Anyone want to join me at the start of another 2 ww?

I am due on around the 11th/12th of May. This is our 4th cycle of TTC number 2, after a MC last Jan, and our 2nd cycle using a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor to keep track of things. We managed to DTD 5 times (a record for us!) in the days just before and while I was (hopefully) ovulating, so I have (despite my best efforts) got my hopes up that this month will be the month.

Anyone else out there got 2 weeks of waiting and symptom-checking looming and want some company?

ElmMum please don't give up hope yet, at least not until AF comes.

Sorry, Sims. Hope next month is THE month.

I'm still cramping and have been feeling ever so nauseous, but wonder if I'm imagining it. 95% expecting AF any day now, but most likely Sunday. Will treat myself to a glass of wine by way of commiseration when it arrives.

Sorry sims and euro. melies, you've got til Monday so don't give up yet.

I'm going to sign off for a bit - I want to think about something else for a few days and regroup. Going to the doc on Tuesday, so will probably come back then to see how everyone's doing.

I am feeling quite positive but I did on cycle 1 last time and it took 3 to get that bfp.

I'm not feeling positive about this month either euro, I've got till Monday until af gets me though!

I only have an 11 day luteal phase and am 11dpo today and feel like AF is imminent.

My period arrived this morning, so no baby next January for me unfortunately. I wish everyone else good luck but if it doesnt work out I may see you on a similar thread in a month's time! Xx

doesnt mean ur out euro, there are plenty of people on here who havent had positive test until AFTER their period due. When did u ov? it can take 14 days after of to pick up the hcg

I had another negative today and my period is due tomorrow, so I am definitely out this month. I am feeling a little down about it as this is the 5th month of perfectly timed SWI and nada.

The great thing about charting is that I can now predict the arrival of my period rather than always being taken by surprise.

sorry elmmum its shit isnt, particularly since it was so quick before but its probably sheer luck the las times and now you're prob just doing the 1in4 game. how long have u been trying this time?

no sign of af here. wish i had a test!!!!

ElmMum so sorry to hear, I really hope it's only as it's an early test. I'm sure I've read somewhere that even with doing everything 'technically' right the odds are still 1 in 4 for a BFP, that's what I'm telling myself anyway . . .

I've got all my usual PMS symptoms and as this is TTC #1 I've got no idea, I did find myself stuck in traffic yesterday evening and having a feel to see how tender my boobs were and then realising that other people could actually see me Blush

it's going to be a manic few days at work so I'm hoping to wait till at least the weekend if I can't wait till AF is late, everything crossed for anyone else testing today or tomorow

ElmMum sorry to hear that. Keep the faith it will happen. AF still hasn't come either.
I have had to get up to pee in the night for 2-3 nights in a row now. If I'm not pregnant I'm going to the doctor for a bladder investigation :)

Morning all, BFN here. Feel very low. Think I knew it but because you just want so much to be pg, you just have that little bit of hope. Have made an appointment for me and DH with the GP next week. I know the stats and people will say it takes time etc but I know there is something not right. We got pg twice first go (DD then MC) and I know we've dtd on the right days.

Just so want it to be different. How lovely to have a different reality and be expecting a lovely new baby.

Sorry to be a downer. FX for the rest of you.

Can I join? Due Sunday, will be testing Saturday (2days time) but have a sneaky feeling we may have cracked it. Got all the symptoms I've had before, although we all know that can mean nothing.
Typical really, as this month is the one where I kicked back, got really drunk several times, and booked an expensive holiday to the USA.

Fingers crossed.

tender nipples today. Not had it noticibly since two weeks after stopping the pill. Also, have checked my fertilityfriend charts and my two cycles off the pill have both had spotting on day 27- today is 27 and nothing at the moment. ooooooo fingers and toes crossed for upettyduffedyness. was going to test tomorrow with first morning wee but my tests havent arrived from amazon yet, so will prob test friday morning if no AF before then.

Wierd feeling that something monumental could be in progress which we have no way of knowing, controlling or predicting....

No preggardy symptoms for me this month. AF due on Friday so I think I am out. meh.

I am going to hold out until monday at least, Hopefully till the end of the week as I am late by a week sometimes. I doubt i'll last that long though.

I am still feeling crampy and today while watching ds swim I felt sick. Very odd. I am tired too. I really hope these aren't imaginary symptoms Smile

I'm STILL waiting, it's starting to drive me crazy now. At least it's only 2 more days till the weekend :) I will test on either Sat or Sun morning but don't think I can handle getting another BFN this late when still no period. Know I will have to try though as can't go to GP without doing another test. Once I get an answer I will be able to go and ask for investigations if still BFN.

pommed I think if I get a BFN I'll believe it. I know people get them and go on to get BFPs but the two times I've been pg (DD and then MC), I tested early and got a good strong unmistakable BFP.

Don't think I'll be able to wait so it's tomorrow morning for me. I'll let you know the outcome but I'll be away from the computer all day, so if I can't update before I leave the house, it won't be til the evening!

I bought 4 FR tests today on the way home as DH couldn't get out either. 4!! Looney. Going to see if I can hold out till Friday am.

Awww elmmum, I can definitely sympathise! I am making myself stop checking my pants every 5 minutes as I am still sure I'm about to start, but now that I'm overdue for my period I'm starting to really dread my period starting whereas when I had period pains the day before it was due I just accepted it was on its way. Now I am so desperate for it to not be on its way and for me to actually be pregnant!

I am telling myself that it's still unlikely though, as it's our first month of proper trying, though I know some people do get pregnant straight away. It's just so hard not to get excited!

I have just been to the supermarket with my husband and when we were at the checkout I had to go and stand outside as I felt really sick. Which I hope is a pregnancy sign but I do sometimes feel a bit sick at the start of a period. My husband thinks I was just trying to get out of packing the shopping!

Now that I've decided to test tomorrow I am symptom-spotting like mad. My boobs definitely feel massive today. Terrified now because I think I think I'm pg but I know that I've thought that before and been disappointed, so am on pins. Really really want a BFP. Fear I'm going to get a BFN.

I'll never make it to the morning! HOW AM I GOING TO SLEEP!!!!! (I'll stop the manic posting now!) Blush

Hope testing goes well tomorrow for everyone. I've had twinges in my boobs but had that the last few months since coming off the pill so I'm guessing it's just a pre-menstrual symptom and AF is on her way! I've also had some cramping sensations so not looking good for me! Elmmum, I totally understand the 'not feeling pg' I was actually saying this to my husband last night! AF due on Sun so not too much longer to wait ...
