That's it really. I'm CD 6, having red days, planning my BD-ing & wandering if anyone else is in the same boat as me...?

That does sound positive with your DH

I have to phone for x-ray when my AF arrives. It has to be done early in the cycle to make sure that you aren't just pg (chance would be a fine thing). It does say on the info I have though that appointments might not be available in the 1st cycle.

How are you getting on with your temping software?

3catstoo · 16/10/2006 20:46

Glad you are both feeling better Jag.

I didn't sleep well at all. I'm not used to DH going away anymore.
He's back on Thursday night and then we're off for our 'do we move or not' weekend.

Yesterday DH seemed to be almost coming around to the idea of number 4. On Saturday we BD'd without the dreaded c word (sorry if TMI). He knew that the fertilitysoftware had predicted Tuesday (tomorrow) for Ov, but didn't seem too bothered.
When we spoke about it yesterday he said that although he didn't want another he knew I wouldn't give in so he can't really do anything about it.
I was amazed but did feel a bit of a bully. Still he can't be that against it to take risks and make comments like that.

When is your x ray?

JAG123 · 16/10/2006 19:26

Hi 3Cats

We're feeling much better thank you.
Not sure what day I'm on but AFs prob not far away.
I hope you managed to sleep ok with your DH away.
I think that I'm going to wait until I have the xray out of the way I might try the temping. I think our main plan of action is to try & bd more.

Take Care

Hi Ladies.
How are you all?

DH is away for a week now. I'm never very good at going to bed when he's not here.

CD 13 for me. Just temping not using Persona anymore.

Have you and DH recovered from your flu Jag? Hope you are feeling better.

Well I had better get to bed.

Goodnight all.

Natty1806 · 09/10/2006 18:18

Yeah i was told the X ray thing would be done a lot quicker and it can take up to 3 cycles to get it done due to timings etc as it is only done on a Tuesday.

Am having the lap and dye for a closer look and because i have slight polycystic ovaries it cause the ovaries to harden and have cyst around so they drill holes in them to make them softer and gets rid of some of the cysts.

Good news about the gym - really didn't want to give up.

JAG123 · 09/10/2006 17:33

Mine is with Nhs too. I was told to phone on the day that AF arrived (althougth it did say it may not be able to be done in the 1st cycle). I suppose its because the Lap & Dye is an Operation & the HSG is only an Xray.(one that I'm dreading mine you ). Unless it depends on the area in which we live.
Whats Ovarian Drilling? if you don't mind me asking.
I forgot to mention that i asked about the Gym thing. She said it would cause no probs at all & I could carry on without worrying.
Hope your AF is still staying away.

J

Natty1806 · 09/10/2006 15:10

That's how long the nhs waiting list is.

JAG123 · 09/10/2006 12:21

Thanks Ladies

I might think about giving temping a go. I keep forgeting to do the cd6 test on the persona. Although I always got my egg sign on either cd 12/13/14 so perhaps I should give the relax approach another try. I think I'm on cd13 we managed to bd last night, but we're both quite bad with this cold/flu type thing so it was a bit of a forced effort. Why does life always get in the way around ov time.

Natty - Why do you have to wait until March? Is it waiting to see if clomid works first?

J

3catstoo · 06/10/2006 21:59

Fantastic news Jag. I'm so pleased for you. Lets keep our fingers crossed that it happens quickly for you.

Are you going to start temping now?

Wishing you all a good weekend.

Dh is very confused I think, Jag. He gives me mixed signals about number 4.

No more news on the house hunting other than that we are going to stay in our chosen area for a weekend in 2 weeks time. My parents are having the children in our house.

So we'll make a decision after that.

Take care.

Natty1806 · 06/10/2006 18:00

That is excellent news Jag.

I have got at Lap & Dye plus ovarian drilling booked in for March.

10DPO now but to be honest just waiting for her to arrive now as i feel like she is on her way.

Am really pleased it went well and hopefully it is just a matter of time before you get your BFP. Do you temp?

JAG123 · 06/10/2006 17:52

Hi Natty

Well I had got myself all set up for bad news. Got this stinking cold it was tipping down with rain. The Doc started off by saying that she had confirmed that my cancer had been both oestragen & progesterone negative so if i needed to have an fertility drugs there wouldn't be a risk of reaccurance from my hormones. So i thought here we go, but then she started reeling off the figures. I think that she said my FSH level was 6.5 which she said was good. She def said my Day 20 test was 99 she said that this was excellent as anything over 30 was accepted. She called my DH a little star, i can't remember the figures but she said he had plenty to spare.
I then had to be examined & had swabs taken & she said that because i have had a C-Section they need to check my tubes (can cause infection apparently). I had to choose between a Hysterosalpingogram & a Lap & Dye. I have decided on the HSG as i don't really want to have another Op if i can help it. So just go to wait for AF to arrive then phone for appointment.

I really can't believe how lucky i am. Not only to have beaten the Cancer but to have such good results when i was told that there would be a 70% that i wouldn't be able to conceive again. I feel really blessed.

How are you Natty i hope that AF is staying well away for you.

J

Natty1806 · 06/10/2006 13:23

Hi J

How did you get on?

JAG123 · 04/10/2006 19:16

Hi Ladies

Sorry about the AFs .

3Cats - I think that your DH is secretly wanting no.4. He seems very willing to risk it considering he's so against the idea. How's the house hunting going? Is your DD all better now?

Natty - I really hope the clomid is doing its stuff for you.

BBWB - I'm sorry that your DH going away has messed up your ttc. Life always has a habit of getting in the way doesn't it.

Thanks for your kind thoughts for tommorrow ladies. I'm just wondering if i will end up having to have an internal as i didn't last time. I suppose it depends on the results. I'm full of cold at the moment so not really in the the mood for being poked about.
I will let you know the outcome. If its good news i might have to try that software you are using. I forgot to do my cd 6 test on Persona again this month so not worth carrying on.

Take Care
J

Natty1806 · 04/10/2006 13:04

Hi Sorry to hear about AF's girls.

I am 8DPO and have started getting very mild cramps today so not sure when she will turn up.

Had progestrone blood test on Monday and should get results next week this will confirm if the clomid worked and if i have ovualted (i think i have)

Jag - good luck for tomorrow let us know how you get on. x

3catstoo · 04/10/2006 13:01

Oh no! Sorry to hear that.

Perhaps you will be able to just forget about it for those 2 months and relax ready to start again once DH returns. Easier said than done I know. When is he due back? Before Christmas?

BBWBabeLisa · 04/10/2006 12:57

Thats pretty much it for us til Christmas. DH is off to Belize on about the 20th of this month for 2 months.

3catstoo · 04/10/2006 12:40

Not good news BBWB. Lets hope the run upto Christmas brings better luck.
What's your next step?

AF arrived for me yesterday. So a short 26 day cycle this month. After temping and charting for that cycle I can now see that my luteal phase is 11 days. 10 days is considered short so I think 11 is OK.

I'm not going to get too stressed about convincing DH this month as he will most likely be away at the crucial time.

Has anyone else got any news?

Natty, how is the clomid going?

Jag, are your tests/results this week?

All the best.
xxxx

BBWBabeLisa · 04/10/2006 12:19

AF arrived this morning. Oh well....here we go again.

BBWBabeLisa · 02/10/2006 21:43

Lots of cramping. Have always suffered badly during AF but been getting them much worse since the CS. Got lots of pg tests so will be testing daily til AF arrives. Have appt at the diabetic pre-conception clinic on Wednesday and if no AF by then I'm sure they'll test too.

3catstoo · 02/10/2006 20:29

BBWB, sorry about the negative test. Have you had any AF signs yet though?

CD 26 for me. Spotting started today. I expect it will develop into full AF by the end of the week.

Ironically this month DH was prepared to have unprotected BD (not knowing where I was in my cycle) but annoying he tried to rush me and I just couldn't take the pain so I suggested the dreaded condom !! (sorry if that was TMI). This new fertility software I am using predicted (a few days later) that it had been my peak day ! What a silly whatsit I am. What are the chances of that happening again.

Well later this month when this software predicts Ov, DH is away for the week with work.

Still I haven't convinced him yet but I'm still trying.

Wishing you all lots of baby dust and lots of luck for this coming month.

Good Luck with the appts this week too.

BBWBabeLisa · 02/10/2006 11:47

How we all doing? CD 32 for me today. Cycle usually 30-32 ish. Neg PG test this morning so not hopeful, probably just a long cycle this month. L x

Natty1806 · 29/09/2006 10:07

sorry to hear DD is ill hope she feels better soon. x

3catstoo · 29/09/2006 09:50

Sorry to hear of AF Jag.

Glad to hear that Clomid is working for you Natty. Hope it continues to work it's magic. Good luck on Monday with your blood tests.

The build up to AF has started. I'm covered in spots on my neck and chin. Oh the joys...

DD1 is poorly today, tucked up on the sofa watching Auntie Mable. It means we have an easy day at home together.
I get so annoyed at parents sending their children into school ill. It only spreads these viruses around more. All for the sake of a day shopping or socialising! It's a real bug bare of mine. I'm probably at the other extreme and let them stay at home too much. Any sign of illness and I'm happy to have them at home with me.
It seems to be a sore head, tummy and throat this time.

Take care.

Natty1806 · 29/09/2006 06:59

Yeah, you just need an answer cause at least you will know then, fingers crossed everything is fine for you.

Hot flushes stopped a day or two after taking clomid, think i oved on Mon/Tues so should be due around 10th/11th/12??

Have nice weekend. x

JAG123 · 28/09/2006 19:27

Thanks Natty my app is on the 5th. I'm torn between needing to know if the chemo has affected me, so i can get over it & not keep getting worked up every month to thinking well a least if i don't know there is always a chance.

How do you feel are there any signs of ov approaching? Are you still getting the hot flushes.
