So the last thread disappeared so here's the deal: I realised it's really annoying to drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg during the 2ww. Newbies welcome!

I'm so Angry I could scream! We've had our hosp appt since the beginning of may. It's 2 weeks away. Till last night when dp told me he can't do that date so this morning I have had to cancel it. They will contact me by 15th to arrange a new date. I'm furious.

NinjaChipmunk · 30/06/2011 20:42

thank you faithbaby only time will tell, I don't keep tests in the house so I'm not tempted to try!
glad you're getting your groove on so much, good for you!

havealittlefaithbaby · 30/06/2011 20:37

Yep we are still swi! In fact I think more this cycle than ever before. I think it still sounds promising ninja! Hunger does crazy things to your brain!

NinjaChipmunk · 30/06/2011 20:10

hope you are all doing well and shagging lots? I think I can feel those pre-af feelings. Not due till tuesday but have been very tetchy this evening. calmed down once I ate a massive pizza though so who knows? maybe it was hunger?

boobs still feel a bit bigger but not really and sensitivity. God I'm so bored of doing this, I want to be able to stop the endless cycles of trying, waiting and being disappointed. pah. Still must look on the bright side i suppose, someone tell me something positive to cheer me up!

PatientGriselda · 29/06/2011 18:10

Sounds like he's feeling good about stuff, faithbaby!

Am fine thank, ninja. Period eventually turned up after a 63 day cycle. But have got ovarian drilling on the horizon, so hopefully that will do something. Oh, and DP's sperm result was normal.

Fingers crossed for your boobs!

havealittlefaithbaby · 29/06/2011 17:30

Hi ninja! Surely with you it could go either way! Stay positive :)
Yes so far so good, no peak so I informed DH there would be more naked time tonight. He seemed surprised but I reminded him we talked about it last night! He's not opposed to the idea though Wink

NinjaChipmunk · 29/06/2011 15:14

howdy, how are people today?
I'm in the middle of the 2ww. I feel absolutely shattered today, didn't sleep well last few nights at all, its been so sticky. Not much to report here, no symptoms of any kind as usual except slightly tender abdomen today and ever so slightly sore boobage but that could be down to anything and I would seriously hesitate to put any hope on it.

cls sorry to hear you are going through all that but hopefully your tests will come up with some answers for you.

faithbaby you go girl!

pg how are you?

I wonder how dizzy is getting on with her move, hope she's not having a too stressful time of it.

havealittlefaithbaby · 29/06/2011 13:02

I wondered where you were! shiny has been quiet for a while too...
I'm mid cycle and swi, so far DH has been quite enthusiastic :) pg I managed to persuade him last night! Wink. Got my gynae appointment Friday, be glad to get it over before I go on holiday week after.
Sorry to hear you're still in limbo cls but glad to hear they're investigating.

CLS101 · 29/06/2011 12:00

Hi everyone, so sorry i havent been on in so long, have been extremely busy.

Still no af, still bfn.

Been to gp have had and still having various tests, poss of pco AND underactive thyroid, been in bits recently. Thank fully OH has been extremely supportive and saying the right things.

Pregnancy 'problems' run through my family, my mum had 2 etopic pregnancies (both fallopian tubes had to be removed) before me and was told couldnt have children (I was 1 in 1,000,000, managed to find my way to the womb!), but nothing that is meant to be 'hereditary' - or so I think?

Only OH knows about it, waiting for ultrasound to be booked to confirm pco. And more bloods to confirm thyroid and any hormone issues I may have?

He ended the first consultation with: 'I still want you to poas every 2 weeks though, just to be sure' Hmm

Sorry I havent kept up to date with everyone! Any news from anyone?

havealittlefaithbaby · 28/06/2011 13:49

We rise at 6! Unlikely to persuade him in morning. Will try for late tonight when my friend has gone.

PatientGriselda · 28/06/2011 13:24

I would try fOr tonight. Or can he be persuaded in the mornings??

havealittlefaithbaby · 28/06/2011 13:12

Am not AK!

havealittlefaithbaby · 28/06/2011 13:11

Ooh meant to say most ewcm I've ever seen today so AK happy we had swi last night. Do I aim to lure him into bed again today? Not sure he'll go for it. Maybe tomorrow...?!

havealittlefaithbaby · 28/06/2011 13:10

Yes indeed tis first hospital appointment and is in hospital I work in. Good news is I do old crumbly patients so not like I'll see people I currently work in. But I did work in gynae for a bit. But it was 6 years ago and only for about 8 months so not too worried.
Excellent news about your DP's sperm!

PatientGriselda · 28/06/2011 12:36

This is the first hospital one, isn't it? If so, then yes, that's exactly what happened at mine. Not even so much as a blood pressure taken, or a hop on the scales. As for how i felt, I was weirdly energised, really, at having kicked off the next stage. Is it in your own hospital (you do work in one, don't you?)?

DP's results in - normal! He is very, very relieved.

havealittlefaithbaby · 28/06/2011 08:00

Morning all! Still no temp rise here so must assume I am still fertile!
I'm starting to get rather nervous about my appointment now. I think I'm more worried about how I'll feel after. I tried to get the day off but my colleague had already booked it (we can only have one of us off at a time). I've decided I'll just cone back and sit in the office and potter anyway so I should be ok. They'll only take a history and give me an indication of diagnosis anyway, right?

PatientGriselda · 27/06/2011 21:28

I have a headache too. Just had a coldish shower, so am less sweaty at any rate. Going to watch tv and drink iced water until it's cool enough to sleep.

Good luck with the sexing!

havealittlefaithbaby · 27/06/2011 20:58

Yup horribly muggy, getting a headache. It was spotty rain earlier but that didn't materialise isn't anything. I reckon I am fertile so I decided to lure DH into bed anyway! ;)

PatientGriselda · 27/06/2011 20:46

Yes, but I don't think I'll bother going back to GP, as I think she will just say that it's all part of PCOS, and now she's referred me and the hospital is planning ovarian drilling anyway ( to see if that helps me with the old ovulating/conceiving thing). But when I go back to hospital I will definitely raise that cycles are crazy again. I am not quite clear when that will be, but I know they won't do anything till they've seen DP's sperm result, so once they've got that, I can start chasing them.

Isn't it muggy? I am so hot and sticky and really not at my most shaggable right now, so it's lucky that the chances are I'm not fertile anyway at the mOment!

havealittlefaithbaby · 27/06/2011 20:03

Well new bloods are being done Wednesday, sperm test 24th August.
will you be getting some medical advice?

PatientGriselda · 27/06/2011 19:25

Nothing much happening here. Not much blood, and I didn't have any sore breasts first, so naturally I am wondering whether there is still any hope. Feel free to shake me :)

Great news about retest for your DH! When is that scheduled for?

havealittlefaithbaby · 27/06/2011 18:10

Any further developments? Did I mention GP has asked DH to have further blood tests to see if anything accounts for low sperm eg low testosterone? Not sure I did. Might account for lots of his symptoms actually. Bless him, he is making a real effort with combining swi/with alternative method. So far so good this cycle!

PatientGriselda · 27/06/2011 06:40

DP's test results might be back tomorrow though, which will be interesting.

PatientGriselda · 27/06/2011 06:39

Yep! And the inability to properly put aside teeny bits of hope.

havealittlefaithbaby · 27/06/2011 06:18

Sorry to hear that but at least it'll be over with. It's the not knowing that's agony isn't it?!
