That's it really. I'm CD 6, having red days, planning my BD-ing & wandering if anyone else is in the same boat as me...?

Hi

3Cats - Hopefully you will get sorted out on the 12th i know what you mean by going private at least you won't have to wait.

I'm on CD8 i think. I am a bit annoyed because i wanted to do Persona this month so i can see if ov will be on cd13 as usual after being knocked out of sync last month, but the sticks i've ordered haven't turned up. I ordered 2 packs so i can't really afford to go & buy anymore. I think i have 1 clearblue ov stick left will try that instead.

Me again,
Saw my Gyny yesterday. I'm booked in for a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on 12th July.
We decided to go privately to get it over with.

I'm not looking forward to it but at least I'll know what it is or isn't.

CONGRATULATIONS PeachyGirl thats wonderful news Grin

peachygirl · 15/06/2006 16:45

Hi
I don't know how much you lurk on the other threads but I got my BFP today!
I really hope things work out for you both !

JAG123 · 15/06/2006 16:44

Hi 3Cats

Snap CD1 here too 6 days late. I think that scan or rather the stuff i was injected with knocked my cycle out as i am usually spot on.
Had good news on Friday went for the ultrasound on my breast but didn't have to have it done they reviewed my scans & xrays etc & decided that there wasn't a problem after all & my cancer is now classed as cured.
I've also had my appointment through for Fertility clinic through for July 27th.

I hope you feel better soon i get really grouchy too.

3catstoo · 14/06/2006 20:46

CD 1 for me today.
Feel yuk and moody and angry at everything and everyone !!!
I hate this bit !

3catstoo · 09/06/2006 12:11

Still all over the place unfortunately.
On day 25 now and no spotting yet.
Lots of people have said that a laperoscopy can just flush your system out so even if they don't find anything it can still improve things. Lets hope that's the case.
Evening primrose is meant to be good too. I'll give it a go.

Take care.

JAG123 · 08/06/2006 19:33

Hi

I agree with 3catstoo that holiday sounds great i am Envy. It might help with the ttc too you always here of people conceiving when on holiday. Although it would be even better before that.

3Catstoo - That sounds really positive and its something else ruled out. Are you still having problems with your periods or have they settled at all?

I'm just waiting for AF now so we can hopefully get back on track.

J Smile

3catstoo · 08/06/2006 14:03

Hi again,

Peachy that holiday sounds fantastic!!

Had my scan today. After waiting for an hour the scan took 5 mins. No fibroids were found. The gyny didn't think there would be but wanted to rule it out first. I have got lots of dilated veins though (like varicous veins only in the pelvic region instead) they can sometimes cause pain but none of my other symptoms. They are quite harmless.
Just have to wait for a laperoscopy now. goodness knows when.

DH and I are speaking again now after the teeth issue. I hate arguing.

All the best.
3cats.

peachygirl · 07/06/2006 20:29

Hi Jag and 3cats
Thanks for your kind words. I think I might try to dip next month. We have got a holiday planned but not til august, so quite a way away. Its a big one though so lots of planning an to take my mind off everything we're off to the USA, San Fransico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
I agree with Jag, feel free to rant here 3cats. Jobs like that are so time consuming.I'm involved in a copule of groups and the work connected to it is often the last thing I want to do at the end of the day.

JAG123 · 07/06/2006 20:03

Hi Peachygirl sorry your machines not giving you results. Do you collect & dip? I find this much easier & always count to 20 rather than 15 like it says.

3Catstoo - You rant away its much better to get it all off your chest. Its unfair how the women always seems to end up with the day to day child rearing & the man just seems to have an opinion when problems occur. I am fairly lucky in the sense that my DH was literally left holding the baby when i was ill so he understands how hard it is looking after one all day (let alone 3!.)
Anyway i hope everything has blown over today. Good Luck with your scan tomorrow.

3catstoo · 06/06/2006 21:55

Hi Peachy. Sorry to hear you've had no luck yet. Have you any hols planned? It seems to be a good way to relax and maybe something will happen.

Jag - the village hall work is ongoing. We get post daily and money in little bags posted through the letterbox. DH has said he will do it for another year then give up. Although the last person that did it struggled to find someone and annoyingly duped DH. He said it only took up a couple of hours a month. I think if he had been honest no one would have taken it on.
It's a case of the hall closing if there is no treasurer but I think family should take priority.
DH was in bed at 9.30 this evening as he was so tired. He got back from his village hall meeting at 11.30 last night.

We had a bit of an argument tonight about DS. He has slight tooth decay in one of his teeth. Of course DH now thinks I feed him sweets all day.
Actually I don't let them have sweets. They have chocolate at the weekend or if it's someones birthday at school and freddos are given out. They do however have icecream or a small cake after their fruit pudding. I now have to cut that out. The dentist did say that he was probably just prone to it. A 6.5 year old would have to be eating sweets 24 hours a day to get decay so soon. DH doesn't see it that way.
I told him to take DS to the dentist next time so he can hear for himself.
DS still wets the bed every night. I did this as a child too so this is my fault as it is hereditory. It seems everything else is down to me too.

Sorry I'm having a rant. I hate arguing and really dislike being disbelieved by DH.
It's almost as if he thinks less of me for not having a 'proper job'. Not that he would want me to but it still feels that way. I'm just a dull housewife with very few skills.

I'm ranting again.

I had better go to bed and sleep it off.

Take care.

xx

peachygirl · 06/06/2006 20:09

Hi guys I thought I'd pop in to see how you are and to let you know I'm still givingmy machine a go - although no egg sign this month - GRRR, but allother sign point to Ov occuring so it could be me not aiming at the stick right!

JAG123 · 06/06/2006 19:24

There never seems to be enough hours in day does there. Is the community work something that will ease off or is it always hectic. One of the reasons my DH isn't as keen on another baby is because he is always tired. He works at Landrover in the factory so its quite hard physically he comes home shattered too.

Like you said though we need to get ourselves sorted out physically first anyway.

I still haven't had an appointment through for fertility doc yet i'm wondering if my gp has sent referal off.

Take Care

3catstoo · 05/06/2006 23:11

Dawlish is nice. I went there as a child camping with my parents and grandparents.

Good Luck with your scan on Friday.

No, DH is still not convinced. I'm not giving in just yet though. Maybe once I'm sorted out I'll push him a bit harder. At the moment I'm a bit half hearted because I know I need to make sure everything is as it should be, health wise.
DH is very busy at work and is also involved in our village hall committee, which takes up alot of time. So life seems to whizz by and he's just stressed about the workload and the tiredness.
He had to go to bed for an hour on Saturday afternoon as we were going out in the evening and he didn't think he would last.
I hadn't realised how tired he was and gave him a hard time about it. I sympathise now.
If he isn't working really late then he has his tea then starts on the village hall stuff. It's the kind of thing that needs to be done by a retired person rather than someone with a full time job and a family to contend with.

JAG123 · 05/06/2006 20:28

We had a lovely time thanks. We went to Dawlish in Devon.

Its understandable that you would feel nervous they aren't the most comfortable. I think that the best thing you can do is try to relax (easier said than done i know).

I'm hoping that it will be the end of my treatment but the pet scan showed some small cell activity in my other breast. We are hoping that it is nothing to worry about as these scans are quite new & very sensitive so they show everything. I had a mammogram & ultrasound a couple of weeks ago but they want to repeat ultrasound on Friday to double check. Hopefully it will be nothing.

Have you had any luck with bringing your DH around?

3catstoo · 05/06/2006 20:04

Hi Jag,
Hope you had a good holiday. Did you go anywhere nice?

I'm a bit nervous about the scan since being told it will be an internal. I haven't had one of those since I miscarried in Oct 1998. I guess the circumstances are different now but still it worries me.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Is that the end of your treatment now or will you still have to continue?

Hello all.
Has everyone disappeared from this thread now?

3catstoo · 16/05/2006 10:04

Hi all,

Brillmum, Persona does not work for irregular cycles. I have the same problem. I haven't tested this month as it's a waste of money. Still pressed the M button though. It can only cope with regular cycles of less than 35 days and more than 25.
HTH.

AF arrived today.
Have a scan booked for 8th June. Hopefully it will come around quickly.

Take care.

JAG123 · 15/05/2006 18:34

Hi Ladies

I'm sorry i have no idea about Persona if you ov later. I recall something in the instructions about it being no good if your cycles are less than 25days or more than 35 (i think).

Sorry I'm not much help but just wanted to say Hi
