I would just like to ask, has anyone seen my af?! She seems to have vanished....

NinjaChipmunk · 19/06/2011 10:51

pg see here for the giant hungry hippos and the other bits and bobs they put on.

at *queenrollo, have a fabbo time at glasto, hope you've got you're wellies. I hope you get a bfp too!

cls101 sorry for the bfn

dizzy hope the tiredness proves to be duffedness, good luck with packing

faithbaby your house sounds lovely, I would love to have a music room (or indeed and other room in addition to my tiny flat!)

CD12 for me, have so far managed swi on 7, 9 and 11 and going for gold over the next few days. I will win me a baby, I will!
Didn't make the hungry hippos yesterday but may well head down there today to meet some friends.
Have lovely days everyone!

PatientGriselda · 19/06/2011 08:48

When is his retest?

havealittlefaithbaby · 19/06/2011 08:46

Ah the sex ban, never known DH be so randy!
