Morning ladies,

Olis that sounds very encouraging. A line is definately a line, however faint. I did a cb digi today and it says 3+, but the asda cheapie I did yesterday (slight poas obsession Blush) was still pretty faint and unconvincing, but after about 1/2 hour looks better. Keeping fx for your digi being a more positive result for you. Certainly sounds like you have all the symptoms. I know what you mean about ttc for so long. I stupidly kept putting it off for another year and another year etc then started 2 years ago and though it would be so easy.

Will catch up more later in the day.

olismum23 · 24/05/2011 23:47

Just a quick note to add i was just about to chuck out my clear and simple from this morning and it is very clearly positive now obviously well out the time frame but it is odd eh? Confused

OP posts:
olismum23 · 24/05/2011 23:25

Hi all thanks for all the words of encouragement and support, the initial test i used was an internet cheapie yesterday and today and the shop test was a clear and simple from home bargains.

I am upset, stressed, unsure, emotional, but the bottom line is my af is way late my boobs hurt i have two faint positives however faint and however long they took they are there i just have to see how it goes. I will prob test Thursday/Friday maybe even Friday and if BFN Monday to see what the digi's have to say. yesterday was my temp drop so i may have only implanted then, its back up now.

I think i have just reached the end of my tether like melies and chloe i have been trying for DC2 for such a long time and they would be such a precious part of my family life. It becomes hard to reconcile that there are a large proportion of people who get pregnant and dont even what a child/more children and them finding it so easy to do so too.

If its negative on Friday obviously i will have to see the doctor anyway to find out whats happened so i may see a way forward then. The truth is i would love to say I give up but i cant it just means too much.

I am sorry for the waffling on it is just nice to get it out about how i feel as googie said sometimes in RL people just dont get it!

Blackkat · 24/05/2011 18:19

Sorry ladies not been by for a while.

Olis Grin Grin a line is a line, I have everything crossed that you get another BFP a bit later this week.

Mel your feelings are totally understandable, totally. Just hang in there, and maybe do step away a little like chloe has? But don't feel you have to. We're all rooting for you xxxx (((hugs)))

Bump,Lily,Laylas hoping all ok with you ladies?

wave to Collie and Cep x

Chloe hope all ok with you and holiday is booked??? Would love to hear all about it, thinking of you and hoping your enjoying just relaxing.

pigletmania · 24/05/2011 15:01

Hi Lilly how are you, I am fine got strong symptoms which is good, like sickness, tiredness and sore boobs. A line is a line no matter how feint it is so So big congratulations Smile

ciwi · 24/05/2011 14:53

I will hang round with you mels. I am still wttc so will give you a big head start!
You are definately not selfish. its hard trying again after a mc and it can kind of take over your life. Thats why i refuse to use opk's they just stress me out which i believe goes against all my efforts!
Chin up, its happened before and it will happen again x
(by the way I dont ever listen to my own advice :))

meliesmummy · 24/05/2011 14:44

Olis what brand was it? Didn't someone on here recently have the same issues with an asda one? (lily?) A line is a line and most people don't get a bfp until 14dpo so no need for worrying just yet, buy some fr or cb digis (not the cross ones, I hate those since I got a false positive last year) and use fmu tomorrow and keep us posted. If af is late and you've got symptoms that all sounds positive to me x

Bump you are probably just lucky on the sickness thing, believe me it's not all it's cracked up to be! I had ms (night s really!) till 26 weeks then mildly till the end with dd, it was hideous and part of the reason I left it so long to try again [shudder emoticon]

Hi collie, I miss you too (and cep and chloe and blackkat), you all kept me sane when I was going through the mc and I will never forget that! [tears in the eyes emoticon] It's lovely when you pop back to check on us. Whilst I am so happy for all the bfps, I know more people in the freakout room now than on here, I'm feeling a bit :( about that to be honest. Practically everyone who mc around the same time as me has got a bfp now, and many that have come on since. Am I a selfish cow for feeling Grin and Envy and :( at the same time? I totally understand chloe's decision to step away.

Waves to everyone x

Bumpwanted · 24/05/2011 13:35

Hi Collie I am 7 +1 so within the sickness zone! I have had the odd queasy moment during the late afternoon but that's about it. I want to be sick!!!!

Bumpwanted · 24/05/2011 12:46

Olis don't panic. I reckon you are. Different testst can produce different results this early on. Were you using FMU in a pot? How long had it been sat there when you did the second test? I can't remember which thread but I def remember someone else posting that you should use fresh urine.

On the positive side...you are tearful (that's all the hormones) have sore boobs and no AF. Just hang in a bit longer and test again in a few days.

I found first response the best one to pick up a line. Go buy one of those xx

CollieandPup · 24/05/2011 12:46

bump how far along are you? See my post yesterday to lily symptoms don't tend to kick in until about wk 6. I was 6 1/2 weeks. And 2 of my rl pg friends have had no sickness at all Envy

lily was that your mc experince? No /empty scan or was it ectopic? (sorry I can't remember) I had lots of early pains and twinges, which seemed to ease when the ms kicked in. I understand your worry though. After all the horror stories I'd read I was pertified of an ectopic. I'm sure you'll be fine. Xx

CollieandPup · 24/05/2011 12:41

olis you're line is a line. Ignore the shop one. It wasn't fmu either I assume? I found my lines varied A LOT early on, depending on the brand. I found my clearest line was on a FR. It was still v faint but it was clearer to see. I can't remember how many dpo I was when I got my lines, but I think it was later than you. Just hang in there a couple more days. Try not to do one tomorrow, then test again the next you'll see the difference better. Relax, a line is a line!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

mels I'm rooting for you next!!! I miss you Smile

olismum23 · 24/05/2011 12:38

Thanks ciwi Im in bed crying don't think i can take the emotional turmoil any longer. I wont test again till friday i feel pregnant sore boobs etc and no AF even though 35 day cycle has been the longest i have ever had so i will wait and hope the cheapies are right.

OP posts:
ciwi · 24/05/2011 12:28

Hi Olismum, 11dpo is still early and you may well not show up on all tests yet. You may have implanted a few days late or something. I know its easier said than done but try and wait till 14dpo and test again. If you had a faint line on a more sensitive test then it makes sense that you may have a negative on a less positive test. The fact you have had a positive at all is very promising x

olismum23 · 24/05/2011 12:06

Hi all really confused now got very faint positive and a stronger positive but still faint this morning got my DH to check them like 100 times to be sure but i wanted a stronger line so i bought a slightly more expensive (but still cheap) test from the shop, used the same FMU and it was negative it is less sensitive 25mlu when the internet cheapies are supposed to be 10mlu, but at 11dpo should i not be showing on an ordinary early test?

I just fell like screaming and crying the other ones look positive trust me had many evaps after 27 months!

What should i trust?? Do you think this could be chemical? :(

Bumpwanted · 24/05/2011 10:43

Yay Olis that's brilliant!!!!!

Lily my scan is on the wed. I am starting to freak a bit about lack of symptoms. I keep poking my boobs which are sore... but are they as sore as before??? I just ahd a sip of coffee and I quite liked it. I haven't had any morning sickness. All I have is huge sore boobs, peeing quite a lot and the on and off cramping and feeling tired come lunchtime.

Laylas very jealous you feel sick!

Melies keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP for you.

Hi to everyone else! xxx
