There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

Yup, excellent way of putting it. And light spotting has arrived, expect heavy bleeding (and the horrible pain that goes with it) later. Can now look forward to unrestricted cocktails n coffee (not in that order :p) on my day off at least.

So how many days do you reckon you'll leave it 'til testing again?

Bexamundo · 25/04/2011 09:20

I was awake at 4.30. Checked temp them cos I had to wee. Peed in pot and saved it til it was light to test, figured I squint enough without doing it in that dark!
Was then awake for a good hour with backache and slight feeling someone left a rock on my belly...not like usual af cramps when it feels like someone is squeezing me with their fist. Took paracetamol and it eased so I slept. Course i took temp again when I woke after 3 more hours sleep, still high (obsessive, moi?!).
Griselda that's pants! And comiserations to you dizzy if the with is knocking at your door. But like you say, in a way you need af to arrive so you can get it over with a go for it next cycle!

Temp sounds positive, maybe the hcg levels are too low to register still.

Period pains here, no AH yet. Time to start thinking for this cycle, maybe this cycle will be our cycle Griselda? ~hopeful smiley

PatientGriselda · 25/04/2011 07:03

Still spotting, but it does feel like it's going to develop. Ah well.

PatientGriselda · 25/04/2011 06:44

The temps sound really good, but as you say, you've just got to hold your nerve and wait and test again.

Spotting for me at 4am. Going to get up on a minute and see f it's turned into full on bleeding.

Bexamundo · 25/04/2011 05:35

Ok so temp still up-that's 17 now. Test : bfn :( so waiting game!

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 24/04/2011 22:27

If you wake for pee at 4.45 you should probably test then (or am I just completely mad?) - don't think hcg levels would have time to sufficiently concentrate to give a positive reading by 6am if you didn't.

btw good luck. am myself looking to the day with a little dread - absolutely certain this won't be my month, but still can't help hoping - don't want the arrival of AH, will see what tomorrow brings.

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 22:19

Have not set alarm and have prayed not to wake for pee at 4.45am again! But will see. As soon as I stir sure I'll temp. Have aching in abdomen and lower back bit that could be a sign either way. Paracetamol and early night. Speak to you in the morning!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 21:19

Will be waiting with bated breath early tomorrow morning then! Good luck!

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 21:15

Yup sitting on hands tonight challenging af to a fight, watching, waiting. Each high temp gets a 'get in!' At 6am!

gosh bex only just read this thread, this sounds v promising! I shall check back in tomorrow at some point. Happy Easter lady!

PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 20:29

Ooh excellent! I shall go through that thoroughly later whilst watching DP's boring DVD choice!

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 16:50

silly me!! (Baby brain of course!)
meant this:

Going to test in the morning if temp is still high. If it's dropped, will have to assume not up the duffer and expect af instead.

PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 16:39

Did you mean to post a link back to this thread, or to something else?

No new symptoms for me, just tender, tender breasts. When are you testing again? Remind me?

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 16:12

Guess who's been googling? Just to help the obsessing along, to pass the time....

Interesting update: went to local corner shop with DH (you know, a premier that sells all kind of manor of useless/old fashioned things) and thought about buying some cider but the mere idea of it makes me retch. DH has changed his tune and now said he'd be v surprised if I'm not up-duffed this month!
Jury is still out, got some cramps but feel more ibs than af (I think, could be wrong!).
Anyway the shop had a bottle of Tizer!! How retro. I bought it. Awesome stuff. Way better than cider [buhmm]

Obviously our hcg level just aren't quite high enough to show a bfp. The only way to increase those levels is to eat chocolate. I've got a Glee egg, it comes with a free mug that says 'I'm a gleek!'

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 10:06

Oh God, I do that constantly - "if I'm pregnant..." "when we have a baby..." !

Now. Is this queasiness the result of a Lindt bunny and two Cadbury's Creme Eggs for breakfast, or a bfp waiting to happen? Just humour me :)

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 08:31

DH arrived in living room half an hour after me. Having cuppa and watching MOTD. (Have seen first cuppa again...). DH still worried I'm getting carried away cos I keep saying "If I AM pg..."

Hugs from me too. How crap to have to work today, especially with not much sleep. Hope you get a day off soon.

Am also watching tv quietly while DP sleeps. I really wish I could sleep longer but I'm just incapable of it. DP is incredibly capable of it though.

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 07:21

aww hugs to Dizzy having to work today!! (I used to do shifts so I sympathise massively). Hope it's an ok work day.

DizzyKipper · 24/04/2011 07:14

Rubbish news Griselda, such a long cycle must be a nightmare. Sad

Barely got any sleep, almost time to set off for work. Not fun. Hope you have a good days ladies and enjoy the sun. Last day before the AH wait now.

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 07:06

Also weird dreams - night before last went dreamt I went to a karaoke session but instead of song books you had to look through a baby name book! Then go and see if they had the song you wanted inspired by the baby names!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 07:03

It can just stay high. Traditionally some women see a triphasic temp rise ie low before ovulation, then peak at ovulation then another rise but as long it remains high it doesn't really matter. I've never had my temp stay high this far on in my cycle (but it's only the 4th cycle Oct charted).
Why can't I sleep?! Have had to get up not to disturb Dh! Enjoying a Ground force rerun on Home for inspiration!

PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 06:41

Don't know. But I feel more sanguine about this one than I did when I tested a couple of days ago. Oh well.

Hurrah for high temp! What does it need to do now? Rise a bit more, or just not fall? Will keep my fingers crosses fr whichever.
