Bfn and no AF

Sorry Emmalou, that's really tough, I hope you're ok. Going to the dr always makes it seem more likely in a way ? you convince yourself that if you're going then its a definite BFP (or I do anyway !) At least the waiting is over and you can get on to your next cycle.
Day 41 for you Knitterati? Have you booked a doctor's appointment? I'm on day 67 ? just counted and I knew it had been a while, but still .
I cracked this morning and did both OV and preg test, both bfn. Boo. I still think i ov'd last tuesday though, so I guess it's still too early to tell. I have no idea what I'll do at the end of 2ww if I still have BFN and no AF... Scream a bit? Oh my gosh, the doctor won't know what's hit them....

Just make sure your OH gives you plenty of TLC!

Oh EmmaLou, the wait and uncertainty is so annoying and stressful.

I'm on cd39 and still no AF and got another BFN yesterday morning. Gonna have to go for a blood test this week I think..

All 3 HPKs have been CB ones - one a 'plus' one and the other 2 CB digis. I've heard the digis arent v sensitive, so I'm wondering/hoping if it's the brand of test or something?

Now at CD38 and still no sign of AF!! I'm trying not to get my hopes and too excited, just in case. I'm going to test for a third time on Sunday morning, so that I can get a blood test booked in first thing Monday if it's still a BFN. AF has never been this late (10days) before...

I have had the odd sip of wine, but nothing serious. I must admit that I cancelled on a girly night out with a good friend because when we meet up, we normally find ourselves pretty drunk by the end of the night, so I just avoided the temptation. If I do get a BFP, I might ask DH to stop drinking at home - esp. when he has nice cold crisp glass of white wine... :)

So Knitting - I'm sure a small tipple with food should be ok if you're still in Limbo.

Sorry to hear that Fuchzia, fingers crossed for next month. I'm also struggling to get DH to get with the programme! He does kind of understand it all but I think he's finding it a bit odd to be DTD this often!! Until now sex has always been for fun, I know it sounds dumb but it's difficult to associate shagging with babies IYSWIM!

I'm fairly sure I ovulated a few days ago, weird pains and my temp went up a fair bit (first month charting so not really sure how much it's meant to go up!). Can't decide when to test because I don't know how long my cycle will be this month! Any suggestions?! I'm going to this wedding on 1 July (and want to drink if I can) but I'm kidding myself I'll hold out from testing till then!! Symptom spotting like mad ? even though I haven't got any!! I did have this nice warm glowy feeling in my tummy though... does that count?!

Ach AF arrived today. Actually glad to have the situation resolved tbh. Told DH that we are stepping up the baby making next month and getting more scientific about it - before this I just assumed you ovulated in the middle of your cycle. Good luck everyone!

Still no AF for me. Have resisted all urges to test until Monday morning (not sure how). Have also been super busy at work (hence the silence from me) but has also been a welcome distraction.

Still feeling nauseous every now and again, but boobs ok (big, but not especially sore). Anyone else getting symptoms?!

That's great Emmalou, good for you sticking to your guns. Results really take a week though?

Me, I am in this boat it is driving me mad!! I have had no af since 23/3 all tests have been bfn and ov tests all neg too, i dont have a clue what is going on, this has never happened before does anyone have any idea?

Thanks I'll just have to wait a while I guess. Meant to say 34 not 38 anyway. I shouldn't worry about the dress Emmalou. It took me a good 15 weeks to start showing with DS. I am still drinking I can't face the assumptions if I wasn't. I also do social stuff with clients where it can't be avoided. I think I'm being very subtle at making half a glass of wine last all evening

Hi Fuchzia. Personally I would wait another week and test again ? I think they might say that it's still too early to really tell. But you know your cycle best, so if you think there's something up then you may well be right!

Hi girls, Knitterati I'm very glad to hear your doctor was a bit more useful than mine, I suppose the situation is a bit different. Keeping fingers tightly crossed for you. We were hoping to stay unscientific but I think I'm a bit too obsessive!! Also I'm off work at the moment so not enough other things to think about... What day are you on now? Are you going to test again? In a week? Eeeek! I would really struggle to wait that long!!

I did a pg test yesterday helen ? becasue I had exactly the same thought as you! And it came back negative (obviously). I have also read somewhere (can't remember where ? have read pretty much everything i can get my hands on online!) that a positive test can mean your period is due. But I'm not sure that that makes a lot of sense... Hey ho. Gonna do another OV test today and see where we are. We DTD last night and night before so if I am ovulating then fingers crossed... Where do you guys stand on the putting feet in the air after sex? DH says that it makes no difference and ruins the moment!! I don't think he quite understands that for me the moment was kind of ruined already ? weeing in a cup dictating when you have sex? Mmm, romantic...

Let us know how you get on Emmalou. Many congrats on upcoming wedding. I know it's a bit of cliche, but we got married a year and a half ago and it was AMAZING. I've turned into one of those boring people who goes round telling everyone to get married! But I enjoyed it so much more than I expected to!! You spend so much time planning, and hoping other people enjoy it, and then on the day you have so much fun you just don't care! Just wish I had drunk a little less so I could remember a little more of it

Fingers crossed you get your BFP ? I wouldn't worry about your dress, I think you're unlikely to be showing by then? Is it really clingy? Mine was puffy enough that I would have been able to hide a little bump I think...

Oh, and just to make this post even longer, are you guys drinking still? While waiting to test? I have definitley cut down, but we have a big family wedding in a couple of weeks and i think people might notice if I don't drink anything. I guess I can slip the champagne to my DH and then stick to vodka and orange (without the vodka). But it does seem a shame to go to all that bother if I'm not actually PG.... Thoughts?
