manda sending big un-MN hugs for you and a large piece of chocolate fudge cake...but on a more serious note...we're all on this thread for v similar reasons so please feel free to share here...it's important to be able to talk about how you're feeling! Not sure I can offer any great wisdom but some time away from TTC may be exactly what you need giving you time to grieve and work things through with your DP and enjoy time with your DCs without the stress of TTC.

IQ keep resting and try to stay calm if you can (easier said than done I know)

pie percy pigs would be fab thanks Smile

MandaHugNKiss · 19/07/2011 12:18

pie I'll take a nose at your chart if you wanna post a link?

IQ Lots and lots of positive thoughts your way

I'm actually thinking I may have to stop ttc. I think several things are pointing to me really not being ready/not over losing DS3. I think, more and more, I just feel I want him back, not a different baby. I've completely and utterly lost my sex drive (and I'm a very, um, like-it-a-lot person!) which I can only assume is some sort of self preservation thing - or that I'm depressed. I do actually think I'm depressed. I don't want to see my gp about it though as all they ever do is prescribe anti-depressants and I really don't want to be on them again.

Don't thnk I've O'd yet, but not sure... but in the horrid place of hoping that IF I have, that I don't get pregnant. GOd, my head's such a fecking mess. I was crying lots last night and again this morning (more connected to DP and I having issues - that I think are probably very much connected to my depressed state) and I just... feel lost. I don't know what to do. I was clinging to ttc as something 'positive' but I think I know it's a mistake.

Sorry for being so 'me' and so down... this probably isn't the right place to say this, but I don't know where else to blurt it out.

PieMistress · 19/07/2011 12:04

IQ am thinking of you, please try not to worry (I know it's easier said than done) Cosy up and relax on the sofa with a snooze and DVD.xx I have a mug on my desk that says 'I love spreadsheets', it was given by a friend that really knows me! I work as a planner Hmm what kind of dogs have you got?

Blue i've been a POAS addict the past couple of cycles but aside from OPKs I deliberately don't have any IC pregnancy tests in the house anymore. I was doing them from 8dpo (ridiculous eh) and got so upset every time I saw a BFN and then would get AF i've decided not to test until 12dpo (if AF hasn't arrived by then). My cycle is definitely WTF this month, I'm so peeved I ov'd 5 days earlier than normal.

eve did you manage to get to the GP? Were you given antib's before?

summer a bath with candles? sounds heavenly!

shimmery how is your kitty cat today?

Squeezed in one more SWI last night (so DTD the day of +OPK and both days after, normally would be concentrating on days before but never mind!). But last night was a bit of an effort as we were both knackered but got there eventually! Fertility friend now reckons I ov'd last Friday (if so i'm deffo out for this month!!) but I think it was more like this weekend, fingers crossed time will tell I guess!

Craving some percy pigs so will be nipping to M&S at lunchtime for my sweetie fix! Grin anybody else fancy some? x

InsomniaQueen · 19/07/2011 11:26

Hello all,

Now at home after being sent home by my two members of staff.....bless them for looking after me. Got up today feeling not so great (tired, back ache and a bit sickly). Currently sat on the sofa with my hot water bottle hoping to be able to squeeze a nap in before lunch. Having some cramps again and coupled with back pain I'm getting my worried head on all over again!

Feeling a bit worried again....what a roller coaster all of this is!!!

BlueCrane · 19/07/2011 09:29

Morning all...well...am sat on the comfy virtual sofa that is MN and it's confession time Blush ok...here goes...my name is BlueCrane and I very nearly took my mentalling to a new level this morning and POAS... but managed to resist saying to myself over and over again until FMU had been washed away down the loo that if it was bfn I'd just be fed up and if bfp I'd never get my work deadline sorted by the end of the week as my brain would be in overdrive! So have promised to myself that I will be patient and only indulge myself and POAS on Saturday if AF has still not arrived (be 6 weeks post ERPC by then so still plenty of time I know...grrrr)! Still got mild cramps on and off but apart from feeling PMTy absolutley no sign that AF is actually starting...and I woke up with a stuffy nose again this morning...damn this WTF cycle...messing with my head!!

Sorry about that...just needed to get that out in the open...and breathe...

IQ hope you're doing ok and that the spreadsheets aren't too mind boggling today!

marathon really hope the weather perks up for you...I do have fond memories of holidays as a child in the rain but am sure it was pretty stressful and tiring for my parents thinking of activities!

shimmery hope your cat better quickly...cunning things never do fall for the 'it's not a cage' thing and generally run a mile from them!! How's the artistic work going in the padded cell??

eve so sorry you're still not feeling well, must be so so frustrating! Hope the docs can advise and get you something to get rid of the infection for good!!

ShimmeryPixie · 19/07/2011 09:10

Why summer, one entices with purchases by modelling them and pretending that they were bought only for the benefit of the man in question... Grin

Oh god - spreadsheets - do you dream of them too IQ?

Eve I hope your doctor can sort it out and you feel better soon.

I've started another Jillian Michaels DVD to distract myself from the 2WW a bit . I think I'm actually starting to get stomach muscles (but not in a nasty way).

I've also been distracted by my cat, who has evidently been fighting and had his ear bitten (truly gross and was infected). I followed instructions on cleaning it (ugh) and it's not bothering him at all, but if it doesn't start to heal by tomorrow, I'm going to have to play the "no, this isn't a cage, don't be silly, of course not, GET IN THERE" game with him to take him to the vet.

InsomniaQueen · 18/07/2011 22:26

eve sorry your feeling rubbish...def agree with the other ladies you need to see the dr. Hopefully they will be able to have a look and give you something to sort you out and make you feel back to normal again.

Big hugs xx

InsomniaQueen · 18/07/2011 22:15

Evening all - feeling very bored without DH. He hasn't been away for a while so kind of got out of the habit of it all is suppose. Other than that things are ok....got two dogs sat on my legs who think they are too good for the very expensive bed I have bought and so are now sleeping comfortably on my very expensive sofa.....spoilt things the pair of them!!!

shimmery thanks for putting me back into the padded cell.....and also thanks for keeping me company.

summer glad your friend is feeling upbeat. Gonna talk to DH about the in laws.....god why is this sooo hard!!! Bless the DH though he does try. Love your cat escapades.....welcome to the padded cell.

blue not sure about telling my parents. If o told her it would be all over the town they live but the afternoon.....I just wouldn't be able to cope with being bombarded before 12 weeks probably won't cope even after that! Good work on the grapes....the cake must of been tempting.

MissG I'm certain that I'm gonna have a huge bump on the head before 12 weeks cos the temptation to bang my head is immense. By the way I fully love Gerard butler he is super hot!!!

eve glad you had a great weekend....drinking too much - yay for you!!!

whatsoeve bless your DH for not realising the schedule -sorry to hear about his gran though....it such a horrible situation.

marathon glad your keeping busy and enjoying your break away and not metalling.

pie glad you managed some SWI around OV day......don't stress about the big 40 next year....fourth is feisty and fabulous!!! Was totally de-stressing myself work wise but got a fast ball on Friday which sent me into a tail spin - had taken a step back post mc after re-evaluating my priorities.

Right time for bed - today has been very long and dull and full of 40,000 row spreadsheets!!!

Xxxx

Summerbird73 · 18/07/2011 21:42

eve my post to you ended up sounding a bit trite Blush sorry! i feel for you as it is rubbish feeling that poorly. sending some 'non netmums like' hugs and huns! Wink

Summerbird73 · 18/07/2011 21:40

eve get yourself off to the GP, sounds like a poorly water infection and you might need stronger antibiotics - seek a second opinion if you are not happy. not surprised you are miserable - sending you a Brew of the hot chocolate variety

i feel awful, my nails are a bit long at the mo and when i was putting DS down after carrying him one of my nails went right down his belly Shock i have never heard him cry like that before Sad he now has a big sore gash down his belly and i am gonna have to explain that one to nursery - needless to say i have cut my nails down to the quick and gave him lots of cuddles - it really hurt him Sad

DH just ran me a bath with candles and made me a hot chocolate in honour of me putting on 2lb at slimming world Blush crapola i need to start all over again!

eve34 · 18/07/2011 21:32

FYI I am not normal a big fat maoning minny but WTF

Have a feeling I still have some sort of infection. :-( I do just want to weep now. Or get sterillised grrrr.

Feel like I have been kick in the uterus it just aches. Other bits and pieces are sore. I have treated for thrush but it is the aching feeling that worries me.

sorry for self indulgent rant off to bed as DS is still chatting away to himself.

BlueCrane · 18/07/2011 15:08

summer you're very right...the WTF cycle is just like a verrry looong 2ww! Feeling more and more like AF is on the way though and distinct need for chocolate at lunchtime too which for me is a definite AF symptom! As for my hormones Confused Blush they seem to be having a party all on there own and just doing what the hell they feel like at the moment!!

Summerbird73 · 18/07/2011 14:22

you metalling marathon excellent typo! Grin

yep me and DH are knackered, we had some serious action this month and are having a break now [phew]

i had a massive row with my sisters on saturday night, so my hormones are all over the place too. wont go too much into it but they are not being the most supportive and reckon that they went through the MC with me Hmm they phoned me ONCE! grrrrr

Love it how we are just about all on the 2WW together (except the BFPs! - and the WTF cycle is like the 2WW!)

MarathonMama · 18/07/2011 13:25

No time for metalling Smile

PieMistress · 18/07/2011 12:56

Hi Peeps!

Monday has rolled around again far too quickly! :(

I got a grip after my initial panic that i've ov'd a good 5/6 days earlier than normal (although Dr Google says this can be common post m/c) so am relieved I started the OPKs a few days earlier this cycle (had spotted some EWCM and wondered what was going on!). So we managed Sat & Sun lunchtime during DS's nap :) and will try again tonight if I can encourage DP :) So i've missed the time before the +OPK which I usually aim for! Have a feeling we're out this month though but it's not over till the witch arrives!! I wish I could stress less about the big 40 next year :(

Yesterday RIGHT AFTER our nice SWI (we were still errrrr 'entangled' Blush, we heard somebody downstairs in the hall saying 'hello? hello?'. A mate had popped round to borrow some suncream for her niece as they were going to the beach by our house and didn't have any !!!! Cue DP rapidly pulling on some clothes and hot footing it downstairs whilst I chilled out with a book to let his swimmers get to work :)

whats sorry to hear about DH's grandma. Very impressed with your hour long run. I used to be a keen runner until about 5 months pregnant with DS when it became too uncomfortable. Now, it's a struggle to fit a run into my spare time but admittedly I haven't made much effort lately! Happy SWI tonight!

eve your BBQ sounds lovely! It's been torrential rain here the past few days, bleurgh. Congrats on the weight loss, that's amazing!!

missg I am east coast scotland :) Happy 2ww! I'm not sure if I am there yet or not. My temp was up a bit this morning though so I guess the next couple of mornings will tell. How old is your DD?

blue I also had a huge go at my DP on Saturday so think my hormones are all over the place at the moment. Fingers crossed AF doesn't arrive and you get a nice BFP instead. I find it fustrating that some early pregnancy symptoms and AF symptoms can be similar!

summer you have done some serious SWI! I am very impressed!! I am sending lots of get well vibes for your friend and hoping that things work out fine {hugs} {hugs}

shimmery you have also done some serious SWI! It's going to be a long 2 weeks for some of us! And HOT ROWERS, yes please! I don't even have one diet coke man in my office!

marathon hope you are having a good hols and not mentalling too much

manda any word back from the doc?

IQ fab news on getting a scan through for next week! And that you are passed the time when you m/c last time. I hate getting stressed at work too and it comes in peaks and troughs. I used to really let it get to me but realised it was affecting my health and stopped (or am trying to) as my cycles were going haywire.

Sorry if i've missed anyone! Cramming this in and scoffing lunch at my desk before a 1pm meeting!

For today, can I just say Dave Grohl! Anybody else with me Grin

Summerbird73 · 18/07/2011 12:35

marathon yay to family holidays in the rain - well if we had to do it then so do they! Grin glad you having a lovely time

Summerbird73 · 18/07/2011 12:32

whatso IKWYM about your DH's grandma Sad we had that with my nan in January, she was in and out of hospital and then so poorly when she was in there. i felt so guilty just waiting for that phone call. But you have to be clinical sometimes. Sending some PMA your way.

And i dont know anyone in Urmston (but know loads of people in Timperley...) so i reckon we are off the hook Grin

eve your weekend sounds fab, it has pee'd down here all weekend. I too am on a diet, but am doing Slimming World, in fact it is weigh in tonight

missG there was a girl at my school with the worst orange face/chin line ever seen. she did it every day even when some nasty fuckwits well meaning kids pointed it out to her! Blush bet she is a stunna now.. Envy

blue YY you are rather hormonal arent you eh? eh? may i present the evidence to the jury:

BlueCrane Mon 18-Jul-11 11:13:02
Not much to report here...feel quite AFy as if she's about to arrive but still no sign...had huge go at DH yesterday which I'm blaming on hormones/PMT but was probably me just being oversensitive about something he said

Hmm Hmm Hmm

MarathonMama · 18/07/2011 12:32

Hi ladies, just to say I'm lurking but wireless comes and goes so hard to post.

Hope everyone's ok? Centre parcs in the rain with three children is bloody hard work! Having fun though.

summer sorry to hear about your friend. I think you said just the right thing.

Nothing to report here, still no proper symptoms but am feeling very tired. Think it's all the cycling and swimming though.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good week, will post more at the weekend.

waves to all

whatsoever · 18/07/2011 12:05

Summer I used to live in Timperley but migrated up the A56 to Urmston last year. I don't think we know each other but you never know..... I applaud your time management skills getting some DTD in before the Apprentice! Keeping you and your poorly friend in my prayers (or substitute athiest equivalent if faith isn't your bag).

DH has been forewarned his services are required tonight. He said yesterday "I never know when we're supposed to be on the schedule" Err, it's not hard to work out the concept of every other day darling!

He's a bit stressed anyway because his grandma has gone into hospital. She is very frail and basically he is worried she might die while he is away in London for three days, as we are not due to go and visit her until next weekend (sorry for the bluntness, but I think it is required in such cases). She is not eating or drinking properly and so keeps having to be taken into hospital because the dehydration causes UTIs or she is too weak and collapses. It's one of those hand-wringing situations because no-one can force her to eat and drink more, but this will keep happening forever the way things are.

Anyway, good vibes aplenty to our preggo twosome and good vibes a plenty to all those TTCing Smile

eve34 · 18/07/2011 11:25

Morning all

it all moves very fast obver the weekend - hope everyone is well lots of DTD I hope.

IQ - And relax.....as DS would say breath in and out mummy!!!! Really hope you can glad to hear the scan has come thrugh. And how sweet is your DH. Hope the next few days fly by and he is back home. I wanted not to tell anyone till 12 weeks but everyone who knew has been so supportive throughout mc. Double edge sword isn't it.

Summer - that is a whole lots of SWI. Fingers crossed the lucky cat brings you your BFP.

Well we have had a good weekend night out Fri and drank far to much and had a really good night out. BBq in the forest on sun and it stayed dry. Day off today so should get on with some house work or something....

For those that asked about diet I have been doing weight watchers. Although fell off the wagon last week back to it today. Really like to shift a bit more still have BMI of 29. Gives me something else to focus on.

Missgiraffe1 · 18/07/2011 11:13

Summer Not far wrong, I'm a Scot, near the West coast, about half an hour away from Glasgow. Honestly, my DD and her friends' chat on facebook makes me lol (sorry, couldn't resist) sometimes. The things they say, aaaaaaaahhhh, takes me back...... to when my biggest worries were if my lipstick matched my foundation (Blush promise I wasn't one of those teens with a tide mark round my jawline, honest Hmm ) and whether my boobs had really stopped growing! Angry

On that subject IQ, I see the boobie fears have re-emerged. Go bang your head against that padded cell wall, that's what it's for. I won't tell you not to read anything into the change in your boobs, because you will anyway. But, I'm pretty sure that fluctuations in symptoms is normal. And YEAH! to reaching and passing that milestone. Heres to many more being conquered over the next few weeks/months Smile

Blue anything yet? Hope you're not going too mental with this SWI. It really done my head in, but then someone Marathon maybe? said that it could be logical to think of the BFN as the start if a new cycle, and then I actually stopped stressing so much

Shimmery I'm with you lady! CD 14 today, my previous ucl was 27/28days, so am now in the 2ww. Although, I always felt that I Ov late (would make sense when thinking about when I conceived (ectopic) last year) however, as I've never charted, couldn't be sure. Had SWI on CD7, 9, 10, 12 and 13, and will get to sneak a cheeky wee one in tonight, as just heard that DD is going to babysit her little bro and Sis (her Dad's kids) tonight - whoohoo! Will also try to ensure another couple of goes during this week, just to cover all bases! But, DH back to work today, likely to be loooooooong days for him this week, so he bloody well better not hope he won't have lost the holiday horn we have both benefitted from this past couple of weeks Grin.

Manda clearly you are not a Gerard Butler fan like me, but glad you got the job done. My 2ww mentalling has started already Blush. The first thing I did when I got up was google ovulation. There's nothing I haven't read already, but just felt the need to read it all - again. Oh dear....

Happy start of week everyone. Taking DD for her school cloothes today, she is not happy about it (as there are still over 4 weeks of hols left) but I just want it done. Last minute school clothes shopping is a freaking nightmare no fun at all.

BlueCrane · 18/07/2011 11:13

Right...I have my Brew and a small bowl of grapes though would much rather have the yummy carrot cake on sale in the canteen this morning let's have a proper catch up with weekend goings on!

IQ such good news that you're past where you got to last time...sorry to hear DH is away but glad you've got a scan date to work towards. If you told DH's parents would you also tell yours? I think you've got to figure out what's going to bless you the most whilst DH is away...

Pie hope you got some action in yesterday and DH wasn't too tired after his surfing trip on Saturday Wink

whatso impressed at the running for an hour!! Hope there's no distracting TV tonight!!

missg thanks for the encouragement...answers eitherway gratefully appreciated!! Hope getting back to work isn't too much of a shock after your holiday!

manda so it's SWI time if ov is happenning!!

ooh shimmery I like the sound of your work do!! Hope 2ww not driving you too insane yet!

marathon hope things are all well in the padded room??

summer I've also often wondered whether anyone I know could be on MN and know all sorts of details about DTD, EWCM etc etc!! A good friend is on MN and when she found out I was too asked what my username was but I was a bit Blush about giving it to her in case she read any of my posts!!

eve how's things with you?

Blush hope I've not missed anyone out?!?

Not much to report here...feel quite AFy as if she's about to arrive but still no sign...had huge go at DH yesterday which I'm blaming on hormones/PMT but was probably me just being oversensitive about something he said Blush his shifts are much better and condusive to SWI this week but I have big work deadline on Friday so may have to work late a lot which is a pain! Kinda hoping AF doesn't come until after the deadline as I don't really want to be dealing with that with my work pressure too but on the other hand would like this WTF cycle over with as quickly as possible!! Speaking of work I must get back to it!

Summerbird73 · 18/07/2011 10:58

IQ Grin not at your situation but at your response!!!

aaaaand breathe!

InsomniaQueen · 18/07/2011 10:45

Also forgot to mention......been having chest pains on and off for past 3 weeks!!! Dr said its either "acid reflux" but apparently its too early for that to be as a part of pg....or anxiety - she actually asked me if i had anything to be anxious about....Hmm...wanted to laugh in her face but replied in my most sweet voice "things are little difficult being newly pg post mc, DH going away in about 6 weeks and people from other teams at work dumping stuff on my desk to be done BY THE END OF THE DAY - other than that everything is fine"!!!!

Summerbird73 · 18/07/2011 09:59

now paranoid that whatso is one of my friends! if you live near Alti then dont worry about 'outing youself' ignorance is bliss (and i cant look my friends in the eye if they know all about my EWCM) Grin
