That's it really. I'm CD 6, having red days, planning my BD-ing & wandering if anyone else is in the same boat as me...?

hi all, have read this thread and feel like i know you all. have been using persona for 4 months, initially for contraception although my dh and i are planning to get knocked up soon, loks like it might be sooner than planed as had a little bd on a red day this month cd15, no o sign at all this month although did get the heavy blue line which normally comes just before the little o - usually day 16. Think I might be PG - is day 27, AF due tomorrow, did early HPT and got no line saying the test worked properly, did another today but its one that supposed to do on due day, very faint line - but a line - still not sure, haven't even spoken to dh about it - freaked out, although at 34 my clocks ticking, its like time to get going ready or not .... feels good to share

Thanks Natty.

Wishing everyone a good weekend.

Natty1806 · 14/09/2006 16:51

Yes it probably will, make sure you mark the sick symbol and if it thinks you temps are different because of this it will do something with them, maybe take them out.

3catstoo · 14/09/2006 10:02

I read that Clomid dries up CM. A bit ironic really. Cures one thing but causes another.
Hope the grapefruit works.

I have a cold now. Will that effect my chart?

Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 20:06

Forgot to say clomid drys up CM so i going to be taking grapefruit juice after AF up to ov and i EPO + cough med aparently it all helps.

Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 20:05

yeah i chart, but do not do do cervix pos Just Cm and temp.

3catstoo · 13/09/2006 14:14

That's quite good really.

I find it a bit confusing the way it adjusts my temperature because I took it earlier. I guess I need to read the book in more detail. I must have skimmed that section.

Also having trouble deciding whether my cervix is high or low. At this point it should be low but it feels pretty high to me. If it gets any higher I won't be able to reach it!
After having children your cervix is usually partly open so it's also difficult to tell if it's open more than usual.
I don't think I'm going to be very good at this charting thing.

Do you still chart your cycles Natty?

Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 07:15

No not at all it came out at £21.69 or something so not too pricey.

3catstoo · 12/09/2006 19:56

How much did the software cost Natty? I could only see the $ figure. Hope you don't think I'm too cheeky asking.

Natty1806 · 12/09/2006 18:56

Thanks ladies lets hope it works for me.

I have paid for that software i did do the 15 day trial it is easier than me trying to fill in charts just type it in and it does it all for you.

3catstoo · 12/09/2006 14:10

My goodness, I need to go back to school. Is there such a word as spelt? Spelled must be what I meant.
I am tired but that's no excuse.

Jolly phonics here I come.

3catstoo · 12/09/2006 14:08

I've just started a free 15 day trial of Ovusoft fertility softwate. It's by Toni Weschler (at last I've spelt her name right !!!).
15 days isn't much but I thought it might make me remember to check my temp before getting up.

Glad AF arrived finally, Natty. Good Luck with the Clomid. Fingers crossed that there is good news soon.

Have you always had light AFs Jag?
I was on the mini pill for years to make my flow more manageable. That is progesterone only I believe. I can't take oestrogen (spelling?) because of my migraines. The mini pill certainly gave me a shorter and lighter flow than I had previously had. Maybe there is a link with your own progesterone levels too.

JAG123 · 11/09/2006 19:53

Hi

Natty - I'm glad that you didn't have to wait too long. Good luck

3Cats - Glad you're feeling a little better.
I've thought about giving temping a try. I don't know if i could be disciplined enough though.

Natty1806 · 11/09/2006 17:42

Hi Ladies

Glad everyone is well, AF arrived on Sunday so start taking clomid today.

Jag not sure about progestrone effecting the light/heavyness of AF.

3catstoo · 11/09/2006 13:37

Another weekend over !

How is everyone today?

I'm feeling much better than last week. Still have AF and stomach pain but migraines have gone so it's a big relief.

I remembered to take my temp before getting up this morning. So my chart starts on CD5. Not sure how successful it will be but it's another way of getting to know my cycle so I'll try it, if I remember each morning.

Best wishes to you all.

JAG123 · 08/09/2006 19:52

Sorry about AF 3cats & for your pain.

Natty - Even more waiting! You are very patient. Do you know if the amount of progesterone that is produced affects the level of AF. I only ask because i wonder if this could be my problem. As i'm getting regular surges so i'm sure i'm oving & my cycle is like clockwork but my AFs are very light. I get my blood results on 5th Oct.

Hi BBWB - I know what you mean about remembering to test. I should have done my cd6 one today but i forgot so i don't know whether to bother this month now. As for the bd we have had problems too due to illness on my part. We are getting there now although we still only manage a couple of times around ov. Have you thought about trying preseed? Its a sperm friendly lubricant which might make it easier for you.

Have a good weekend all
J

3catstoo · 08/09/2006 19:21

Hi Ladies,

AF arrived yesterday
It's very very heavy. The worst I've had. Pain was bad all week in my stomach area. Made me think I need to convince DH or have the op fairly soon. I can't go on like this.

I was going to try charting/temping this month but forgot to take my temp yesterday and today. Not a good start.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

xxxxxx

BBWBabeLisa · 08/09/2006 14:41

Good luck with the pills natty!

Has AF come yet 3cats?

How you getting on Jag?

I'm in Glasgow at mo as GD is ill. CD 8 today, persona went red yesterday on CD7 (no testing required). Think it's just not got the hang of my cycle yet, as I don't ovulate til day 20 or thereabouts so cd7 seems a bit early for red days (but it is only the 2nd month using the machine again and I wasnt as reliable as I should have been about remembering to test last month). Will be home on Monday night so will be cd 11, so home in plenty of time for BD'ing nearer the time of ov. Having said that, we haven't managed to successfully BD yet since DD's birth (sorry if TMI but I have torn slightly both times we've tried so had to stop), so that may take a bit of perseverence if we want this month to be THE month.

Natty1806 · 08/09/2006 08:51

Hi Jag

the tablets work my giving me a similar hormone to the one normal ladies get before they have there period (progestrone) and then when i stop taking them i should bleed within a day or two, so should be on this time next week.

How long before you get blood results back?

JAG123 · 07/09/2006 20:38

Hi All

Natty - Any sign of AF yet? Have you found out how long the tablets take to work?

3cats - Hope your AF is still staying away.

Not sure what caused the rash. Think it may be Dove deo have used before but have bought a different flavour one. Might try it again to see if i get the same reaction so i will know. I haven't got the Toni Weshler book yet. Its on my list of to buys but have got DH & DD B/days coming up so it will have to wait for now. I'm feeling a bit better now. It was just having symptoms i don't usually have got my hopes up so even more disappointing when AF arrived. Have done both my bloods & DH has got sperm test next week so things are moving.

Take Care
J

Natty1806 · 05/09/2006 14:56

Not sure have been told to take them for 7 days so no idea if they will amke it start tomorrow or in a weeks time, have sent my brother an e mail who is a pharmasist.

3catstoo · 05/09/2006 14:43

Glad you got oyur tablets.
How quickly will they work?

Good Luck

Natty1806 · 05/09/2006 11:13

Hi

Have been to doctors and have the tablets that should have bring on a bleed going to start taking them today at lunch time.

sorry to hear AF is on her way 3cats and DH is talking of selling baby stuff.

3catstoo · 05/09/2006 09:27

Glad your face is better Jag. Any clues as to what caused it?
Sorry about AF.
You still have blood test results to get don't you? Hopefully that will shed light on things.
Have you got the Toni Welcher book?

Mine is due any day now. Had all the run up signs.

I hadn't expected a pos result but still felt a bit disappointed after the test anyway.

DH is talking of selling the pushchairs and highchair ! Not what I want to hear.

Take care

Let us know what happens today Natty.
