First clomid pill popped last night

The twin thing is interesting isn't it - in some ways I would love a pair (!) but in another I would worry about their health, my health, finances, if we'd have to move house, whether I'd ever get my body back, etc.!

Well - got my smiley face this morning! DTD last night, Tues night, Sun night. Am going to an awards 'do this evening and won't be back until late so there's a chance we won't DTD tonight (even I'm not so cruel that I'll wake OH up just to have sex) but will be able to tomorrow night. Do you think we'll have it covered? On second thoughts, I might sneak one in tonight if he's still looking semi-awake!!!

My doc has said twins would be highly undesirable for me as have an odd shaped uterus. I am not sure I wanted to know that as imagine the constant worry I would have if in that clomid 8-10%.

Apparently J-lo, Angelina, Mariah etc all had clomid babies

I'm still cringing at my behaviour over the weekend tbh . What I didn't mention above was that I threw up at the (busy) train station. In rush hour.

Still no sign of AF. The idea of twins doesn't strike me with dread (it probably ought to), but anything more makes me There is an 8-10% chance of multiples if Clomid is successful. I don't know whether the chance increases with the dosage of Clomid though. I'm on 100mg (was on 50mg when conceived DS1).

Keep up the SWI MrsHY1, whether or not you get a temp rise. Fingers crossed eh?

Fxed for you twolittlemonkeys! Ovulation is still eluding me- despite the promising ewcm on Sunday and Monday. Don't think I've missed it either- as temp still down. Don't know where it is!! Still getting the odd twinge in my left hand side so hopefully it's forthcoming... X

To be honest I don't know how many dpo I am. Clomid regulates my cycles to an extent - first few cycles of it gave me a 28-29 day cycle but my last one was 33 days. If AF fails to show I'll test again on Friday. Getting a BFN today makes me feel less guilty about all the rides I went on at Thorpe Park at the weekend! Although when I threw up after one I did wonder whether pregnancy could be the cause of me being sensitive as I normally love rides. (In actual fact I'm probably just getting old!)

I'm sure our bodies just try to trick us! Can't really help MrsHY1 as I don't use OPKs (I spent too much energy getting obsessed with ttc#1 so am trying to keep a lid on it this time!)

mrshy1 I get EWCM usually two days before I get the smiley face and am often a bit dry by the time it occurs. Also remember that the OPKs are not fool proof and sometimes you can just miss the peak time but keep testing and keep BDing!

monkeys it isn't over until the nasty aunt sings, fx for you. My sis didn't get a BFP until 17DPO.

twolittlemonkeys how many DPO are you? Do you know? Apols if you've already answered that in an earlier post. You never know - quite a few people get their BFP 15 DPO or later, so as you say - not out of the running yet!

As for me - am really confused! Had a lot of EWCM on Sunday and I've had panging in my left ovary since then - but still no smiley face OPK and no temp rise. Also the EWCM went away yesterday. Had a bit today - but (really sorry for the TMI here) but not sure if it's actually EWCM or if it might be a bit of leftover Conceive Plus lubricant from our BDing on Sunday night!?!

Well today's CD30 so I tested first thing and....... nothing. Not a whiff of a BFP. Guess I'm out for this month. Am starting to feel some cramps so AF is probably on the way. It's not over til the fat lady sings though, so just have to patiently await the arrival of that unwelcome visitor then try again. Good luck to those still in the race!

happy I ov'd really early, on CD12 the first cycle and CD9 the second cycle that I took clomid. I have a regular cycle normally so I think clomid just makes it happen faster for me. I don't think early is all that normal though.

twolittlemonkeys - you sound just like me . Lets hope we get that third little monkey each.

Nope i'm on cd6 i only had a light period for 2 days now got alot of brown discharge sorry 4 tmi

Any weekend testers on the thread? I'm trying to hold out til Tuesday (CD30) but the suspense is killing me - I hate the 2ww! I have some distractions in place over the weekend though - am away Sat afternoon til Monday night so as long as I don't take any tests with me or get persuaded by my friend (who knows we're ttc) to test whilst I'm away with her then I should be able to resist the urge to POAS prematurely. I'm giving myself to the end of this year (as that's all the Clomid I'm allowed) then if we haven't managed it, I will be content with my lot. I really am grateful for my 2 children, but whilst I'm broody for more, I want to start moving on with the next phase iyswim?

I too have two lovely children and tried for a long time for both of them but given age have decided to try for no. 3 and consultant suggested clomid after a year of trying this time round! I will have to go and buy another pack of test sticks!

I found I ov'd a bit later than normal. the egg whites are a good indication that you are about to ovulate. I would say keep peeing on those sticks and shagging. I think you'll get your positive smiley face soon.

ps. I have endo as well. luckily it has not stopped me getting pregnant. I have 2 lovely sons and have had 2 MC's. it is however quite painful but i know it could be worse.

Hi, can anyone help? What days have you ov when taking clomid. I took 50mg on days 2 -6 and started testing on day 10 and now am on day 15 and still no smiley face. Should I carry on testing or is there a possibility I ov very early this month because of taking clomid? I am worried I missed the boat. Also my problem is endo and I am 39 but I do ovulate normally.

really glad the wedding went well emma - it is such a special day in a girls life.

it wasn't actually a holiday - we went to the place that we are re-locating to and tried to find somewhere to rent for 6 months whilst we house hunt properly. Total nightmare actually. Only been there one hour when i drove over some raised ironwork in the road and TOTALLY took out the exhaust. So £400 later we were back on the road

Then 3 of the properties we were meant to view got taken by other people and the three we had left to view were all horrid and musty. SO we came back with no address and we have to move out of our house in 3.5 weeks cos we are about to exchange contracts. Plus we can't apply for school places until we have an address - can you see why I decided not to waste the clomid this month

i am back on clomid this month as af arrived on my wedding day saturday going to try day 4 to 9

Hi all, clomid continues to make things earlier for me, just had a smiley face on CD9. Last month CD11. I have researched a bit and others have had the same. Not being monitored this month as on holiday. Just hope not too many follicles as doctor has said it is not a good idea for me to get pg with twins due to odd shaped uterus :)

Mrshy - I got lots of twinges in both courses. I wondered whether they were psychosomatic but I had to stop playing tennis because of them so I am sure they weren't in my imagination!
